Yeah that has been mentioned, but I also think that the soldiers are a guy and two girls from the looks of the armour.
on 24 Oct 2006 at 5:39 am 119. coolman
they are not sora or anybody els we know so far
on 23 Oct 2006 at 11:50 pm 118. Marluxia
yeah, you are probably right about every weapon being there. Well, if this next question/theory was stated before, than I apologize for being redundant. Anyway, is there any possibility that the three soldiers in the secret ending are indeed Riku, Kairi, and Sora, and, after defeating the last monster (hence the big thing that disappears), the person walking towards them (I can’t even begin to guess) is the last enemy, which could possibly be a Chaser?
on 23 Oct 2006 at 12:58 pm 117. Riku
Stainless is right about Roxas unless the game is set while Sora’s asleep, which is possible, but personally I don’t think it looks like Roxas’ hair at all. Anywhoo, the ruin/monster (I know I’m obsessed)… Is it possible that the first soldier is standing in front of it in victory and then it disappears as it’s been defeated, whatever it is. As for the Keyblades, I wouldn’t be surprised if every type of keyblade over both games are on that battlefield (if it’s a battlefield).
on 22 Oct 2006 at 8:19 pm 116. Roxas
hmmm. i don’t see the bond of flame keyblade but as marluxia said there is fenrir. Also, one of the chasers picks up the kingdom key … i dont know what that signifies though…
on 22 Oct 2006 at 7:21 pm 115. coolman
bond of flame is also there

Well, I know this really has nothing to do with how KH3 is going to be, or what the ending is going to be like, but I just thought that it should be pointed out. Okay, during the secret ending in KH2, after it shows the three mysterious figues picking up the Keyblades, it shows a close-up of exactly 5 keyblades. There are four to the left, a space in the middle (with the three people in it) and one to the right. I just noticed that this keyblade is Sora’s Fenrir weapon… Probably just a coincidence.

mickeys key´s name is ” the dark realm key” so it is the dark key
i didn´t say he used the the dark power
you remember the dark realm on the other side of kingdom hearts where mickey and riku are in kh1´s end? it was there he got his key
do i make my self clear this time?
on 22 Oct 2006 at 2:00 am 112. sammy
i think the lost two are the 2 chasers who went to the dark side. one of them was xehanort.
on 21 Oct 2006 at 10:08 pm 111. stainless
if mickey’s keyblade is of darkness, y would it destroy heartless? and if mickey was holding a weapon of darkness, then the heartless could have easily taken disney castle without maleficent finding it for them. and if mickey was a wielder of a dark keyblade, he would have already gotten swallowed by darkness or leading the heartless to dominate the worlds. just like riku attempted to do with his own. ur rite that u can see a dark figure, that’s because that person is far away and i noticed that when the heat waves of the desert flow around the head area, the part that u call is a hood breaks up, so it can’t b a hood. srry matty, but the story with roxas is over, roxas went back into sora so sora could be complete, just like namine did with kairi. and btw roxas betrayed organization xiii so the nobodies will no longer side with him. ya of course that desert scene is supposed to be the past, way before sora existed, and the same event is going to happen once again in KH3. oh and i think there’s gonna b another kingdom hearts game for gameboy like CoM. i found an image that showed sora animated into the same animation in chain of memories but in his kingdom hearts 2 outfit.
on 21 Oct 2006 at 8:24 pm 110. coolman
what hair?
you can only see a shadow…
on 21 Oct 2006 at 7:45 pm 109. Matty P
KH 3 has to have an Incredibles, Treasure planet, Atlantis and Lilo and stitch world that would be awsome.
Oh yeah I dont know if anyone has said this yet but in the KH2 secret ending the person walking towards the 3 armoured people has to be Roxas (just look at the hair) if this is true I think the new game will be called Kingdom hearts 3:War of the KeyBlades in which the nobodies will be on Roxas’s team and Maleficent ,Pete and the Heartless will try to fight everyone but loose obviously.
on 21 Oct 2006 at 6:54 pm 108. coolman
the lost two could also be naminé and roxas
but the secret ending ending is suposed to be both past and furture so i think this is past and the new keybeares ( sora, riku ,the king) will do the samme scene in the furture
and for the last time mickey´s keyblade is not a ligth wepon but the dark keyblade

now that i think about that creature that soldier slained in the secret ending of KH2, could it b one of the original pure heartless? i remember reading one of the secret ansem reports from the game that heartless bearing the symbol of the cross over the heart, are manufactured beings, fakes. but the ones without the symbol like the Shadows, Neoshadows, and Darkside heartless are pure. so maybe that creature was an ancient form of heartless. like those ancient myths we imagine like knights and huge flying dragons y’kno wat i mean? besides, because something has thorns don’t mean it’s a nobody. cuz i remember fighting the Dark Thorn heartless in Beasts Castle and that thing sure wasn’t a heartless. and if u look closely at it’s chest or back, u can see that it has a cutout heart shaped hole just like the Darkside heartless. so it had to b a pure one. i wonder if the next kingdom hearts will introduce the stronger original heartless don’t u think so?
