Kingdom Hearts 3 news
Well, the news about Kingdom Hearts 3 is still limited I’m afraid. What we do know, however, is that Tetsuya Nomura is planning and working on a new Kingdom Hearts game, though it appears likely that this game will not be the numbered sequel “Kingdom Hearts III”, but rather another adventure entirely.
It is likely, therefore, that the game Kingdom Hearts 3 might not be released for a few years to come, but there is likely to be another game or other games in between to satisfy our Kingdom Hearts desires!
Please comment if you have ideas, rumours, suggestions, or information about Kingdom Hearts 3 or any other Kingdom Hearts game!

The whole idea of the secret ending to “Kingdom Hearts 2″ being in the past is a great one. I would love to learn were exactly the Keyblade came from and why it was so importent. If the game was more of a prequel then a sequel like you say, then the game may also explain why the heartless are so terrified of the Keyblade. And about Sora being in Super Smash Brothers: Brawl, that would be so amazing. Since Sora was in a Nintendo game (Chain of Memories) and since Square-Enix has been making quite a few games for Nintendo recently, it would make perfect since if they did put Sora into SSB Brawl. Finally, a movie of Kingdom Hearts would be great. But it should be in CGI instead of real actors or hand drawn (like cartoons). Let’s just hope they don’t mess it up like they did with “Final Fantasy: Spirits Within”.

Well, I think a Kingdom Hearts for PSP would be pretty cool, if they did it right. But I think it might be better for a DS. We’ve all experinced “Chain of Memories” (or at least I did), and found out how great it was in its unique way. Although, if Square-Enix tried to make Kingdom Hearts for DS 3-Dimensional, I don’t think it would work, since the DS doesn’t have great graphics. It would have to be in a 2-D format, but still have great graphics (kinda like the new 2-D Mario games coming out for the DS). A PSP would be the ideal Portable Sytem if Square-Enix wanted to make a portable Kingdom Hearts with 3 Dimensional format. I don’t really think PSP would be a good choice though. First of all, I can’t afford to get one. Second of all, even the PS2 Magazines have been bashing the PSP. All the glitched and games and what not. But things do get better with time, so who knows.

I’ve never felt the way I did towards a game EVER the way I felt for Kingdom Hearts. In fact, I rarely ever played video games for that matter, espically RPG’s for that matter. I found them to confusing and hard. But when I came across Kingdom Hearts (by complete accident), I fell in love with the game and story. Kingdom Hearts actually got me into RPG’s. And videogames, for that matter.

in kingdom hearts the first game, in neverland if you go to the clock tower after sealed the keyhole for hollow bastion there is this ghost cloak heartless, he has this power to rip your hearts out, first peter’s then goofy’s or donald’s then yours, so watch out.

Hey guys, I got this new rumor. Comment back on what you think of this. In the secret ending to “Kingdom Hearts 2″, when all the lines are going by, there is one line that caught my attention. It stated this: “Memory of Xehanort”. What does this mean exactly? Well, here is what I think. The story takes place just before KH1 and deals with Xehanorts lost memories before he meets Ansem. Also, the characters are keyblade masters from different paths. Tell me what you think of this rumor. Tommorow I will post another one.

I have a PSP an i would LOVE a KH game 4 it but other tha that a movie would sound good not one that would go in theatre but maybe a DVD like they did with FFVII. ANYWHO it would be difficult to make a psp game cuz it doesnt have L2 or R2 buttons.

I didn’t think it was in the past either, I thought it was in the future, because Sora, Riku, and King Mickey’s keyblade are in the middle of all those other blades, so I thought maybe they moved on and now there were new keyblade wielders. Just a thought, but yeah it would be great if they had another KH.

Also in the video, the three unknown characters look a lot like characters in FF Tactics and the new FF 12 game. I think they’re called Judges they use spears/lances. Another thing that I saw was at the end of the Secret Clip was a mysterious character who looked a lot like one of the organization 13 member, looked like a shrouded person.

