Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
Part of the new installements of the Kingdom Hearts series, the untold story of Roxas while Sora was asleep, the game focuses on the daily life of the Organization 13 Main headquarters (Xemnas, Xighbar, Saix, Demyx, Xaldin, Axel and Roxas) and how was Roxas of that time, the game its after Kingdom Hearts Chain Of Memories, thats why some gamers had call the game “Kingdom Hearts Chain Of Memories 2″ since is coming for the DS too. The title “358/2″ will explain itself once you had beat the game. The story is about how long Roxas stayed on Organization 13. As well as his battle with Riku in the secret ending “Deep Dive” of Kingdom Hearts 1.
Trailer Descryption:
We are introduced with the scene where Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories had came to an end, and are then confronted with the phrase “The other side attached to Sora still sleeps”, along with “The mind comes back whenever they touch.”
The video then focuses upon Roxas and Axel, sitting atop the clock tower in Twilight Town. This seems to be the same scene from Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+. Soon after, the video shows Roxas being invited into Organization XIII. He is being greeted by all, and introduces himself, and they do the same to him. Then the scene fades into Roxas actually joining the Organization.
Following this is a short clip of Mickey talking about Axel, and Saix near Roxas. Roxas is shown pulling out both of his keyblades, and it moves into gameplay. The gameplay confirms indifenatley that you may play with Roxas, Axel, Saix and Xigbar.
Xemnas then mentions something very interesting. He explains that a 14th member has joined their Organization, and that this member is female. This scene is quickly followed by the title of the game: “Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days” and a whsipering Roxas saying “I will disappear from this world in 151 days”

Amazon.com is announcing the release of the game in the US on August 30th, 2009. They are taking pre-orders.

That is only a tentative release date. They don’t know when the exact game is going to be released in America yet. They only put that date because the released is expected to be in the third quarter of this year.

Sigh… I put a post up for when the game wazs supposed to come out-SInce I work at a gamestop in Avon IN- Its street-dated to 9-11-09 so way into fall. I put a long post up actually. ABOut 2 months ago but god knows where that went…. Sdated does not mean the actual day of release. It usually DOES mean however that the game will come out after the Street Dated time. SO the earliest we’ll see this game is in late fall of this year. GS is taking preorders both online and on-site. I reserved this game 2months ago. It will be a costly game-(considering most ds games only reach 29.99) I’m sorta surprised this board is still up considering the game is already being preordered. On page 33 I put a post about how Nommy might use a completely different kind of entity as an ‘after form’ a form made only after losing a heart but with the purest of intentions. It might be worth looking into. Since Sora did sacrifice his. It may ahave lead to a form of pureness. I’m sorta miffed that ‘Sora did not lose his heart he used it to release kairi’s’ post. HOnestly I hate goin into detail about a fact most KH fans should know and save myself the 3 extra sentences that go along with doing so.
BTW Its absolutely ridiculous to keep saying Xion(any other new character with no direct correlation to past games) is/is not a heartless/nobody of ‘insert name here’. At this point its very likely a new ‘race’ of beings will be made. And that like nobodys and heartless; these being will be created from someone losing a heart. But unlike-
heartless-weak and darkened hearts
and nobodies-strong but averagely intentioned hearts:
a new creature would be born who has an abnormally pure disposition from the loss. Maybe under a selfless act they lost they’re heart and were extremely strong and pure-EX:Kairi/other 6 princesses.
This would add a great new substory. And inturn would widen the scope of the KH world. I think I speak for all the fans when everyone thought the ‘hooded figures aka nobodie’ was some kind of heartless aka other common category. But Nommy blew us away with the expansion of ‘nobodies’ and the way they were created thus expanding the storyline and giving a bigger depth to kh. I’ve looked on almost every kh website and found no one else expressing this very new but exciting thought (or atleast anyone who talks about it) Why keep us stuck on the same old tune when nommy could definitely spice up the game with something like this?
This is a small thought that should definitely be explored and hopefully others share my enthusiasm for a ‘divine’ creature being brought to the kh series.

