First Footage of KH: 358/2 Days
Xaldin from KHV received an anonymous email containing the first known recorded footage of Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days for Nintendo DS, presumably recorded at the Tokyo Game Show. It’s only 3 seconds long, but it’s worth it:
For those of you who can’t recognise the areas, it includes Roxas in his Organization XIII cloak:
- First in Twilight Town battling Yellow Operas and Shadow Heartless
- Then in Wonderland battling Shadow Heartless
- And finally outside the station in Twilight Town battling Darkside
Currently, it seems all the enemies are the same as in Kingdom Hearts I, but we’ll have to wait and see!

I have to say that all the enemies in this game should be heartless. The new enemies will be introduced in BBS and the point of this game will be to defeat heartless and collect those hearts for the organization.

Cool! May not be the most exciting, but it shows that KHD (Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days) may be released sooner than we expect it to. Hope it comes out atleast December of next year or sometime in 2009.

Hopefully it’s going to be fun game, but that was too short video for me to wait anything for 365/2. Hopefully Roxas gets company to the fights at some point, which I unfortunately think is not going to happen… I can’t even play Multiplayer mode because no one of my friends have Nintendo DS. And that really sucks.

I’ve already posted the comments from a marketing rep stating that KH3 WILL be produced for PS3. It’s almost common sense to know that it will be produced for PS3. Isn’t there any way to ban this Horsey dude from this site? And I don’t think there’s no point to argue about that KH3 is coming on PS3 or cellphone, if Horsey really wants to believe that way, then let him believe. When the proofs from Square Enix come that KH3 will be releasd on PS3, attack Horsey after that, if he hasn’t ran away at that time, I really think that he has. : ) And Horsey: spell right. With everyone wondering why you only use one keyblade and who the 14th member is, I can’t help but wonder if Riku will actually be the final boss in Roxas’ story.

I agree, of course the upcoming games will come out extremly nice. Of course that will only make us lose patience for the upcoming. People like us believe Kingdom Hearts will be more populer than Final Fantasy, maybe someday FF games will end up how KH started… with other videogame characters (by this I mean that maybe someday FF games will have Sora, Riku and other KH characters in them). But back to the point. Here is my true comment.
In 2002 I believe, a video game by the name of Kingdom Hearts for PS2, by Tetsuya Numora, charater designer of Final Fabtasy VII. Tetsuya liked his job but didn’t feel satisfied that this was ever going to bring much, so he started working on this project and when copies where bought, people where facinated by the work of this artist.
In late 2004, I think Chain of Memories for Game Boy Advance was realesed, when the videogame came out news about another game called Kingdom Hearts 2 were given. But the videogame’s scenarios were kind of the same to those of the first videogame. It was the storyline the entertaintment. Us fans of KH also get really touched by the storyline.
And as announced, KH2 was released in 2005 for PS2. Now this one really was a hit. More Fan websites were created (included this one), more videos were online and more fans started reading the manga that was realesed.
Then it came, the extended version of KH2 wich was released in early 2006. They called Kingdom Hearts Final Mix for PS2. And later they released the same videogame with an extra one on a separate disc, they called it Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories. Based on the Game Boy Advance game just that this one was for PS2. Now, the videogame Kingdom Hearts Final Mix + was given an extended version of the secret trailer at the end of the videogame, it was called Birth by Sleep, now we recognize this phrase as the upcoming game of the KH series.
In September 2006, the Tokyo Game Show’s Square Enix’s Mega Closed Theater showed previews of the upcoming games: Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep for PSP, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days for Nintendo DS, and Kingdom Hearts coded for mobile phones.
Until now I do really believe that the theme of the three first videogames is “friends stick together”, since the storyline of the videogames are mainly about Sora searching for his friends.

Personally, my favourite Organization XIII member is Luxord. I like his looks, I like his fighting style, pretty different from the other members fighting styles. Maybe I can learn more about him and his pretty unknown histoy (to me) from 365/2. I have to buy the Wi-Fi Connection stuff just in case before this game is released. I would imagine it’s easy enough if you use reflect, but I always end up using a limit trying to “learn” jump and have no magic left. I’ll try it out after I finish COM again.

Man I liked the fact that Xaldin was hard. Man if actually killed me once. I hate it when when games are easy. I want a game to challenge me. That is one of the things I liked about the first Dark Alliance game. It was pretty easy on normal and hard mode, but put it on extreme with my level 30 character (max level you could have was 40) the rats were killing me. That was a game I fully enjoyed.