Hey I want to say something to the guy who hated sephiroth. I hear ya. I t took me a whole god dang month to beat him. I don`t know about you guy but if i can`t beat an enemy on the second day I start to get pissed off.About the next kh game. I would realy like for it to be on the psp or the ps2 cause I don`t have enough money to get a DS. But I got into kh by just looking at the cover and loved it at the first minute. But I really think they should a movie of it like Advent Children. There are things in the secret ending for KH3 that have to be counted also. The first person is most likely a male. The second person walking towards him is a female. You can see that in her slim figure, height, and the way she moves. The third person picks up Riku’s keyblade. It’s hard to tell if its a male or female. Also the third person is shorter then the first and we all know that Riku is older then Sora. Also the first person picks up another Keyblade. That Keyblade has a gold handle (Like Soras)

Well, i hope they will work on both the side story/prequel and kh3. I think sora still have a lot of things to do to let him rest, all the worlds were one, maybe thats the whole point of this keyblade buisness. surely, everyone knows that and i hope that kh will end with sora in a trilogy, and marry kairi, they got to, i like romance, and it won’t be an rpg without them loving each other. According to Nick Magazine, Pixar will join the cast, along with their Incredible friends. That’s right! There will be an Incredibles world. Kingdom Hearts 3 is also confirmed to be set on the past. I’m telling the truth.

Lol to you guys whining about 10 tries…. only 10? it took me a lil while longer, but i can’t say that it took anywhere near a month.. just a lil leveling up and getting used to how fast he moves.. no more than 2 days i think. anyway i think there should defenitely be a sequel or a prequel whatever i’m not picky just give me more to eat up my college summers ^.^ _BUT_!!!! it should be on PS2 or the PS3 when it comes out… preferably the PS2 so i won’t have to wait until i have enough money to buy both a new system _and_ the game.

you want to know how to beat sephiroth. its easy, i took him like 2-3 days to figure out his moves. My character lvl was like around 70-80. and the mode i was playing was proud mode. it was hard to beat him, so you have to lvl up your forms!! thats how i beat him too easy and too weak ^^ i love this game im too pro for it. take your forms up to lvl 7, this will beat sephiroth took like since the 4th day. thats how i beat sephiroth.
PS level up forms and your character it will be easy for you^^

didnt you get the ending from KH2. if you didnt get the ending, then you should get it. it looks like you didnt get the ending saying that in this comments. think about that. from the trailer in KH2, those are different characters from the past or future. just think about that. its not gonna end at KH2. KH3 will come out a few years so they gonna make a series or something.
ps. those who dont have the secret ending, play the game in standard mode or beat the game in proud mode just get all the keyholes

Hey guys this is Tanner. I have good news and bad news. Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming out next year in September. Bad news is that it will be for the ps3. KINGDOM HEARTS 3 ….. Years before Sora’s adventure, there was a great war. In a place between worlds, there were those known as “Chasers”, those who had manifested great power and chanelled it through weapons they experly crafted known as the Keyblades. There were four Chasers.
The Chasers all had to power to create, save, destroy and lock world’s hearts. Their keyblade gave them enough power to unlock the energy of a worlds physical heart and be able to move from world to world.
The Chasers began to follow their own ambitions. In the place between worlds, where all of their keyblades laid to rest, the four seperated. Two followed the path of light, bringing life to the worlds, following the paths of Light and Twilight. The other two, they grew unhappy and decided that those who did not respect them should perish. They followed the path of Darkness. They began to bring destruction to worlds, destroying them.
One of the two Dark Chasers realized the faults in his ways and decided to back out. Much as Riku did, this Chaser follows the path of Dawn back to the Crossroads where he is forgiven for his ways. The final Chaser, the one they called Xehanort, would not give up, would not give in. The war began, it is unknown for how long this terrible time lasted. It has been recorded though and the Chasers are much like gods.
The war was either between great armies or just between the four Chasers, either way, the Dark Chaser, the Dark Keyblade Master known as Xehanort fought against the others in a great Keyblade war.
Xehanort was defeated, and with that, he lost something dear: his memory. Cast away he was born again by sleep. Waking up in the world of Radiant Garden, almost dead, a great Saint known as Ansem found him and offered his assistance. He promised to help him and when he realized the man’s memory was gone, he offered to help restore it.
The Chasers each had the ability to spread their power to a disciple or their spirits lived on through a bloodline or chosen ones. Passing their power on to make sure to Order of the Worlds was kept safe.
One Keyblade went to the King of all the Worlds: Mickey.
When Xehanort began to believe he was in fact Ansem, his fascination with the Keyblades grew. Unknowning even to himself who he was.
When the Heartless were born and began to create chaos, Riku was chosen to weild the next Keyblade, to save the people from destruction while Mickey was in the World of Darkness. But, Riku’s heart was tainted by his willingness to let darkness overcome him and the Keyblade was passed on to Sora.
After being selected first and later overcome by Xehanort, Xehanort was able to harvest his power to reclaim his Dark Keyblade and thus, Riku was able to have his own.
The final Keyblade was unnecessary until later, when the goodness and innocence of Kairi was able to bring hope to the other Keyblade Weilders and she too was chosen.
Roxas only had ones because he is an element of Sora.
After their adventures had ended, Mickey sends a troubling letter to Sora, Kairi and Riku. A letter that reveals Xehanort’s next plot. That he has perhaps remembered his true self. A plot to destroy the other Chasers, a plot to be the one and only Keyblade Master.
A great beast is sent to the Crossroads between worlds but is slain by one of the Chasers. The others appear from their selected paths and reclaim their Keyblades, as though they haven’t been touched in a long time. They look to the road of Darkness and the shady figure of Xehanort moves forward. Through his time within Riku, he is essentially “reborn” and while Riku tries to remove him, he is never gone. With enough power he returns to the Crossroads and a great war is about to begin once again. One that will decide the fate of the Chasers and all of those who hold a Keyblade.

