Hi guys. Here are two of the new Keyblades of Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix. One is from Roxas and the other is from the Organization Mushroom sidequest. Here you have them:

I’m from HongKong… Japanese like Americans and Europeans, they just need time to provide their creations to Europe and America… is really cool! although I’ve watch the secret ending already…but is not enough for me…so i did try to get the secret movie by myself! and that would make me feel endless to the game….it is really a long game…i love the most in this game is the story and art, but not their Disney character and story, because it is really childish…..

i think the coolest one there is the Acrossed two i think thats what they are calling it. W/E its the one you win from roxes that one looks the best and it looks like it is more powerfull then maybe the ultimate weapon but i don’t think so. It does look more powerfull then that mushroom keyblade but that keyblade looks preety sweet aswell.

Wow. I really want to try KH2+. But the one I really wanna play is KH3….. Geez, they said it’s coming out ONLY in PS3… That’s pretty sad for those who can’t a afford a PS3.. and wants to continue the game. Well, if the PS3 would lower by then… it would still be a lot to me.. It would maybe lower to $400 or something.. but that is still A WHOLE BUNCH OF CASH.. =(

well the “acrossing two” keyblade(Roxases) increases your chances of getting anti-form which increases the chance of you getting final form sooner. The proof of victory(mushroom keyblade) you get it when you kill all of the mushrooms im not sure about the attack strnths of either so dont ask me

someone posted what acrossing two’s ability is, it increases the chance of becoming final form or anit form. but the other keyblade, the mushroom one can be obtained by compleating the XIII mushroom challenges are complete. and u get 0 exp i know it sucks:(

KH3 will definitely be for PS3. The KH team isn’t going to do all that work on Final Fantasy Versus XIII (the game they’re working on RIGHT NOW for PS3, which looks really freaking sweet) just to go back to the PS2.
Think about it this way: The Playstation had a successful 6-year run before the PS2 came out in 2000. It’s 2007, and the games are starting to exceed the limitations of the PS2. That’s one reason why Final Fantasy XIII was moved to the PS3; the game was /too long/ to fit on one PS2 disc (DVDs can’t hold nearly as much data as a Blu-Ray disc).
Now, we all agree that KH2 was a pretty long game, compared to KH1, right? If Square is making games that are TOO LONG for one PS2 disc, think about how awesome the next game is going to be! Square has never been one to limit themselves, after all.
The release dates for FFXIII and FF Versus XIII haven’t even been announced yet (according to Wikipedia, anyway), so the next installment in the KH series is a long way off. By that time, PS3 prices will have fallen, and the PS2 will have been essentially phased out (though the PS3 is backwards compatible anyway, so there’s no problem).

I think that ‘XP 0′ is an ability that you can set at the beginning of the game. It’s an added challenge, especially for Critical Mode. After all, there’s enemies in Critical Mode that can kill you in one hit, no matter what level you are. People consider it to be a fun challenge to play a ‘Level 1′ game, but there are times when it’s just not possible to prevent yourself from gaining XP. That’s why ‘XP 0′ is in the game and on at least that Keyblade.
(If you’ve played FFVII, then you also remember that all of the ultimate weapons had Zero Materia Growth on them in exchange for having 8 linked Materia slots. Everything comes with a trade-off, and the trade-off on the Mushroom Keyblade seems to be that it has a higher strength than Ultima Weapon.)

these thing invole around the Heart (if you cant figure out the memory part play kh1 halloween town dr finkenstein says memory is a part of the heart)

Six minutes into the clip I started watching an hour ago (man, you people with DSL and high-speed don’t know what you’re missing, with these painfully long download times…you’re missing out, I tell ya), I have come to another conclusion while waiting for the remaining 2 minutes to download:
The E.S. cannot be Xehanort because the E.S. has not lost his memories. Xehanort, despite all his efforts, has still failed to regain his memories. Since the E.S. does not have amnesia, he cannot be Xehanort. (After all, why would Organization XIII be doing research on memory at Castle Oblivion if Xemnas didn’t have something to gain from it? He still lacks his memories, which the E.S. doesn’t.)
…at 6:46 into the video, it seems most logical that Xehanort is the knight in the Heartless Armor fighting for the bald man. Since there is no voice acting to go by, I am going to assume that Xemnas’ line (’久しぶりだな。。。友よ’; ‘Hisashiburi da na…tomo yo’) is sarcastic. It seems quite logical that Xehanort had been brainwashed into following the bald guy (which might have had an effect on the status of his memory; the bald guy is clearly a mage, and thus probably would not solely rely on psychological methods to brainwash Xehanort), and if he had turned on his allies, then he not only would have a sarcastic tone when calling them his friends, but he would return to gloat about their (apparent) defeat in the KH2:FM+ trailer. He’s been shown to be rather egotistical, after all…
Now that I have reached the end of the Xigbar Zexion clip, I must say that I stand by my position from earlier; there is no evidence that I see that supports the idea that the knight whose eyes turn yellow at the end of the KH2:FM+ trailer is Xehanort.

