Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep
The new installement of the Kingdom Hearts series for the PSP, explaining the deep past of Kingdom Hearts, we are introduced by 3 characters, Ven, Terra and Aqua, Ven has a relation with Sora, Ven means air, as Sora means wind, which are the same; Aqua means water, and Kairi means ocean, which leads the same to water; Terra means earth, as Riku has some relation with earth. The major playable character is Terra, seen in the scans. In the game, the world Hollow Bastion or better known as Radiant Garden will explain himself more. Disney characters will make an appereance here as well. The old man is an older version of Xehanort, the game itslef will show the gamers the Real Keyblade Master, as Tetsuya Nomura (Director) well explained on his interview.
Trailer Descryption:
Scenes of the ending of Kingdom Hearts 1 flash by on the screen, and two phrases are seen clearly onscreen. One reads “Deep Past” and the other “Shut-Eyes gives birth to the concealed fate.”
We are then confronted by a young boy who looks like Roxas conversing with another young boy with black hair. Their surroundings seem to resemble Hallow Bastion (Radiant Garden). The name “Ven” is thrown outward, referring to the boy who looks like Roxas.
The scene change various times before stopping at an iamge of the Old Man from the KH2FM+ secret ending. He is called “Master Xehanort” by Terra. Soon after, Terra summons his keyblade and the screen chandes.
Various worlds are shown, and one of which is familiar to us all. “Olympus Colliseum” is making another comeback, followed by a brand new world, that of which resembles Sleeping Beauty.
The video then changes back to Terra battling against a dark figure, whom you can tell is male. This is the same man from the Secretn Ending of KH2FM+, the one who the Old Man creates. Terra is able to forceably get the man’s helmet off, but his face is concealed.
King Mickey is shown summoning kis keyblde, and then the scene changes very quicly to Terra on a beach. He seems to be watching two boys play in the ocen. After he rests his weapon into the ground, the two boys he was watching are clearer and they look like Sora and Riku. Soon after, Terra says “Please don’t depend on me, just erase me… friend.

Master Ricky: Listen all I have to do is say what Nomura says. You can’t get around what he says and you can’ trump him. I don’t care who you bring on here. If Nomura says it’s rare then it’s rare. But to further prove to you that it takes a strong heart here is what Yen Sid says about the Nobodies:
Yen Sid: [*At times, if someone with a strong heart and will*]—be they evil or good—becomes a Heartless, the empty shell they leave behind begins to act with a will of its own.
Now here proof from the game that it takes someone with a strong heart to become a Nobody. So I’ve presented evidence from Nomura and from the game. Do we need to continue this discussion or will you concede?

well of course what he says goes but what yen sid said was that those with strong hearts made the org members nobodies the ones that could think for themselfs
and so did nomura and when you lose your heart the shell turns into a nobody the strange ocurances is the organization members nobodies the rest the just born for losing the heart

(Yen Sid waves a hand and an image of Donald appears near the wall. This image
then changes to a Shadow Heartless)
Yen Sid: If one such as you, Donald, yields to the darkness in their heart,
they too will become a Heartless. But you know this. The Heartless are always
lurking and ever seeking to capture new hearts. Never let your guard down! Now
then…
(Yen Sid waves his hand again and an image of a Dusk Nobody appears next to the
Shadow)
Yen Sid: At times, if someone with a strong heart and will—be they evil or
good—becomes a Heartless, the empty shell they leave behind begins to act
with a will of its own.
(The Shadow image disappears)
Yen Sid: An empty vessel whose heart has been stolen away… A spirit that goes
on even as its body fades from existence—for you see, Nobodies do not truly
exist at all. Nobodies may seem to have feelings, but this is a ruse—they
only pretend to have hearts. You must not be deceived!
Sora: Nobodies… They don’t exist…
(Two more images of Dusks appear around Sora)
Yen Sid: Now then…the being you see before you is known as a Dusk. They are
the most common form of Nobody. But there are others—some larger, some with
frightening and unique powers. Be vigilant! On your journey, you will meet an
alarming number of Dusks. They will all attempt to do you harm.
(The images vanish)
Yen Sid: Still, they are nothing but empty shells, destined to return to the
darkness. But—
(The wizard waves his hand again and images of figures in black appear in the
Dusks’ place. Sora, Donald, and Goofy look wary)
Yen Sid: The beings you see before you now are different. These powerful
Nobodies have formed a group called Organization XIII. It commands the lesser
Nobodies.
Now I’m going to go a step further and link you to the vid from the game to show you that it clearly states that only those with strong hearts become nobodies.