STOP NITPICKING AT SMALL UNIMPORTANT DETAILS.
Its sounds silly when people say ‘There is no KH3′ And ‘Duh there is a KH3′ I type on a computer all day you really want me to type Birth by Sleep/358/2 Days every time? I say Kh3 because the next installment is the third not because it is/is not the title. And when did ‘have a heartless/make a heartless’ become an issue? Like I said before; it sounds like some people are tirelessly combing over old subjects and when they find something slightly amiss they point it out even though every person on this board should no I meant- the creation of a heartless in general. Please don’t try to say I don’t know what I’m talking about-I’m just like every other 19 year old on a computer who has tons of thoughts but little time and energy to type them ALL correctly. And its a little outrageous to ask to read posts more than 1-2 pages back.
The whole idea of boards is to put out your ideas first-then discuss/comment about someone elses. I have no intention of reading posts 3 pages ago unless specifically asked and quite frankly no one else would like to and who is coming up with better and ‘new’ topics anyways(unless you include bickering about one small thing to then next a change of topic)

The keyblades are not fakes-Unless you can find me an official statement that Nommy specifically states-
“They are fakes.”
I stand by the opinion that they are replica’s of Sora’s own keyblades forged as a by-product EXACTLY like Roxas himself. Its like cars-
The first mold of a car will be the same as the 2000nd mold of that car but that does not make that 2000nd car the same car as the first.
Nobodies-Even the weapon(s) they wield are only former shells to their ‘others’.
AS for who wields a keyblade at what time- I honestly believe the keyblade is called upon at the will of the wielder. It does not have to be someone with a pure heart-But someone with a strong heart. We saw that Riku WAS able to take and use the keyblade and was only overpowered by sora’s will to wield it(if not for a better purpose) But Riku had already started turning towards the darkness and still called the keyblade with success.
I’ve heard from somewhere-(Ansem’s Reports/don’t quote me)
That Riku was chosen as the orginal wielder of the keyblade. Not Sora. But the keyblade chose Sora because his heart was both strong and (for lack of words) pure.
And this whole thing about-
Has to have a pure heart to wield a keyblade can be proven wrong in a couple of fashions.
1. The reason above-Riku called upon the keyblade and wielded it (even if briefly) He would not have gotten it at all if a ‘pure heart’ was needed/his from what I gather was tainted by the darkness.
2. The prophecy in the recent trailer for BBS. If you watch the trailer with translations it says that-
One wielder would use the keyblade for good the other for bad.
(roughly translated/Also in the Report)
If the keyblade could even for 2 seconds be used to ‘wrought chaos upon the world’
That really kicks the ‘pure heart’ theory to the curb.
A ‘pure heart’ was never needed to wield the blade. If anything a strong heart wielded the keyblade and then the intentions of the wielder would be considered(to some degree).
And since I’m guessing this will become a debate point-When I say averagely intentioned heart I mean a normal heart. I just know someone is going to say- Xemnas was not created from a dude with a ‘averagely intentioned heart’!!! He was EBIL!!!ROFL
A heart always has light and darkness-And even in real life the best of intentions can lead to the worst of evils.
Xehanort was,in a way, exactly like this-AT FIRST.
I know this board has been going forever-And honestly it looks like (in my opinion) an old outlet for even older theories Thus should probably be revamped or reduced in pages. I noticed that after my original post the NEXT post numbered all the things I supposedly said that weren’t right and said nothing about the idea the whole stinkin post was based on. If most of you are ‘die hard kh fans’ then please tell me why my original post was stupidly critiqued and then not spoken about when the next 3 pages were all about-
1. The previous comments being wrong in some way
2. About old theories and problems that really have little to do with anything but oddball facts.
3. Finely combed theories that still leave alot of questions.
WHO CARES IF THE KEYBLADES ARE REAL/GENIUNE?(Probably no-one) And if they are fake does it make a lick of diffrence in they’re function? (Probably not)
Look I like provin people wrong just as much as the next person. But does it matter if someone says- Radiant Garden or Hollow BAstion? Does it matter if someone says ‘Riku never had a heartless’ or ‘Riku never made a heartless’? I think the answer is simple enough. Everyone should know what you mean or infer to. ANd if they don’t shame on them for not being the ‘die hard fan’ they claim to be.