Yeah, but did you think about that Roxas is Sora’s Nobody. In Sora’s name, there ins’t the X, but in Roxas’s name there is. Why can’t that be possible? Why can’t Aqua’s Nobody have completely different name than Aqua’s? Like, Xauqa (lol), same way like Sora and Roxas, Kairi and Naminè. Well, in a case, I too don’t think Aqua’s Nobody is the 14th member of Organization, attleast anymore.

why is the speculation of the identity of the 14th member so important. Who cares about the 14th member! They weren’t worth a mention in either of the previous two games that featured the organization. It’s probably just a way to retain the nobodies as normal enemies when they finally make KH3.

this is awsome cause you get to play as Xaiix ( the beserker dude that got realy strong with the moon) and he kicks so much ass. The indentity of the 14th member is important to me, because I’m interested about her. : D That’s all, but I have given out all my theories, I just wait and see who she really is. Yeah, you got that right Kairi Lover, it’s very fun to play as “bad guys”. Sometimes they are more interesting than the “good guys”. From many games I have found interesting main character (I mostly play RPG’s!), but from Kingdom Hearts, I really haven’t found character that I’m interested in…

Hey guys, and ladies, just got something new.
In the secret ending of kingdom hearts 2(not Final Mix +) when Terra walks towards Sora’s, Riku’s and Mickey’s keyblades there’s a huge thing behind him that dissapears. You know what that means don’t you? A new enemy. Also about the 14th member of the organisation, at the end of the secret ending there’s someone coming towards Terra, Ven and Aqua, It seams to be wearing an organisation uniform. Also the same personne appears to be in the picture of Ven on the beach on Destiny Island(You can only see it’s shadow). The arms caught my eye as the sleeves are the same on every uniform of the org. Is it possible the org. is over 10 years old?

Aqua, Terra and Ven are the three soldiers from KH2:FM secret ending or the Birth By Sleep trailer. Aqua is the female with the blue hair, Ven looks EXACTLY like Roxas, and Terra is the enigmatic soldier from final mix. Terra may sound like a girls name, but it’s not. Their names also have a similar meaning to Kairi, Riku and Sora, respectively.

Well to me it depends, KH2 of fm+?
If fm+ it would be terra.
As for KH2 it would be Sephiroth.
But the strongest of the org is, to me, Xaldin. Although you get a lot of mickey on his battle. But with Xigbar you can get Supreme drive so it’s quite easy from there.

I didn’t think Sephiroth was hard either. In my opinion, Xigbar was a pain in the posterior. I actually went antiform in the middle of the battle; soon got more drive form and turned final form only to run out of time and go valor form after replenishing my drive meter. then beating him as normal sora. it hurt my head, ate my potions and made me a heck of a better player. anyone agree that Xigbar was anoying with his teleport thing and ground warping thing.

anti-form is the weakest of all the forms, but if you get adjusted to playing with it, you can own a large group of guys in seconds. As far as my skills are concerned, I feel that I am pretty good or better, but when you play the game ten times or more you’re bound to get that good. But there are people who beat sephiroth and the enigmatic soldier at level 1 and don’t take any damage, that’s serious skill.
As for clayton in KH1, he’s a breeze if you set you’re characters properly and plan your attacks.

waitin4KH3: It’s impossible to beat Sephiroth and the Enigmatic Soldier at level because you gain experience by fighting enemies and bosses. Even if you were to run past all the enemies eventually a boss would cause you to level up. Besides there are also mandatory battles against heartless and nobodies you have to fight in certain areas of the game. Also about Anti-form, it isn’t the weakest form in the game. Now if you’re talking about brute strength Anti-Form is stronger then Valor Form and Wisdom Form. Now if you’re talking about defense then yes it is the weakest form. If you’re talking about speed it is faster then Wisdom form. The thing about Anti-Form is that it offers High damage but at very low defense. Your not as fast as Valor form but are faster then normal. You can also jump higher then Valor and Wisdom Form.

anti-form is weakest because you dont have any keyblades and you can see that you cause less damage if you watch the life bar when you’re fighting. It’s also the fastest form available unless you are using glide MAX.
And you can check youtube for the videos of the level 1 battles, I’m sure you use codes to gain no exp. And bosses give you bonus levels, not experience.