ok so after rereading a few intervies from nomura i found this
As for original masters, they who teach the methods of wielding the keyblade to their pupils, do they exist?
Nomura: Not just that, but also the role of keyblade users, since the thoughts of each master differs, it’s their spirit being taught. The reason why a master must train others to use the keyblade is explained in this game.
it might seem irrealivent but mabye when Terra and Ven are on the beach looking at Riku and Sora mabye they are watching possible future apprentices
So my theroy is Ven chose Sora to be his apprentice and when Ven said erase me mabye his spirit went to Sora just like how Nomura said that the masters are teaching their spirit.
How does Roxas look like Ven then, its simple it is said that when someone loses their heart their body and soul remain, so with Ven’s soul in Sora’s body his nobody took the form of Ven.

Keyblade Knight Terra: I would say that you’re 50% right with this theory. First it was only Terra watching Riku and Sora. Ven wasn’t with him. Second, Master Xehanort and TAV’s Master are in the game and not as spirits. They didn’t have to be erased to train their apprentices. Fourth, it is stated that if the soul is separated from the body then the heart and body give way to death. The whole purpose of the soul is to give life. Now Sora already has a soul so I doubt that Ven’s would go to Sora’s body.

wellhe could b right if the soul left the body then it goes somewhere else since it aint going to a body to make a nobody plause before that wasnt what happen so nobodys didnt exist so the soul had to go somewhere while the rest just dies remember that in this game there are strange things that act by themselves or with another part
but ive always wonder of what could the unbirths be made of i gwess that just like that theorie will just have to wait
but id give him a solid 65 since he went trought the interviews and he tried with full info

Er, thank you, Escape2God, but perhaps that comment would have been better posted on a Religious Chat Site rather than a video game forum.
Perhaps we should bring up some old topics if we can’t think of any other things to argue about, lol. One such thing being the obvious differences between the Kingdom Hearts 2 secret ending and the Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix+ secret ending. The capes are different and the antagonist figure in the KH2 is in a different stance than Master Xehanort in KH2FM+. So wouldn’t this suggest that they are set at different times? And this leaves the possibility open for the secret ending of KH2 to actually be a trailer for KH3 if the KH2FM+ secret ending is for BBS.
Sorry, just felt like bringing that back up.

Kiana_Ishido: Not really. Do you remember Another Side Another Story? In Another Side Another Story we see Riku remove the blindfold while still standing on top of the building, but when we watch Deep Dive he still has the blindfold on. These videos aren’t only scenes from the respective games, but also concept videos. Things are going to change between them and from the final product that ends up in the game.

Jinx: No, it’s actually a prequel to the first game. It is what the secret endigs of KH2 and KH2FM+ are about though. This game will be fore the PSP (PlaystationPortable)

well the master is Xehanort in BBS and he traines the up coming wielders but whyb is that he is also the bad guy i dont know or its alll part of practice

Master Ricky: It’s pretty much wrog. Reason one being that you said Master Xehanort trains the all new wielders. This is however wrong. There is more then one keyblade master. Master Xehanort has only one apprentice and that is the DS. TAV have a different master. Also the the trailers so King Mickey being trained by none other then Yen Sid. It was TAV’s Master that sends them after MX and his apprentice in the first place. Reason two is that Nomura and the trailers have confirmed that MX is after the PoH.

Master Ricky: There master really hasn’t come up in interview all that much. According the plot synopses released by Square for game and the plot on the BBS website TAV’s Master sent them to chase after Master Xehanort and his apprentice whose disappearance is said to foreshadow a great disaster. In an interview when asked if TAV’s Master was someone already introduced in the game series Nomura said “I cannot tell you this at this time.” This has led many to believe that Yen Sid could also be their master.

