Kingdom Hearts 3 is still a long time away, but when it begins raining its going to pour! It will definitely be a turn for the best in the series in numerous ways. I’ve been snooping around the internet lately and realized that everyone is highly anticipating the story. Not that this is bad, but people are starting to forget: Kingdom Hearts 3 isn’t just a story, it’s a GAME! You aren’t just hearing a great story but you’re also playing a great game, but nobody seems to be hyping the gameplay possibilities!

One thing to keep in mind is that the possibilities of a multiplatform or even a platform change strategy may be in the works. Although it sounds weird, many other game developers (everyone but Square Enix actually) have chosen multiplatform games that seem to work just fine. Each console has its advantages and disadvantages; PS3 has power (tapped by Square Enix, of course) and the SIXAXIS but slow developing: the Wii has a potential-filled controller but not much power in it: and then the Xbox 360 (the less likely to get anything from Square Enix though) is even with the PS3 in terms of power along with the best online console platform ever conceived that unfortunately has no motion-sensing support. Whichever platform(s) that Square Enix chooses, their AAA developing will get it done and done right.

Another thing to keep in mind is that, with the new “series” coming along, that we may be able to play certain segments of the game as other Keyblade wielders! Wanted more dual- keyblade time with Roxas? Want to kick a$$ as the Terra, Aqua, or Ven? What is it like to wield Riku’s dark powers I wonder? What is it like being a midget bada$$ like Mickey Mouse? We might soon find out. Speaking of the Keyblade, I really like pondering what you might be able to fight like in the final game. What about destroyable environments?! Imagine throwing the keyblade and knocking over a pillar on some unfortunate Heartless. And the Reaction Command system, OMG will that get a kick start! It is all possible with the new consoles.

Also, Square Enix is bound to bring in more Final Fantasy characters. So many awesome FF characters could become valuable allies in KH3. Ever thought of Zidane (FF9) stealthing around the battlefield stealing from and pummeling Heartless? What about Sin (FF10) as an optional boss? Or maybe even the judges (FF12) will make an appearance? All in good time, my friends.

Add everything together and you get the possibilities for what I personally love the most about Kingdom Hearts: scale. A perfect example is the 1000 Heartless mission in KH2. Now imagine, every single battle ready character defending Hallow Bastion/ Radiant Garden while every single Heartless, Nobody, Organization XIII member, and maybe a Dis-Soul (?) leading an all out attack on the castle.

Now that all has been said, lets see what it adds up too; KINGDOM HEARTS 3 ROCKS! Peace out guys, and keep theorizing on the story!