hmmmm i agree with shakespeare (i mean come on with has to agree with him with all the long post he has written) i knew straight away that wasnt xeharnoat(i cant spell) since his hair was a red/black and why would his eyes turn red like fire…. so i think that Ven and aqua are the chaser of sora and kairi and the red eyed dude is the chaser of axel (its his face i mean look it and think of axel) kind of fits doesnt it?
i notice u see the fenrir keyblade in the secret vid as well not any other keyblade i’ve seen (apart of the circle of life keyblade) these are the two only keyblades i’ve notice.

if you wondered that why roxas used the oathkeeper and the oblivion, the reason why he used those keyblades is because roxas was sora’s nobody, right? so, sora is light and roxas is dark and both carry the same weapon, right? and he cant use the new keyblades, that would not fit him perfctly. make sense to you?

Yeah, I’d have to say that the keyblade from the Roxas fight is sweet, but I think people are misunderstanding. Roxas doesn’t USE that keyblade, no more than Axel used Bond of Flame. It’s just like any other keyblade that you get after winning a fight.
And in response to ‘what’s on Roxas’s keychain’, it’s his ‘X’ pendant.
And I definitely want the Proof of Victory (Mushroom Heartless) Keyblade…that sucker’s adorable.

KH3 will NOT be coming out in 2008. We haven’t even heard a release date for Final Fantasy XIII, which will definitely be out before ‘KH3′ (we’ll call it that despite the fact that Squeenix has said that there is not going to be a game called KH3, but what you saw in the FM+ video is leading to a new series; possibly a spin-off?).
The KH team is still hard at work on FF Versus XIII, a spin-off of FFXIII (Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy XIII has 3 games in the compilation; FFXII, FF Agito XIII and FF Versus XIII). The KH team will need to finish THAT game (which will be a good indicator of what the future of KH will hold) before returning to their original project.
FYI, according to Wikipedia, all FFXIII game release dates are TBA.

Everyone, I have done it.
I have discovered the secret of Xemnas’ past and the next Kingdom Hearts game (which will not be called Kingdom Hearts III-this is streight from Nomura’s mouth).
The “friend” in the new movie in which Xemnas goes deep into his lab in Hollow Bastion is the girl in the blue armor from the new secret ending.
They are one and the same.
Please, compare them youselves, you will see that it is true.
What this means is that the next game will be a prequel to kingdom hearts.
Xemnas, or I should say, Xehanort, was a member of the chasers. I assume this based on his apparent relationship with the girl, hid hair’s shape,-similar to that of Ansem the heartless-and the numerous hints and suggestions that Xehanort was a keyblade user (he opened the “locked” door to darkness).
In this new game, we will learn of Xehanort’s time with the chasers and the event that caused him to lose his memory and end up in Hollow Bastion.
All this is almost certain.
Now, on the my hypothosis.
The appearance of the girl in the room of sleep probably means one of two things.
First, that she was with him when he came to Hollow Bastion. She was dead, or in some comatose state, and he is now using the Room of Sleep in conjunction with the sought-after Room of Awakening to revive her.
Secondly, she may have not have been with him when he arrived in Hollow Bastion. He sought her out upon regaining his memories, which may have occurred before or after he opened the Door to Darkness and split himself into Ansem and Xemnas.
Please, read this and tell me your thoughts.