Nomura said that he’s already drawn the faces of the 3 armored figures( in the end of kh2) and thought of names for them. he also said that they aren’t sora, riku or kairi but that doesn’t mean that “they have connections with them”. so i think that sora and co. are going 2 b in kh3.

if u take the “x” out of xehanort’s name and rearrange the letters, it spells “no heart” or “another”. all of the organization XIII’s names are similiar; if u take the x out and rearrange the letters, u get their name when they were human. like roxas’ name without the “x” is roas, and then rearrange the letters it’s “sora”. kool, huh?

i think its going to be “Kingdom Hearts The Moive”, the title i think. They should make it right now since KH3 will come out in a few years. KH3 will be a big world in my opinion. Remeber that time in KH1 where Ansem was a Nobody, i think the organization (All of them will be a Nobody) in my opinion. SE and Disney, I think they going to make it hard, that be cool. I hope they make it really hard so that Sora can wield 2 keyblades in hand.

Well if its in the past it sort of can’t have much orignal actors since I heard the game will have all new characters. (Except I presume Xahowhathisname) since they have his name in the secret movie. I have a hunch that the three people with Sora, Riku and the third keyblade are going to be the main characters.
Don’t think it’ll be the same as KH with Sora though.

Kh3 should have sora,Donald,Goofy,Riku,Kiari,and King Mickey their like legends.It should have the rebirth of the Evil Keyblade Masters. kingdom hearts 3 should follow the story. maybe ansem, since he died in kingdom hearts 2, his soul got captured by the darkness and brang him back to life, but since he was brought back by darkness, he is consumed in darkness an pure evil. and i believe we’ve had enough games where kiari and rikku are kid napped, so how aboutking mickey is kid napped. this is just for thought and i havent seen th preveiw of kingdom hearts 3, so if any one knows a link to the preveiw, email me.