on 21 Oct 2006 at 2:23 pm 106. Riku
“If it was a form of Xehanort, he wouldn’t be wearing the hooded cloak because he was a member of the Organisation.” - I mean that he’d be wearing a hooded cloak for some other reason if it was him, as he wasn’t a member of the Organisation.
on 21 Oct 2006 at 2:21 pm 105. Riku
At closer look, the ‘ruin’ looks like either the massive creature Xemnas was controlling at the end of KH2, or like the ship Ragnarok from FF8. As for the “hooded figure”, both Riku and King Mickey wore hooded cloaks without being members of the Organisation. Also all members of the Organisation were Nobodies which would mean that if it was a form of Xehanort, he wouldn’t be wearing the hooded cloak because he was a member of the Organisation. Every member of Organisation XIII was defeated, so it can’t be, unless of course the new game is in the past or during the time Sora was asleep. As for Marluxia’s theory, it’s completely possible although we’d have to find out how Xehanort lost his memory in the first place, how he gets it back, and then how he would consequently create thousands of Keyblades alone. The fact that both Xehanort and Ansem were asking what a Keyblade was in their reports suggests it’s unlikely either of them were ever Chasers (by definition). Nick, the only reason Sora and friends went back in time to the Timeless River was to fix the problem Maleficent created in the castle. As Merlin pointed out, they couldn’t change anything else or the future would be in jepoardy. Also Sora then sealed the door where Maleficent entered leaving the only entrance in Disney Castle which Merlin created. Merlin wouldn’t create another portal so I’m almost positive that there won’t be time travel back to the Keyblade War as that would affect everything that happened in the first two games making them redundant.
on 21 Oct 2006 at 1:09 pm 104. Nick
For all those speaking about time travel and stuff, remember sora has travelled back in time already in the series.
on 21 Oct 2006 at 6:44 am 103. Marluxia
By the way, I have to agree that the ‘ruin’ is indeed a monster. The large spikes placed around the circular sections might prove that they are Nobodies rather than heartless. But, if this movie was indeed a war of the past, than, since nobodies didn’t exist yet, (I don’t think…) then they would either be advanced heartless or, possibly, Minions controlled by the Chasers.
on 21 Oct 2006 at 6:33 am 102. Marluxia
As Roxas said, the hooded figure in the end of the ’secret’ ending has to be an Organization member, for his figure resembles it to the thin sleeves and the obtrusive hoodie. And, this member is, of course, none other than Xehanort himself. Now, this is just a stab in the dark, but the hooded figure in the end is the old version of Xehanort, who used to be the head Chaser. Now, after the war, something must have happened to where he lost his memory of being a chaser, and, a while later, he was found by Ansem and taken in. Together, over the years, they studied the heartless, and, in time, Xehanort began to realize that he became more interested in the heartless. Anyway, after a while, Ansem and Xehanort grew apart and went their seperate ways. Anyway, after you defeat him in the end, and watch the default ending, you will notice that Riku, Kairi, and Sora recieva a letter from the King himself. It doesn’t, however, let you read this letter. My theory, after all of this, is that maybe, after studying the heartless and the Keyblades with Ansem, Xehanort, in the end, has remembered his true and old identity as a Chaser, and is now going to start something big, like, possibly, a war. And the letter, possibly, is a mission for the three chosen wielders of the Keyblades to stop him before he does.
on 21 Oct 2006 at 6:22 am 101. Roxas
At the end of the secret ending the figure walking through the dust has the figure of a member of the Organization 13. So I think it might be Xehanort after regaining his memory remembers that he was once a chaser so he is coming back to join them.
on 21 Oct 2006 at 3:15 am 100. stainless
well, whoever created the keyblades definetely had a good reason to make them and purpose. i’m referring to the chasers which is the name given temporarily to the soldiers. think about it, what do we already kno about the keyblade’s power? 1)it can seal the heart of worlds to protect it from darkness. 2)it can destroy the darkness. 3)the keyblade chooses its wielder if he/she is good of heart. so if there’s some info as to y a keyblade would be made for evil or serve as a weapon of destruction go ahead an hit me wit it. oh and btw, that ruin u mentioned earlier is actually a creature unlike the heartless or nobodies. maybe it is a creature from the final fantasy series or sumthin.
on 20 Oct 2006 at 10:08 pm 99. Riku
Also Stainless, doesn’t that mean different Keyblades have different purposes, not necessarily for good/light?
on 20 Oct 2006 at 10:21 am 98. Riku
Riku himself used his Keyblade while in the dark realm as explained in Kingdom Hearts II. “The creators of the Keyblades may be good and evil” which would mean that although the Keyblades Sora, Mickey and Kairi use in the games are weapons of light, there could just as easily be other Keyblades (that aren’t the Master Keyblade(s)) that are weapons of darkness. If that’s the case then it’s possible that Riku is one of “The Lost Two”, but then again “The Lost Two” could be two Keyblades.