‘Kairi’ (at least the ‘Kai’) is Japanese for ‘ocean’ (the kunyomi is ‘umi’); ‘mizu’ and ’sui’ are Japanese for ‘water’. The E.S.’ name will have to be a masculine derivation of Terra, since ‘terra’ is a feminine noun.
Now for the meat and potatoes of this post.
Sephiroth can’t be Cloud’s Heartless OR his Nobody, because Sephiroth is /older/ than Cloud by about five years (judging by Cloud’s age during the Nibelheim massacre, the fact that Sephiroth remembers Professor Gast, the five-year missing-presumed-dead period, Vincent’s statements about the events surrounding himself, Lucrecia and Hojo, and Aerith’s age). I think I was able to pin his age at somewhere between 25 and 27 for the events of FFVII, but it would take too long to explain (especially if you haven’t played the game).
Cloud and Sephiroth represent light and darkness and are symbiotic in that sense, but one’s existence is by no means dependent on the other’s. (If it were, why would they try to kill each other? Especially since Aerith isn’t dead, and Nibelheim probably doesn’t exist in the KH canon.) They are clearly separate entities, despite Sephiroth’s statement ‘I am you.’ (Sephiroth spends a good deal of time controlling Cloud in FF7, and Sephiroth was Cloud’s childhood hero; he dreamed of being a famous SOLDIER just like Sephiroth, and built his life around that dream.)
Sephiroth is far more powerful than Cloud because number one, he has more experience in general (Sephiroth was a SOLDIER First Class and a general of the army, Cloud failed to get in to SOLDIER and was a grunt in Shinra’s army); number two, Cloud’s strength is the result of an experiment where he was infused with Jenova cells (Jenova, of course, being Sephiroth’s mother and the source of his incredible strength), meaning that he falls under Sephiroth’s direct sphere of influence since Cloud has part of Sephiroth himself inside him; and number three, Sephiroth has a firm understanding of his foes. Cloud can’t even FIND Sephiroth without sending Sora off to sniff him out. Sephiroth, however, not only knows where Cloud is during the 1000 Heartless War, but he takes out the whole lot of them surrounding Cloud pretty much just by appearing there.
Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts is more than just a heart consumed by darkness, he IS Darkness. My theory is that he only has a form BECAUSE of Cloud’s memories of him (explaining the many quotes from Sephiroth, including his command in KH:FM for Cloud to embrace the Darkness, as well as the quote from KH2 where Sephiroth states that ‘No matter how many times I fall, your Darkness keeps calling me back.’ It’s the IMAGE that gets called back; and Sephiroth only needs one memory from one person to return.)
But alas, it’s 2:00 AM and I’m rambling. (And yes, I am a Sephiroth fan, which is why I was willing to dedicate so much of my sleeping time to typing this.) Time to sleep now.

Sephiroth speaks in metaphors a LOT. He rarely says exactly what he means. Cloud said that Sephiroth was ‘his Darnkess’, and Sephiroth scoffed when Goofy repeated it. (It’s also very possible that Cloud was being metaphorical when he said that Sephiroth was the one that ‘embodied all the darkness in him’. After all, it is because of Sephiroth that pretty much everything horrible in Cloud’s life happened.)
Perhaps a more pressing question to the ‘Sephiroth is Cloud’s Heartless/Nobody/Whatever’ debate is, if Sephiroth is indeed Cloud’s Heartless/whatever, why is the only characteristic these two characters share the fact that they both have blue eyes (a trait which, in Final Fantasy VII, was shared by ALL members of SOLDIER)? Ansem and Xemnas both share a strong resemblance to Xehanort, Roxas shared Sora’s unique ability to use a Keyblade and had a strong similarity in build and facial structure, as did Naminé and Kairi.
Sephiroth, however, has silver hair down to his ankles, three wings and a build that puts him at least a head taller than Cloud. Cloud has spiky blonde hair, no wings (I guess he lost the one he had in KH1 somehow), and a much shorter and stockier build than Sephiroth. The two bear no passing resemblance to one another. (If you really want, take a look at a source outside of KH, watch Advent Children and notice that Sephiroth and AERITH have more of a resemblance than Sephiroth and Cloud, when noting things like facial structure and the shape of the eyes.)