Sephiroth is the hardest boss, however if you have cheat codes he is easy to beat. Way to go ARMAX!!!
I prefer playing in expert mode that way the bosses are harder to beat, I like a good challenge which includes not using the forms Sora has. Sora does not stand an chance when two Organization members are fighting on the same side. Three against one (Sora, Donald, Goofy) does not sound like a good fight. so impromivsing comes in handy.
The hardest organization member in my opinion would probably be Demyx and Xaldin in (easy, normal and expert). Why well Xaldin has those lances which cause alot of damage and it is impossible to beat him without Mickey’s help.
Demyx is hard because the water attacks are hard to avoid not to mention the timer to kill his clones which could attack you, and he will attack you with Sitar if you wait to long or don’t respond to the command key correctly. Takes a chunck out of your life meter.

I don’t know how organization members with long hair are able to cover their hair within their hood. It must be the use of the powers in the material or something. I have come across that rumor. It couldn’t be Aqua since she would have to have an x in her name to be one of the organization, but her nobody? Aquas name meaning is like kairis we don’t yet know what key she should be wielding now what if she could wield whatever key she wanted due to her being a princess of heart and so forth,So the keyblade we ever did see her use she must have her own or have gotten it from someoneelses connection she was chosen for that one so i guess that she can wield dark,light etc. because of her connections and so forth.

Ok, now we have all been wondering which character from Birth by Sleep is the Xehanort we have all come to know. Most theories center around it being the Dark Knight we see in the Birth by Sleep video, Terra, and Ven. A lot people say Terra because we see his eyes change in Birth by Sleep to resemble Xehanort’s eyes. Now you can make an argument over Ven using the Secret Ansem Reports and what we’ve seen in the Birth by Sleep trailer. Now there is an argument using the Dark Knight because we don’t know what he looks like, but we know we are going to get to see him with his helmet off in the Birth by Sleep game. Now here is one thing that thanks to shadow I just realized. Xehanort took Ansem’s name for his own. Now unless we all of sudden see Master Xehanort become young again, then we can guess that the Xehanort we know isn’t him. I’m starting to think that the Dark Knight is the Xehanort we know and that he will eventually betray his Master at some point in the game and take his name. Now this is just a theory not backed up by any hardcore evidence, but I think it is a large possibility.

He has similar looks to Ansem,Xemnas and Xehanort though master Xehanort is the bald man.
Terra means earth like Riku means land,Aqua means water and kairi means ocean just as Namine has a similar name,Ven means wind and Sora means sky.
Terra picked up soras keyblade in the secret ending,Aqua picked up mickies and Ven picked up way to the Dawn.

I think your last theory is right on, except that Master Xehanort is probably defeated by the three heroes and Mickey during the battle depicted in BBS trailer. The masked man is probably trapped in Kingdom Hearts and “spit out” in Hollow Bastion to become Xehanort, Ansem’s apprentice. He had amnesia and thus only remembers his master’s name, but would later steal the name of his new mentor, Ansem.

I believe that the bald man in the movie scene is in fact Xehanort. His resemblance is too similar. Perhaps he found a way to get young again (or perhaps using someone’s body) if is a different guy he could of had the same name. The dark knight could fact be him or someone else. . The soulless theory is a good one and obviously the new final boss for KH3 will be an alternate version of xehanort. If it is not then they would be straying from what the game is supposed to be. I have a question, why is everyone thinking that there is going to something like the soulless? First of all it really isn’t possible since Ansem’s Other Reports state clearly that the soul is used in creation of Nobodies. Let’s not also forget that the Nobodies stated that all they need is their hearts to be come complete. They weren’t even looking for their souls. That would also mean that their is another version of Sora running around out there if there is such thing as soulless, which would be repetitive to the plot of KH2. The fact that there is a such thing as soulless would hurt the plot line of the KH series once you think about it. There are several reasons why soulless don’t and should not exist. In KH3 they’ll probably bring Xehanort back in his completed form. In one interview I remember Nomura touching on the subject of what happens after a Nobody and Heartless are defeated. Basically it went something along the lines that when the Heartless is defeated the heart will wait in Kingdom Hearts for the Nobody to it to be destroyed and then reunite with the Body and Soul. So since we destroyed the Heartless form, and it was probably expelled from Riku’s body in KH2 when the machine exploded, and the Nobody form that means that Xehanort is whole again and we’ll get to fight him as he truly is.

Jake: You’re way off. The knights are Terra, Aqua, and Ven. Terra is not Sora, Aqua is not Kairi, and Ven is not Sora’s son or Riku’s either. They are in a gamed based ten years before KH1. Making Sora four years old at that time. So unless Sora and rest of them grow backwards there is no way that they can be Sora, Kairi, Riku, or Sora’s son.

So was Sora 14 when he started in Kingdom Hearts? If so then when he went to sleep he should be 15 in the Kingdom Hearts COM. He went back to sleep to have his memories restored and then should be 16 in Kingdom Hearts II.

