The Future of Kingdom Hearts
This section has to deal with past information that might affect the next game.
The night Sora received the keyblade it was stated by Nomura that was not suppose to receive it, but that it was suppose to be Riku’s. This is also backed in the game with Jiminy’s Journal. If you were to look under Riku in it it says that Riku is the True Keyblade master. Now this is not to say that Sora would not have recieved, but merely to say that at that time he wasn’t suppose to receive it. The reason why Sora did receive it, stated by Nomura, is because at the time Riku had already given himself over to the darkness. Now your probably asking yourself “what does this have to do with Kingdom Hearts 3 or the new series?” Let me answer that for you. In Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix+ you can battle the tallest knight Terra. Just before the battle he shares some dialog with you.
“Aqua… Ven… Keyblade… who are you? I can feel it… we have met before… it was when… No… it isn’t you… It isn’t you that I have chosen… Why is it not him… Xe… ha… nort… is that you? Xeha… nort… Xehanort!”
Here you learn the name of the other two knights and that Terra chose somebody for something. Now this could possibly mean that Terra chose Riku to originally to receive the Kingdom Key. My guess is that the fact that Riku was suppose to originally receive the keyblade is going to have something to do with Kingdom Hearts 3.
It is also worthy to the Nobody Xigbar. Because from him you learn an interesting fact. Just before the Sora’s boss fight with Xigbar he says to Sora “That out of all the ones before you, you are the weakest.” Now from this dialog we learn that Xigbar has fought other Keyblade Wielders before. This to has been confirmed by Nomura. Now when using the term weakest Xigbar means that Sora is novice when using a Keyblade. We can see this when we fight Terra. But right now this is a kind of moot point. The point of this entire conversation is that we learn that A) there are other keyblade wielders and B) that Xigbar not only fought them but defeated them as well. So the question remains, who were these other keyblade wielders. Now from the secret videos we learn that there are in fact four or five other keyblade wielders. First there are the three Knights Terra, Aqua, and Ven and the Bald Guy and the Dark Knight (the reason I say four is because it is yet unknown if the Dark Knight is a separate entity or just the heartless/nobody form of the Bald Guy). Now Xigbar could be referring to one or more of these wielders. I should also note that in a scene from Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix + we see Aqua’s armor and Keyblade.
Now this section has to deal with the new series.
Now Nomura has stated that the Kingdom Hearts game to come out will be part of a new series. In the Another reports he mentions that there are four missing adventures to the Kingdom Hearts series. Mickey’s time in the Dark Realm seeking: Kingdom Key: Dark Side, Riku’s adventures in between Chain of Memories, Roxas adventure with the Organization, and Xehanort’s Past. Now it was hinted at the next game would be about Xehanort’s past. You can come to reasonable conclusion from the Birth by Sleep video that you will probably be playing with Mickey and that this game is set in the past. Also the case of the videos comes into question here. The first video that you get at the end of Kingdom Hearts 2 shows a section of an Ansem report having to deal with the keyblade. Then shows Terra standing on the dragon that Xehanort road on. He then looks around two reveal Aqua and Ven. He jumps off the dragon and the dragon disappears and they walk to Sora’s, Riku’s, and Mickey’s keyblades and they pick them up. Then they look into the distance to reveal that a fourth figure is approaching. Then the words Master of Keyblades, the Lost Two, Memory of Xehanort, Chasers, and Keyblade War. Then it says “It all began with…Birth by Sleep.” Now this shows that the Birth by Sleep video happened before the first video. I believe that the first video is in fact meant to be a preview for the Kingdom Hearts 3 game. Now the second video depicts the Knights fighting a Bald Man and a Dark Knight both who wield keyblades. I believe this is meant to be a preview for the in the new series. The first game will probably revolve around Xehanort’s past (aka Memories of Xehanort) and the origins of the keyblade. You will probably playing as Mickey in this one. This will some how tie into Kingdom Hearts 3, much like Sub - Zero and Mortal Kombat 4.
This section has to deal with the Lost Two.
Now we were given a interesting piece text that gives a little insight in to who the Lost Two are and about who Terra is. This piece of text is
“Master Xehanort’s Avenger, his name is Terra.”
“Not yet awakened, he is connected to those two.”
Now this is interesting because Terra expresses much hatred for Xehanort after you fight him and in the text before battle if you choose to battle him again. You can reasonably assume that Terra and Xehanort use to be allies and that Xehanort was a good guy. Now someone on here referenced Xehanort to also mean thunder in latin if you rearrange the letters in his name with out the X in it. Now I wouldn’t have used the Power Ranger to connect this, but I have come to find that there is truth in what this person said. By rearranging the letters to form the word thonare, the more common spelling of the word in tonare. Nomura has stated that Xehanort’s becomes Another and No Heart when the X is removed. The point id that we can assume that Xehanort was a good guy a one time, but for whatever reason turned his back on the light and became a bad guy. Now the connection to the Lost Two comes from the second piece of text in which it says that Terra is not awakened and that he is connected to two people. Now the only people we have seen him with are Aqua and Ven. Another interesting piece of information is that you can only fight Terra after you have beat the game. At least ever single guide I have read about the has said that. Anyways, now Aqua and Ven are not present in Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix + because, are alluded two just before the fight with Terra, and we see Aqua’s armor and keyblade in the Room of Sleep. So is safe to assume that the Lost Two are Aqua and Ven.
This section has to deal with the Keyblade War.
Now Nomura has stated that Keyblade War was a way for him to tell us that there were fights between Keyblade Wielders. Also in the Ansem report in the beginning of the Gathering video it states that the Keyblade saved the world and that it wrought chaos upon the world. So it is safe to assume that these legends refer to the Keyblade War. This war was probably waged across the different worlds. Which is why the walls separating them were put up. We are led to believe that passage was possible between worlds do to Kiari’s grandmother’s story. Now Nomura has stated that this story is for the most part a child’s bedtime story, but he also mentioned that there is a small fraction of history in it. The Keyblade War would also explain the conflicting legends across the worlds about the keyblade it’s self. Now as for the Master of Keyblades.