On a separate note, in the KH2 opening film, Destiny Islands, Riku and Kairi disappear because they were a part of Sora’s memory. How about if the ruin that disappears behind the soldier is part of that soldier’s memory? Either that or a memory of Xehanort. Just a thought.
on 20 Oct 2006 at 1:00 am 97. stainless
Riku, u may be right about that but think about when sora killed himself in kingdom hearts 1. that particular keyblade was created by the hearts of the seven princesses. after it was used to kill, it disappeared forever cuz’ there’s no reason to still be around since it’s purpose (freeing Kairi’s heart from Sora) was complete and also, a keyblade is a weapon of light to fight the darkness, can u give me a possible explanation as to why a keyblade would let a person bearing darkness (regarding to that text u copied from the site about “The Lost Two”) use the keyblade for dark purposes?
on 19 Oct 2006 at 7:02 pm 96. coolman
i think the chasers are the new enemy ( like heartless and nobodies)
and the twiligth/dawn thing it´s the same dawn is just what riku calls it
the fourth road is the past and isn´t really a realm but where they come from when they chose a path
on 19 Oct 2006 at 2:20 pm 95. Riku
Ok, so it’s therefore possible that Riku is Dawn and Kairi is Twilight.
Anywhoo, I’ve found something more intriguing:
QUOTE
At first, it seemed that the soldiers in the trailer are “Chasers” who we thought chased either Sora, Hearts, Kingdom Hearts or something else. These mysterious beings fit the bill alright.
Further studying suggests something different…
E-mails and researching dictionaries suggests that “Chasers” are those who CREATED the Keyblades. Here is a definition from Dictionary.com:
One who decorates metal by engraving or embossing.
Other unconfirmed sources have had alternating definitions of a “Chaser”. Could the soldiers in the trailer be the creators of the Keyblades? Could this deserty plain be the place where Keyblades are crafted? There are many different Keyblades as we have seen, so this maybe the ultimate warehouse for them.
The creators of the Keyblades may be good and evil which would explain Keyblades being delivered to different people by different Masters, assuming these armoured figures are masters of Keyblades. Perhaps they give the power of the Keyblade to selected disciples, one chooses Sora, and after that, the Keyblade is bound to him.
This would explain much about where the Keyblades come from, why they are such a powerful weapon, etc.
ENDQUOTE
on 19 Oct 2006 at 2:14 pm 94. Riku
I’d like to quote another site on what they think:
QUOTE:
There are four paths carved out, which have a striking resemblence to the crossroads from Chain of Memories. The crossroads proved as paths between light, dark, twilight (as DiZ said) and dawn (as Riku said). Each character in the trailer comes from a different path, indicating a different state of heart. It is clear the crossroads will play an important part in KH3.
Suddenly, there is a distant rumble, almost like an explosion. The three look into the distance and through the haze of the heat, an outline can be seen of a figure. Then the following captions show up on screen:
“Master of Keyblade”
Speculation suggests this refers to the characters holding the Keyblades. Maybe they are fighting to find the true master?
“The Lost Two”
A popular belief is that this is commenting on two soldier characters who followed the path of darkness, using the Keyblade.
“Memory of Xehanort”
Possibly the biggest hint in the trailer. This almost reveals that the next game will deal largely with Xehanort’s lost memories from before he met Ansem.
“Chasers”
The name we are giving the soldiers right now. It is very vague.
“Keyblade War”
May be a war that has passed or is coming. We believe it is the reason Xehanort loses his memory and it may in fact be the war to discover who the real Keyblade Master is.
The final text says, “It all begins…with birth by sleep.”
This is very unknown, some believe it is another kind of Nobody or a story created while Sora was asleep for one year.
END QUOTE
Now all this is plausible, but I’m now more interested in the ruin that completely disappears in the same way Kairi, Riku, and Destiny Islands disappear in the KH2 intro, while the first armoured soldier is approaching the Keyblades. Coolman, also note that there is dawn, which could be Kairi as she could wield a Keyblade in KH2. On a separate note, there’s mention on another comments section on this site that Sora is one of the chasers, but I’ve yet to confirm it. As for the “It all begins with birth by sleep” bit, isn’t it possible that it’s talking about the birth of Roxas, who I realise was created when Sora became a heartless, but only “existed” after Sora started sleeping, and he existed in a second Twilight Town, which was also created by Sora sleeping.
on 19 Oct 2006 at 2:14 pm 93. coolman
no riku do you know the name of the kings blade?
it´s the dark realm key…
also tha the way to dawn is another name for the twiligth road
on 19 Oct 2006 at 1:34 pm 92. Riku
Just a small thing, wouldn’t Riku be the dark one and Mickey be the Twilight. Riku was taken over by the darkness not King Mickey, so I would find that more logical. A good idea though, but if there’s a keyblade war, that either means that everyone’s fighting over who gets the Keyblade(s) or that everyone’s fighting with a Keyblade. The secret ending could just be a flashback to the Keyblade War if Sora’s going to be the main character as I highly doubt time-travel will exist within Kingdom Hearts.
on 19 Oct 2006 at 1:11 pm 91. stainless
u kno wat, that’s possible. u might be rite, cuz’ the keychains u get throughout the game changes the keyblades form and power so ya u may be right.