Well, as it has been pointed out, all the Final Fantasies are independent of one another. And really, how many Final Fantasy games have come out since KH?
I suppose the difference here is our choice of canon proof. I’m taking my proof from my knowledge of Final Fantasy VII, in which Sephiroth was born a few years before Cloud, and in which Cloud was infused with Jenova cells as part of the Sephiroth Clone project, which still makes Sephiroth ‘the darkness within Cloud’, as it is through this medium that Sephiroth controls Cloud’s actions throughout a good chunk of the game. (However, the Great Gospel rain at the end of Advent Children clears the Jenova cells from Cloud.)
A lot of people would probably point out that Reno has a lot of similarities to Axel, some going so far as to say that Axel is Reno’s Nobody. Of course, Axel - X =/= Reno, and Nomura has said that they are the ’same character’, but are not related. (It explains why they share a lot of similarities; facial tattoos, red hair, distinct speech patterns, the same voice actor…they are not related in-game, though.)

It’s because of the Geostigma (Seikon shokogon, ‘Star Scar’) that he wears the long sleeve on one arm; the rain makes the Geostigma disappear. From what I understand, Great Gospel makes everyone in the party invincible and restores all HP and MP, but Pulse of Life removes all status ailments.
(There’s debate as to whether or not Geostigma is a status ailment; the general consensus is that it is not. It’s also general consensus that the rain is Great Gospel, since the movie never says anything about it.)

Considering that Nomura hasn’t made a press release concerning KH3’s plot or anything (which would just be silly), I doubt that he singled out one employee at EB Games and divulged the plot to him. That guy is just like us; he’s just throwing his ideas and theories out there. Just because he gets a nifty polo shirt and a nametag (and a paycheck) doesn’t mean that he knows anything more than we do about KH3.
…Not like I wouldn’t want the nifty polo shirt and the paycheck, though. I’d take that any day.
But really, we don’t know anything about the game except for what we’ve seen in the secret trailers, and what Nomura has been willing to tell us about said trailers. The fact that you can fight the E.S. and that Xemnas knows where Aqua’s armor is kinda makes it unlikely that they exist in Sora’s heart, though, don’t you think?

I had read what Shakespear had said in post 169 and the more I think about the last part, the more something really doesn’t sit right with me. Not the “KH3 is in Sora’s Heart” thing…that’s most definitely bogus.
What bugs me, is that Xemnas knew where Aqua’s armor was, called it friend, and in another cut-scene in KH2FM, Xigbar states that Xemnas is looking for the “Room of Awakening” where the other “friend” is. Van perhaps?
If that is the case, that seems to support my other thought. If you watch the extended secret movie at the end of KH2FM, the Enigmatic Soldier, he has a similar hair style and yellow eyes, just like Xehanort. Granted, Xehanort has white hair, but a change in hair color seems insignificant.
If my assumption is correct,(Maybe, maybe not. Who knows?) the Enigmatic Soldier might be the true Xehanort, before he had his memories erased. It would explain his knowing the location of Aqua’s armor as well as he search for what I assume is Van’s armor, (The “other friend”, as Xigbar said.) and explains why the Enigmatic Soldier and Xehanort share what few physical features we have seen thus far.

But the E.S. hates Xehanort. One of his few lines in the game is remarking about his hatred for Xehanort. I’ve covered this extensively in the past (most likely on this page, or on the Videos page for the E.S. fight), and don’t have the time to repost it (I’m doing this in the middle of class while the teacher is preoccupied). In short, my theory suggests Aqua, Ven, Xehanort and the E.S. were all former allies, and that Xehanort betrayed them by giving in to the Darkness and fighting against them.
Also, I believe that Xemnas was being sarcastic in calling Aqua’s armor ‘friend’. I said in another comment that Sephiroth says the same thing to Cloud upon his return in Advent Children (Xemnas says ‘Hisashiburi na…tomo yo’ if I remember correctly, and Sephiroth says ‘Hisashiburi da na…[Cloud]’), and his is most certainly taunting and sarcastic in nature.

all im saying shakespeare is that i saw a very detailed video on youtube and along the way someone was talking to someone else about org. XXIX.i really can’t say much more, some of it was in japanese.
they mentioned Ansem the Wise somewhere in there so im guessing that maybe he was one of the apprentices of someone higher than him, so then he ruled Radiant Garden, found Xehanort, blah blah blah, and so… possibly the other guys that were with Ansem, the same thing happened to them, ya know with finding an apprentice and them discovering Heatless and Nobodies. Im also guessing that it was the Guy in charge of that org.(XXIX) thanx 4 some respect aruond here
