Kingdom Hearts 3
The future of the Kingdom Hearts series is, as we are all aware, still unclear.
However, knowing both Square-Enix and Disney, the huge popularity of the PlayStation 2 games Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2 would tend to indicate that series is not to end with Kingdom Hearts 2.
It is for this reason that we have created this Web site; a site we hope will be able to bring readers news and rumours about the series, aiming particular focus on the future of the series. Thusly, we have named our site “Kingdom Hearts 3″, in anticipation of the next Kingdom Hearts title being named Kingdom Hearts 3.

How about this. Stich world. They had him as a summon, why not go to his world.

Liege: After the trailer was shown disney representatives gave an interview and commented it on being a CONCEPT VIDEO of what TR2N would be like. If Disney does decide to move ahead with the sequel then the director and writers of the video that was released will be writing and directing at this time. Right now it looks like Disney is going ahead with production of the film however hasn’t began yet. However until they actually begin making the film then don’t think it’s set in stone. A perfect example of this is the Soul Calibur movie. The studio made website for the movie and put up a teaser trailer for the film however the project never got underway and the film was to be released 06-07. Also the same goes for KH3. Until the game is announced to be in production don’t even begin to think it is coming out. A perfect example of this is Chrono Break the purposed third installment of Square’s Chrono series. The said that they were/are intending on making a sequel to the game series however all they did was get the name Chrono Break copyrighted and that is all they did with it. This game would have been released on the PS1/PS2 however they never officially announced it’s production only hinted at it. So until it goes into production don’t begin to think it is a definite thing.

There’ve been a handful of subtle — and some not-so-subtle — hints (directly from Nomura and other ‘officials’) that it is, and has been for a little while, actually.
Plus, it’s kinda common-sense. =P

… the video showcased was a ‘teaser’, not ‘concept’ (Jeff Bridges, anyone?), proceeding the official-announcement. It also concluded with the obligatory tagline of ‘Coming Soon’. Well, it was more along the lines of ‘The Sequel The World’s Been Waiting For: Coming Soon’.
So, yeah, it’s definitely coming; just a question of when, really.

Also anything pertaining to KH3 that isn’t an official announcement of the game being in production can be considered false. If remember correctly Halloween Town will be appearing in 358/2 Days and Coded. So that would mean there not done with the world yet. Also Disney has yet to say that they are making TR2N. The video released about it was a concept video. They don’t know if they are actually going to do it. And Yes I did read the 100% complete unconfirmed rumor part. I’m just giving feed back on why those rumors are probably 100% false.

Wow. Japanese-Forums can be such a rich source for information (and by that, I mean 100% unconfirmed-rumours; you’ve been warned).
Here’s the latest…
- ‘Port Royal’ will indeed return, and the ‘World-Scenario’ will follow the storylines of both ‘Dead-Man’s Chest’ & ‘At World’s End’ (possibly even the upcoming fourth-installment, as well). Which means… DAVY JONES! w00t!!
- Same thing applies for ‘Space-Paranoids’, which will closely mirror the plot of the forthcoming TRON-II (and it’ll still reside within the confines of Hollow-Bastion/Radiant-Garden’s CyberSpace… but possibly accessible from other areas [Worlds], too?).
- Speaking of which, HB/RG will supposedly be fully refurbished by the time KH-III rolls around (which doesn’t entirely make much sense, chronologically-speaking…). However, it’ll appear far different than its ‘classic’-iteration in ‘Birth-by-Sleep’.
- Oddly enough, there’s also mention of both ‘Castle-Oblivion’ & ‘The World That Never Was’ returning. The former makes more sense than the latter, but I’m not complaining about either one.
Ah, those wacky-Japanese. =P

Possibly, I mean it will probably be the same time between release dates as was with the first two Kingdom heart games.
Could be longer due the fact there sending out 358/2 days and Birth by sleep.

Xigbar@Zexion: It wont be for the PS2. Nomura has said that KH2FM+ was the game that he was releasing for the PS2. In fact the PS2 game talk coming out of Square is ReCoM being released State side and that game was released with KH2FM back in 07.

sora@roxas rule: Besides Nomura has already stated in an interview that none of these side games are KH3. He said if they were KH3 then they would call it KH3. He has also stated that each of these 3 games are to give clues to future KH game, in other words KH3.

KH3 will be for the PS3 and for the PS2. that is my thought on that.
Birth by sleep will be on the PSP, just as 358/2 days will be on the DS. everybody got that down.