Key blade master: Uh Sora was 14 in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, a game that took place directly after Kingdom Hearts 1. Sora slept for 1 year to regain the memories that Namine made him forget or changed. That is why there is a 1 year difference between Kingdom Hearts 1 and Kingdom Hearts 2. In Kingdom Hears 3, since Nomura has said that it will take place directly after Kingdom Hearts 2, I’d wager Sora will still be 15.

KenowaX: It’s kind of obvious as to what the thing is. We ran into it while fighting Xemnas. It’s the dragon he was riding. You are right about “The Gathering” taking place after Kingdom Hearts 2. There are other little clues that it does. Like how all the capes on the knights are different colors in “The Gathering” but are the same color in “Birth by Sleep” or how Sora’s, Riku’s, and King Micky’s keyblade just disappear after the knights pick them up or the ending phrase is a big clue “It all began with…Birth by Sleep.” which happens to be the name of the video at the end of Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix.

Lets not forget, it did say “Keyblade war” meaning that could have been some kind of ‘tank’ thing used for keyblade combat; assuming there were more than just the four chasers involved. if there were more than just four then that would explain the whole forest of keyblades. if not then…well…i have no clue.

The MMORPG would not work for the KH universe period. Because there would have to be people who don’t have keyblades for it to work and everyone would want to have a keyblade.

KenowaX: Nobodies did exist in that time first of all. I really don’t know where people are getting this whole idea that Xehanort created the Heartless, but he didn’t. Now he created the Emblem Heartless not the normal Heartless. So seeing as the fact that a Nobody is created when a Heartless is then they would have to exist back then.

He was only 15 in KH2. He’ll probably be 15 again in KH3. The reason for such an age difference between KH1 and KH2 was because of KH:CoM and sense only one side game takes place after KH2 and only has a virtual Sora in it, my guess that there will not be another change in Sora’s age for KH3.

sora is 15 in KH2. He begins KH1 at the age of 14 and sleeps for ONE YEAR AFTER KH:COM. Thus he’s 15. And “the gathering” video from KH2 takes place after “birth by sleep” not before. I don’t think it matters that ven’s keyblade is not broken anymore.

Yes, in the game manual it says that he is 15 years old. I feel he probably will be older than that depending on how long the time period of Kingdom Hearts 3. I would say 16 or even older.

THey do not sell Kingdom Hearts Final Mix in America. it’s only available in japan. You can order it online or fly out there to buy if your that desperate. To see the gathering you can search Kingdom hearts 3 on youtube thats probably what it will come up under.

wow guys have have typed alot since ive last been here! Anyway, you guys gotta stop talkin about all of the stuff that dosent matter like soras age, that wont matter untill Kh3. and my theory is that if there are going to be THREE side stories instead of one like CoM, Kh3 is going to be one freaking awsome game. They are giving us three games to hold us back and seeing as that we have a big adventure coming for Kh3. BHE13: The possibility that they are their parents is slim to none. First of all this is a Disney game as well and I don’t think Disney wants to try and explain how someone that would be younger then Sora was in Kingdom Hearts 1 having a child. Ven appears to be the around the same age as Sora is currently. Now subtract 4 years from Sora’s age and you have what Ven would probably be when Sora was born, which would be around 11 for those of you not counting. Riku doesn’t share any traits with Terra. Really the same goes for Kairi and Aqua. Plus Why would they introduce there parents anyways? That would bring up to many questions. Basically this is meant to being out things about the past and answer question not create more questions.

BHE13: Well I’m mainly judging by looks when determining their age. I’m also using what info Nomura has given us on them. Like how in Japan Roxas’ voice actor will be Ven’s as well. Terra also appears to be the hardest boss in the game, but I haven’t played it just merely watched all to footage I could on it.

Okay, here’s my guess on the story. Ven’s real name is Ventis (Quote from Nomura: It’s a little bit longer). This comes from the latin word meaning Wind, as Terra means Earth and Aqua means water. A guess on Ven’s connection to Roxas: The unseen trailer of Birth By Sleep (That’s most likely going to be released in 22-23th of December) shows Ven in the last scene Watching Twilight Town from afar and saying “Because he is my friend, erase me”. This probably shows the meaning of Birth By Sleep, Ven has to sleep (or something like sleep) so Roxas could be “created”. Terra watches Riku and Sora playing in Destiny Islands just before this scene, which means that Terra has a connection with Sora (father maybe?) and Ven has to sleep to fullfil Sora’s destiny (Roxas). It’s just a guess okay? Chill