If Kingdom Hearts 3 is about past make the story that it had a keablade war and so they made the world separate and the same time to stop heartless.
If Kingdom Hearts 3 is future the story can be like who is the strongest, chosen keblade in the world. And the one who is the strongest can wish once. 3 KNIGHTS — For the 3 knights, they are NEW characters but its unclear whether they’re the main players/characters since Nomura clearly stated that they are new and even has an idea of what they look like and what they’re names are (they are NOT Sora, Riku, or Kairi, but I’m NOT saying they’re NOT in the game or the main characters but they are NOT the 3 knights seen in this vid)…
*NEWS — a recent Japanese rumor (from a thread) revealed the names of the 3 knights (and that they are Soldiers of Light):
Musha - the female knight
Joufu- the male knight
Masurao - the other knight
SHADOWY FIGURE — For the shady figure at the end, some say its Xehanort, some say its Zexion, some say its Sora or Roxas [bizarre, but possible], but some believe it’s a new enemy [which some say is a Chaser mentioned in the vid (since it looks like its going after or “chasing” the 3 remaining knights from the keyblade war)]…
SETTING — It has also been speculated that it takes place in the past and at the same time it can be considered to take place in the future (Nomura stated this), and it could possibly be a recollection of Xehanort’s past memories [since he doesn’t seem to remember his past and in the end of the vid it mentions the Memory of Xehanort]…
SORA — Its uncertain whether Sora and the gang will be involved but seeing as to how they received a letter from King Mickey, it can prove that they may have another quest or “adventure”…
STORY — The story is believed to focus on the keyblade, its origins, its purpose and why, when or how it had been created…
XEHANORT — I can further prove that Xehanort can maybe even be a Master of the Keyblade….okay, we know that we fought Xehanort’s Heartless in KH1, and that his heartless took on a human form (keep this in mind), Nomura said that “Xehanort was about the only one who has a human-shaped Heartless.” Now, remember when Sora was turned into a Heartless, yet it wasn’t in human form, even if he had a strong heart…so if Xehanort was able to do this (maybe the only one) and Sora wasn’t, it could mean that Xehanort had a stronger heart (or maybe the strongest heart since he was about the only one to achieve this) which would mean that he was the most suitable Keyblade wielder (Master of the Keyblade)…
KEYBLADES — It would also seem that the sort of “prize” for winning the keyblade war would be the Kingdom Key, Mickey’s Key, and Riku’s Keyblade (they may be the most powerful and significant keyblades), seeing as those 3 Keyblades were in the middle of the crossroads, and the knights could have chosen any other surrounding Keyblade…

QUESTION — But the odd thing I don’t get is when the Soul Eater transformed into The Way to the Dawn Keyblade in present time (KH2), how could this Keyblade exist in the past? (unless the Soul Eater was originally a Keyblade given to Riku by Xehanort, or Riku travelled back in time XD)
ZEXION — As for Zexion, I would think that he or his original self “Ienzo” will probably be in the next KH game since Nomura said, ” I have an idea on what his weapon is and I might have a chance of showing it in the near future so I’ll keep it as a secret for now.” We all know that Zexion never used his weapon in a fight and his gravestone was destroyed purposely to keep it a secret (for a reason)…

I think KH3 will focus in on a lot of the above comments but, if you think back to some of the comments and dialogue in the games it says there are 2 histories 4 the keyblade. One saved the world and the brought upon chaos… maybe this is the story of the two tales or just the chaos one. Another point is that in KH2 when u r fighting Xigbar he says that Sora (or Roxas) isn’t half the hero the others were. Maybe the Organization has fought previous generations of Keyblade Masters? i unno i think those 3 knight like figures sort, or protect the keyblades in the graveyards after they’ve served their purposes. like guardians. as for the figure in the sandstorm or whatever who knows. thats why the pick up the three keyblades, to sort them or whatever. i doubt it’s anything more than that. the main knight looks like he’s holding one big ass keyblade as well guarding the damn place. another thing is that the story wasn’t layered as well as it was in the first kh. i mean it’s a crap load of disney then some hints as to the main kh story, then more disney crap. i ean i don’t mind the disney crap but i had it figured out from DiZ’s hints that roxas was his nobody and the town was a fake. they did a better job with the main keyblade story in the first one. the second seemed more like exploitation. lets hope the third’s more like the first one and the disney-ness isn’t so overwhelming.

its me again! the first person who posted for this forum! (who cares?) sorry to disappoint you but tetsuya said he will not make a kh movie for several reasons. one, he wouldnt be able to fit the story into a movie. two, he is extremely stressed for time making kh games. three, he would have to do 100s of licensing between companies like disney. four, it would destroy the kh series if it wasnt a hit. five, its rating would have to be pg 13 due to realistic violence which disney will not allow. need more?

i think kh 3 is a sure sequel and sora will be there cuz when i frst played kh 2 it started with roxas and i bet every one was confused abt it but later we did get sora and the others. the secret ending probably shows the past or future but in kh2 sora did travel into the past when merlin opened a portal to the past- my theory the king asks sora to come back becuz as earlier mentioned xehanort probably still exist and he has alies from the past or future who can weild keyblades.