if the keyblade war is set in the future then maybe terra was a member of organization XIII and terra passes on to the good side and xehanort doesn’t want to and betrays terra

There is no evidence to support that Xehanort is even still alive after Kingdom Hearts 2.

Concerning Roxas and Namine.
Now alot of people are under the specualtion that Roxas had a heart. This is in fact false. Roxas did not have a heart. Although he was unquie for a Nobody, he could wield keyblades and simulated feelings, he didn’t have a heart. Now as we know in Kingdom Hearts 1 Sora used a keyblade to unlock his heart to release Kairi’s heart and became a heartless. At this point in time a Nobody was born, but it wasn’t Roxas. In Scret Ansem Report # 12 we learn that Namine was created from Sora’s sacrifice. This is due to the fact that Kairi is a Princess of Heart, and therefore has no darkness in her heart. So for body and her remained in tact and couldn’t be absorbed by darkness. Now Roxas came into being when Kairi turned Sora’s heartless back into human, we learn this in the same Ansem report. Roxas used the remains of Sora’s heartless as a medium to create himself. In essense Roxas was created from Sora’s heart. This supported by the fact that he could wield keyblades, which requires a strong heart to wield. Due to the fact that he was created from Sora’s heart he could simulate feelings. This would also help explain why he didn’t have Sora’s memories. Where a normal Nobody is created from the body and soul, Roxas was created from the remains of a heartless. Therefore he really wouldn’t have Sora’s memories.

Wiseguy21: No, Xehanort was not slain with a keyblade to become a heartless and a nobodie. When Xehanort was getting ready to travel the worlds he put himnself through his own heartless creation machine. You learn this in the Ansem Reports in Kingdom Hearts 1. By choosing to become a heartless it allowed him to keep his own individuallity. Now Xehanort’s heartless was a emblem heartless, that is part of the reason he was different from a normal heartless. Now Xehanort was whole when he was found Ansem the Wise, not a Nobodie or Heartless.

