Kingdom Hearts: Not just a story…
Kingdom Hearts 3 is still a long time away, but when it begins raining its going to pour! It will definitely be a turn for the best in the series in numerous ways. I’ve been snooping around the internet lately and realized that everyone is highly anticipating the story. Not that this is bad, but people are starting to forget: Kingdom Hearts 3 isn’t just a story, it’s a GAME! You aren’t just hearing a great story but you’re also playing a great game, but nobody seems to be hyping the gameplay possibilities!
One thing to keep in mind is that the possibilities of a multiplatform or even a platform change strategy may be in the works. Although it sounds weird, many other game developers (everyone but Square Enix actually) have chosen multiplatform games that seem to work just fine. Each console has its advantages and disadvantages; PS3 has power (tapped by Square Enix, of course) and the SIXAXIS but slow developing: the Wii has a potential-filled controller but not much power in it: and then the Xbox 360 (the less likely to get anything from Square Enix though) is even with the PS3 in terms of power along with the best online console platform ever conceived that unfortunately has no motion-sensing support. Whichever platform(s) that Square Enix chooses, their AAA developing will get it done and done right.
Another thing to keep in mind is that, with the new “series” coming along, that we may be able to play certain segments of the game as other Keyblade wielders! Wanted more dual- keyblade time with Roxas? Want to kick a$$ as the Terra, Aqua, or Ven? What is it like to wield Riku’s dark powers I wonder? What is it like being a midget bada$$ like Mickey Mouse? We might soon find out. Speaking of the Keyblade, I really like pondering what you might be able to fight like in the final game. What about destroyable environments?! Imagine throwing the keyblade and knocking over a pillar on some unfortunate Heartless. And the Reaction Command system, OMG will that get a kick start! It is all possible with the new consoles.
Also, Square Enix is bound to bring in more Final Fantasy characters. So many awesome FF characters could become valuable allies in KH3. Ever thought of Zidane (FF9) stealthing around the battlefield stealing from and pummeling Heartless? What about Sin (FF10) as an optional boss? Or maybe even the judges (FF12) will make an appearance? All in good time, my friends.
Add everything together and you get the possibilities for what I personally love the most about Kingdom Hearts: scale. A perfect example is the 1000 Heartless mission in KH2. Now imagine, every single battle ready character defending Hallow Bastion/ Radiant Garden while every single Heartless, Nobody, Organization XIII member, and maybe a Dis-Soul (?) leading an all out attack on the castle.
Now that all has been said, lets see what it adds up too; KINGDOM HEARTS 3 ROCKS! Peace out guys, and keep theorizing on the story!
Thanks to KingdomHearts3.net reader Andrew Burgess for this submission!

Also, please bring back something to do with Roxas (perhaps in his black coat? I don’t like his regular clothes much. Or at least some kind of mysterious clothing.) and Namine. I love those guys, they’re so great! They should be optional party members, but with that eerie transparent look, that’d be cool.

Please, please, please bring it out on the PS2, I really really don’t want to buy a PS3, they’re far too bloody expensive! C’mon, Square Enix, have a HEART. I really want to play KH3 but I can’t afford a PS3! Please, help me out!

1. I’d like to see the next Sora/Riku/Kairi game feature two parties; one consisting of the three mentioned above, and the other consisting of Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. That way we get Riku and Kairi involved much more directly without leaving Donald and Goofy out.
2. I’d like to see a COMPLETELY NEW set of drive forms in the next game which follows the Sora plotline, which starts with Final Form and then moves on to stronger ones, and your idea’s sound like they’d be good ones for post-Final transformations.
3. I’d like to see Reaction Duels, wherein you don’t just mindlessly mash triangle whenever the symbol comes up, but instead mindlessly mash multiple geometric shapes as their symbols come up, in a string of multiple commands which, if entered succesfully, deal a lot of damage to the enemy (most likely a boss) and look really cool. This would be in addition to ordinary reaction commands.
Keep it up, those were all pretty good idea’s.

I have about 50 pages of gameplay elements I’d like to see, but I’ll try to let you guys post too
Anyway, I bring thee my first list.
1. Replacing Donald and Goofy with Kairi and Riku. Listen, I like those 2 nutcases as much as the next guy, but it’s about time Kairi and Riku get to see some REAL action. Think about it; Riku’s lost his dark powers, so he’ll have to revert to his OLD fighting style. This fills in Goofy’s “High Attack and Defence” slot. Kairi just learned how to fight. However, being a Princess of Heart, she is naturally skilled in the Mystic Arts. This could fill Donald’s “Low Attack and Defence, VERRY high Magic” slot. Roxas and Namine’ could be secret party members.
2. More Drive Forms. They already have an Attack Form (Valor), a Magic Form (Wisdom), a Balanced Form (Master) and an A$$-Kicking Form (Final). Also, those lucky SOB’s in Japan got a Special Attack form (Limit). We could have a Defence form, a form for each of the Elements (fire, ice, etc…) maby even Forms that only work with specific characters!
3. More Reaction Commands. Why? Cuz i’m a sucker for timed button presses, I’m not sure why.
Whad’ya think?

We all know that, but having the judges as well would be fun.

im sorry to say a doode but the armored people are not judges. they are the new characters that will posibly take the place of sora and the gang

it would be awsome to switch time periods between sora and the new team(terra, aque, and ven)and to have a choice to switch who your controling in game.not to menshin unleashing this on the wii and using the motion sensor as a factor.

I would LOVE to play blitzball. But a more fast paced version of it. It would be an AWESOME minigame.

Wouldn’t having Final Fantasies I-VI appear as worlds be fun?

it would be so cool to have some sort of motion-sensing keyblade controller.
even if it was just some sort of sword controller interchangable in with other games, that would be so awesome!!