I’ve just finished reading every single comment –here xD [143] hAhA.
Anywho, I see a lot of people who are going for the main based upon main; but I don’t think, with just the main characters leading on the story will actually geeeet the story anywhere, it just won‘t get Kingdom Hearts going anywhere and arousing a great hit -if Sora just does the same old heroism routine.
Many are going for the COMMON romance fantasizing events that occurs in almost any story out there for anything, which IS sOo lame (no offense). Yeah though -that’s a natural thought of butterflies to roam around in your tummie, but hey! It’s the video game industry and get on with the story -not the stars! They wouldn’t want to just bring in new Disney characters and new adventures, having Sora now it all on his own. Same goes for Riku and Kairi. They’re the stars to begin with, but the story needs to be getting somewhere. It can’t -just with them.
Kingdom Hearts will truely be Kingdom Hearts, even without Sora being as a playable character, or any other we know of. That’s just an icon thought. We still don’t know much of Kingdom Hearts; so here comes the other side of the story. May I repeat, Sora was there to begin with -yes., but there is more than what fell upon him, that meets the eyes. So we’re going beyond what he and others may know. Kingdom Hearts III may be playing in more than one perspective… Sora still -perhaps mainly the orgin of Chasers. Interesting…
I’m of course –still anxious, but Tanner DID say that Kingdom Hearts III is releasing next year in September. Ignore everyone who says, “In a few years.” That just hits us where it really hurts xD

Square Enix and Disney would profit a whole lot from making a movie based off KH 1 and 2. They would also get a whole lot of money from another game, but so far the rumours haven’t made me to keen on how its going to end up. In KH2 they ended it weird and they made it look like there would be a sequal. The graphics they have shown online for the third one are really nice, but entirely different from the actual games. I think they should clear up what happened in the last kingdom hearts with the whole letter, before they go making this keyblade war or whatever it is. Otherwise it kind of leaves doors left unopened and that would be a real disapointment.

Oh yeah… I read that scanlation you have posted up… about the amusement park, I had that in one of my zines tOo. It says grand opening near the end of March… what year though? Like the final fantasy games, I believe Kingdom Hearts should be created into a movie. So far the movies seem to turn out pretty successful and were not a disapointment. Kingdom hearts has already been turned into a manga, so a animated film is the next step…maybe. The storyline is always excellent, as is the graphics and the characters. And of course im happy that sora and riku made it back home with kairi in the thrid one but…it just felt so rushed. I exspected SO much more! And it was a little bit of a letdown. BUT-I still have complete fath in the game and its makers, whatever they do im completely behind it. Whether is a sequel or a prequel, whatever, it will still work out well. Last but not least the website looks great, it really is coming along nicely-good work to the creator.

KH3 may have something to do with Organization XIII, and I found some proof.
In an interview with the creater, he was asked what Zexion’s element and weapon were because they were not revealed in CoM or KH3. He said he wanted to keep it a surprise. If he wants to surprise us with that, he’s going to have to bring the Organizaiton back.
Also, if Maleficent and (god help us) Oogie Boogie didn’t stay dead, I don’t see why characters that are one hundred times more popular are going to stay dead. I’m thinking they are either going to come back in their old Nobody forms or maybe even their old human forms for the sequel. Organization XII could also make a comeback if the game takes place in the past. This is just my theory.

Hay i just finished reading all the comments and boy does it take long. Anywho, I would first like to say that everyones comments are great but i was wondering about the Kh 3 being on ps3?? I’ve heard rumors..and a couple ppl stated that on here already so i was just wondering. Anyway In Kh3 I think that they should make it about the letter that Sora, Riku and Kairi read at the end ( some what anyway) because that really left me hanging. I’d like to see the characters from Kh 1 and 2 come back but it would be awesome to be able to fight as Riku also. I think that the new Kh should lead on a whole new adventure with new worlds but it would crush me to see the characters that I love just fade away.
In the secret ending where the three people grab those keybalades kind of confused me. I hope that thats not Sora Riku and Kairi in shinny armor…maybe its the protectors of keyblades and light…maybe they’re there to try and destroy something..i dunno..the whole thing gave me chills. I would like to see a completely new game done with the same love and emotion put into Kh because it was so well created. In the Kh3 I think that there should be less of the little mermaid and mulan..and more radiant garden..Hollow bastion, mikeys castle, and twilight town and traverse town. I think the original ideas and new worlds not made from Disney but created to show us new places and worlds would be cool. ( dont get me wrong i love the Disney worlds)
Also I think they should make Kh like they made FF. I would like to see this game spread out into a number of games all dealing with different choices and roles. This game is so amazing, i couldnt bare to see it end at Kh3. Oh and one last thing…before , i said that the Kh3 should deal with the letter that the king gave to Sora, Riku and Kairi…but i also see that ppl wanted it to be longer. I agree.. if you could begin the game with and explanation or make the game based on that but change the adventure and go with another story line,( but stay with the ideas of the organization and the hearts and heartless) meaning please dont make me fight the same characters again, but dont loose the main characters completely and add to the game so that ppl like me, that it only takes like a week to finish the game,( yah not including going back right before the big fight and trying to get as powerful as you can ) can have some more to do. Xehanort has no memory because he is a nobody of someone else… which is quite possibly he somebody self which is a scambled version of noheart… so maybe his lost memory is that of his somebody self who faught in a past war…