Ansem Report 9 - Defeat Captain Hook in Neverland
One story in particular caught my interest: that of a key called the “Keyblade.” The Keyblade is said to hold phenomenal power.
A legend says its wielder saved the world, while another says that he wrought chaos and ruin upon it. I must know what this Keyblade is. A key opens doors. It must be connected to the door I have opened.

This is of course from the first set of Ansem Reports done by Xeha. Does anyone see the ‘he wrought chaos and ruin upon it’ bit. Yeah…if there was even a view of such things happening with the keyblade we can pretty much say that you DON’T NEED A PURE HEART TO WIEL THE KEYBLADE!
Secondly what I find interesting is sooo many people are interested in the tiny ways Sora and Kairi’s hearts were merged and or diffused from eachother and most posts have said ‘Namine is not Kairi’s nobody.’

It appears that she gained this ability through being born by a special process.
Namine is a girl, but was a princess.
A long time ago, when I governed the “Radiant Garden”, one of the denizens was
“Kairi”, one of the seven princesses who support the world of light.
There was no Heartless born from Kairi, who carries no darkness in her heart,
and her body which should have disappeared remained in the world of light.
That is to say, in the case of the Nobody called Namine, both a Heartless as
evidence of a lost heart, and a body to act as the intermediary for the creation
of a Nobody are missing. She is an extremely unstable existence, and therefore
has no memories of Kairi.

I have formed a hypothesis.
I believe that Namine was born as a unique Nobody when Sora turned the Keyblade
on his own body and Sora and Kairi’s “hearts” departed his body at the same tme.
Namine was born as Kairi’s Nobody.
But to become a Nobody, Sora’s body and soul were used as an intermediary…

Do you see the first sentence of the last para? Nobody is used to describe Namine is a Nobody-albiet being a special one she is still a nobody. Secondly Namine is in a later paragraph called ‘an offshoot of Kairi’ and later is firmly stated as ‘Kairi’s Nobody’.Kairi is the ‘other’ of Namine and has NO HEARTLESS. NONE-END OF STORY.
So to put it lightly
A-Xion is not Kairi’s nobody.
B-Xion is not Kairi’s heartless(as stated in the reports her heart was void of darkness-there was no sufficient way of making one)
C-On a further note Kairi (it appears) did not originate from Destiny Island. She was actually a resident of Radiant Garden at one given time-But was sent off by Xehanort as part of an expirement to find a Keyblade Wielder. To-The oceans of other worlds. It does seem strange that this would not have been mentioned directly in the story line of the last 2 games (especially by Kairi herself)and the next report given shows that Xeha had finally completed the process of becoming a heartless. This would’ve been before Kairi got her heart back but after the start of Xehanort’s expirements and distaste from Ansem about the expirements.
D-The last several attempts at theorizing Xion being a heartless/nobody of Kairi were misenterpretations and at this point might as well be dropped.
E-Do you know how stupid I feel having to post this then make a point. Yeah…that stupid. Its sorta odd pushing a point that has been in the games own history since KH’s release. 7 years and we’re still on subjects that already have an answer to them….Scary.
No wonder Nommy is such a great game creator! Its because everyone is stuck in the -”IT HAS TO BE A NOBODY/HEARTLESS OF-Insert Person-!RAAARW!”rut.
I’m sorry for the 3 posted subject (this wouldn’t all fit in 2) hopefully I’m not coming off as arrogant. But it befuddles me that people seem to keep a very rigid line of thinking things will be in the next game(s) and don’t look outside the box. I’m not being a hypocrite by pointing out flaws in theories. I’m pointing out the theories themselves are flawed and have things to prove so not just my words.I’m guessing I’ll be called a Hypo anyways by someone…lol…
In all likeliness we will see a creature of light and in all likeliness it won’t be in 358/2 Days-Lets face it this game is a filler at best. Hopefully BBS will bring a new chapter and a fresh on look of the KH-Verse. Over and Out.