All of this brings many things to light, kudos to Tazimus Prime, Beanie, Rob, and the others. A question I still have is why Xemnes (Xehanort’s Heartless) kept his own human form and was able to control all the other heartless and make his own army. We know that he was related to Terra, Aqua, and Ven but at some point he must have been slain by the keyblade and then seperated into his Heartless(Xemnes) and Nobody(Xehanort) forms. Even Sora only retained a human form in his Nobody form (roxas)and was a normal heartless when he was slain. Why did Sora have a weak heartless? Someone previously mentioned that the longer you are a heartless, the stronger you become, so maybe since sora was a heartless for such a short time period, he did remain weak. This makes the idea of the Keyblade War happening a very long time ago, very believeable, think, if Xehanort was slain and seperated into his Nobody and Heartless forms such a long time ago, this would give time for his Heartless form to grow in strength and power. But wait, wouldn’t that mean he was a Nobody when Ansem took him under his wing???

Beanie: With the Nobodies it is true that when one had a strong heart that it takes the form of a human. But heartless are a different story. Xehanort creates certain heartless infact all heartless with his symbol on them were created by him, emblem heartless. That basically leaves only four types of heartless that were not created using that machine, the Shadow, Neo Shadow, Dark Balls, and Dark Sides. Now how heartless decide to take which form we don’t know. If it was heart then Sora wouldn’t have became a simple shadow heartless now would he. Maybe heartless grow stronger the longer they are a heartless. As for why Nobodies and heartless pose a threat it is because they are beings born from darkness, it is as simple as that. Now we have covered why certain Nobodies take human form and have a mind of their own, but why did Sora’s and Xehanort’s heartless have minds of there own. Well to simply put it, it is because when they became heartless they chose to become them. Unlike all others Xehanort chose to become a heartless to travel to other worlds, while chose to become one to give Kairi her heart. That is why Xehanort and Sora still had there own minds when they were heartless.
on 30 Jul 2007 at 3:43 pm 106. Beanie
Heres something to think about
Why are some heatless more powerful then others? Same goes for the Nobodies, some are mindless machines whilst others take human form and (Xehanort) can pose a threat to humanity
Its to do with the hearts they once had, and personally thats why i believe that Sora will never turn to darkness because his heart is the keyblade’s heart the strongest of all.

Rai: Well Rai your theory is actually quite. Now there is alot we don’t know about the relationship between Terra and Xehanort, all we really know is that they know each other and are connected. Now I’m working on a theory that states Xehanort and Terra are brothers, but I only have very slim evidence to support it. So it wont be seen around here for awhile. As for the hole in the theory, well since we don’t much you filled in the best you could, so we are just gonna have to wait and see.
rob livingstone: Well Rob your whole theory reminds of something a theory I made once. I called it the goddess of fate theory, in the end however I determined it be false. Now I’m gonna have to agree in a way with #1 DinestyX here about why Sora returned to normal when being a heartless. Now Nomura has talked about heartless and Nobodies returning to normal. He said that when a heartless is destroyed the heart goes to Kingdom Hearts and waits for its corrisponding nobody to be destroyed. So basically a being generally doesn’t return to normal unless his nobody and heartless are destroyed. Sora however was a special case. That is why it doesn’t happen. Seeing has how Kairi is a Princess of Heart that probably had something to do with it, along with the fact that she loves him.