Hi i´m from portugal and here KH2 didn´nt arrive yet but I played the japanese version and when I saw the secret ending I could not belive. I read most of the coments and one thing is certan: a new game based in KH world will be made!!!!!!
abaut the supositions I think thatKH 2 was left in a way that the story might continue, but what our japonese fellow are saying about that is that if this new game will be a sequel it will be passed in a future a little bit far, were the actual characters would be most older. the idea of a war of keyblades could be put in this theory (the characters would live a situacion of war). I like that idea because things would get more grown up, more interesting and serious. in this way the 3 people in the secret ending could be some of characters of KH2. personaly I think that is 1 boy and 2 girls but i´m not certain and don´t want to risk saying who they might be because, I have no clue.
The action could take place in the past, but I think that is more appealing a story of future of the world of KH than a story of the past because everybody would like to know what happens to sora, kayri and riku and what was written in the letter of mickey.
the possibility that this new KH will be on PSP and PS2 is faint. there´s no reason for them not to make on PS3. it´s a better platform whith a great potencial and frankly I would like very much to see a KH with the graffics that I saw in FF XIII.
the price of PS3 won´t be a problem because when they release This new KH the price will be lower. and I think that 2007 is to early to the game go out, it´s more certin at the end of 2008 and in japan! so we have plenty of time, it´s better to just relax and have faith!!!!

Ohh nooos! I don’t want different characters :[ I like Riku Kairi and Sora. They should atleast make the 3rd one with them, because if not, I’ll be mad, along with others I bet. Pfft. Is it just me or is nearly everyone repeating themselves over & over again? There is not going to be a movie-FACE IT someone already gave perfectly good reasons stating this! And Sora etc won’t be the main characters- deal with it! Won’t it be better if we had a different main character? That’s what’s so good about the Final Fantasy games! Different characters, different worlds, changes people! Which is why everyone loves the series- Square-soft make it fresh you know? I for one would be delighted with new worlds and characters! Might attract more fans (who haven’t already been won over)
And about the console- I for one hope it will be on the ps3 because better graphics! And about it being out next year? Please. As much as we all hate to admit it Raijin is right, ya know.The PS3 would give Square Enix’s already dazzling CGI some huge props.The new characters are almost assuredly gonna be new so why dont we all just accept it and live out the rest of our 4 years without constantly wondering. ok.. i have been reading all of these comments and i came across someone who said that there will be a KH3 on the PS3 .. and she said she saw the game on the site and stuff. Well, that is fake, just to clear that up with you. Nomura said that he hasnt even written the storyline down yet for the game! and he is working on the new FF’s. That information that you guys found is all false. As much as i want a KH3 to come out, we still dont know much about it because KH2 JUST CAME OUT! I think it´s good to “dream” about a Kh3 and say how it will be, but i´m with Quinn (190). That´s the reality now. And saying things that might lead others to a false hope it´s not nice.
Continue saying what you want for the next KH adventure because we will never known if one of the guys that work at Squarenix might read your comment and think it´s a good idea.

OK….. i absolutly love the Kingdom heart Series…. although i did not play Chain of Memories…… every time a new KH gmae comes out i think of it and the video game OLYMPICS….. a new one comes every 4 years..(well thats what happened from the 1st to 2nd game)……. yes i am a girl and im not that good at video games….. but this game turned me on to RPG’s like dragon quest and Final Fantasy’s….