hey guys, this is sams friend. sorry about calling you guys jerks, that was out of line. i would just like to say that i really do enjoy your point of views. but is still stand by my theory about kh3.
on 29 Jul 2007 at 7:44 pm 103. #1 DinestyX
nice theary but I think Kiri could do that cuz she is a princess of light
on 29 Jul 2007 at 7:33 pm 102. rob livingstone
this is my theory for kh3:
when a heart stoops to darkness, a heartless is formed, when this happens, the body and soul become a nobody. In kh1, Kairis love of Sora returned his heart after having been turned into a heartless. This has never been deeply explained. If heartless can be returned to normal-why do they do not? why do they stay a heartless? The hearts themselves go to kingdom hearts. So why do Hearts fear the keyblade? Ansems report says all that is gone from existence through the keyblade(the dead heartless) will return to the light (kingdom hearts). So why does the heartless not meet its heart in kingdom hearts and become human. Is there some divine being within kingdom hearts that can somehow intervene with this process. Perhaps this being considers itself a god
of sorts. I think the man in the distance of the birth by sleep trailer is the being which controls a hearts passage to its body. Maybe the heartless do this beings bidding in the hope that it will allow its passage back to its body. Maybe the heartless fear the keyblade because this being uses it to prevent the passage from heart to body. I know this is complicated but does anyone agree with me?

i got a theory based on terra and xehanorts connection.
i got this picture in my head of terra and xehanort once being friends, but then xehanort was corrupted by darkness and out of that did something terrible (a MAJOR hole in my theory, i know) leading to terra hating him. terra would then confront and fight xehanort, and winning the fight, he banished xehanort to another world/time. more exact, to the time when ansem found him and took him under his wings.
i REALLY want taz’s reply on this, so please comment

wiseguy21: Riku was suppose to be the origenal recepient of the Kingdom Keyblade, but because Riku gave his heart over to darkness the Keyblade went to the next strongest heart, Sora. This has all been confirmed by Nomura. Nomura also states that no one can wield a keyblade unless they have the required heart, so Sora is a keyblade wielder. Now it is merely theory that I and other share that Terra chose Riku to wield the Kingdom Keyblade, because of what he said at the begining of the battle in KH2 FM+.
To everyone: You all should read the new Nomura INterview posted on the site. It covers the fact that, though that the next game is not KH3, there will be a Kingdom Hearts 3 later. He also says it will probably be for a hand held system. And that Sora will be back in Kingdom Hearts 3, but he wont be in this new game.

Think 4 a sec…..the preview to Kingdom Hearts 3takes place in the past…why in the Final Mix version Sora fights one of these guys….SOra didnt exist then…..whats the catch? I know you guys seen the video..and at the end of Kingdom Hearts 2…Sora,Riku and Kairi was lookin at a letter from King Mickey. Then the secret ending came. How is it in the past and Sora fought with Terra?
on 22 Jul 2007 at 11:50 pm 94. Josh77spazz
well it kinda wouldnt happen since that was before sora’s time(or at least thats what people believe). but if you saw the enigmatic soldier fight then you learn that he thought he was xehanort. but after sora won he realized he was wrong. and you find out that terra didnt choose him. aand as for him getting mad. i dont know exactly but i think they went there to prevent what the old an was going to do. but they failed so i guess thats why he is mad.

please respond but is sora and riku and donald and goofy in kingdom hearts 3????
on 21 Jul 2007 at 11:25 am 92. Beanie
Your all forgetting that even evil can weild the Keyblade
So when Riku went into darkness, it wouldnt of matterd.
on 21 Jul 2007 at 5:08 am 91. wiseguy21
Maybe the keyblade did pick Riku, but then when Riku was taken by the darkness, the keyblade was forced to take on a new weilder, Sora. So maybe this is why Riku was still able to take the keyblade from Sora in the first Kingdom Hearts at Hollow Bastion. Because Riku was originally the first chose of the keyblade. Then again, in Kingdom hearts 1, Riku gets his own dark keyblade, after Sora defeats Riku in Hollow Bastion, and takes the keyblade back. So I’m not quite sure, just a theory. Maybe the previous owner of the keyblade does chose who gets the keyblade. Because in the Terra cutscene in Final Mix Plus 2 shows that Terra is angry that Sora recieved HIS Keyblade. Terra says that he chose some else to recieve that keyblade, So maybe Terra was the weilder of the kingdom Keyblade, and had chosen Riku or someone else to have the kingdom Keyblade, but for some reason Riku didn’t get the keyblade.