I had that suspition aswell, that both Yen Sid and TAV’s Master are the same, but in recent scans that I have seen, it seems that TAV’s Master is in a differnt world than Yen Sid. However, I could be wrong…

Well, what if the start of the Game, sees TAV training with their master- (like the tutorial) and then them passing and given the mission to hunt MX- they, report to their master to find he’s missing/murdered/gone far away to help some other crisis…

It Said in KH II that Yen Sid taught Mickey Magic, thats why Donald has so much respect for him. I don’t think that Yen Sid gave Sora the Star Seeker, because it only appered when Sora went into Valor form. Plus, in KHI we learn that the keyblade chooses it’s master- saying that, the rule is broken, because it is said that Terra ‘gave’ the KK to Riku.

Xebrem: Ok let point out something. When Mickey is training with Yen Sid he has the Starseeker keyblade. When Sora leaves Yen Sid’s tower he has the Star Seeker Keyblade. I don’t think it is just coincidence that they receive the same keychain from the same guy. He is probably a Keyblade Master. Now he isn’t giving out keyblades in like he has a bunch lying around. He gives them a specific keychain to allow them the use of the Starseeker keyblade.

He may have given a Keychain, but I don’t think he is a Keyblade Master, just a Master sorceries, teaching keyblade wielders magic, and how to use properly.
Though that is only my opinion, time will tell if he is a Keyblade master or not.

I have to agree with Xebrem on this debate. There’s no soubt Yen Sid is an important character (important enough to warrant Disney giving him their own name), but he’s known as a Sorceror, and, being the implied Wizard in Fantasia, tought Mickey sorcery.
big daddy c: Riku doesn’t have a nobody, since he didn’t lose his heart and become a heartless. He was only possessed by Xehanort and didn’t lose his heart in the process.

yen sid is known only as a sorcerer since for ever
what if the star seeker was a key given to mickey and sora for a certian time not that yen sid is a wielder but that he was given the power to choose them maeby, we dont know much of whats going on but one way or another i also dont think that yen sid is a wielder and well i think mickey is a wielder not choosen by the key but trained remember sora was never trained he was just a kid playing with swords along with the choosen (riku) but when he showd hes light in the moment that the key saw that riku turned to darkness the key needed someone in the moment so the key choosed the closest big light in the area (sora)
sora wasnt trained he trained himself troughout time with donald and goofy and well mickey was trained
maeby mickey had the star seeker as hes keyblade but gave it too yen sid since he found the one we know he uses now the gold one
and yen sid doesnt need a keyblade so when he gave sora the new technic he gave sora a gift that was once a gift for him from a friend to a friend
or remember mickey got from the train to twilight town and sora and the gang took it and got to yen sid maeby mickey gave it to yen sid and told him to give it too sora with the valor form that could be it too.

We don’t know for sure yet who Riku’s Nobody is. Heck, he may not even have one, due to the difference in strength of heart between him and Sora. However, unless you think that Nobodies will play a significant role in BBS, your post (and my response) probably belong somewhere else on this site.

….any whoo every one here has made a realy good argument what realy caught my atention were comments 2286. TP to comment 2289. MASTER RICKY i belive yen sid is a key-blade-master he has given sora and king M the star seeker and this goes doubel for sora because after savin each world he resievs a new key blade and that some how every disney hero or heroen is capabel of causing damage to the heartles and nobadies which i tought only the key-blade and its wielder culd vanquish them.
my point being that some how sora awakend in the disney characters the power to wield a key-blade. yen sid being as old as he may be, knew that this would happen and helped sora by giving him the power to wield the star-seeker.
one more thing the latest trailer of kh3 one of the text says “KEY BLADE WARS” which inmy opinion these next few games will be an apatiser teling us who, what, when, how, and why espetialy WHO has started this war and the previous games that we so have enjoyd show who the new recruits are to fight along side YEN SID, THE OTHER MASTERS WHO HAVE NOT YET BEEN NAMED, THE ONE AND ONLY KING M, SORA, RIKU, DONALD, GOOFY, AND KAIREY who now we know kan wield a key-blade.

truefaqs: They was not a Keyblade War in KH3 nor is there a KH3 trailer because it is not in production yet. Also, the trailer u saw was for BBS which is about 3 chasers searching for a missing Keyblade Master.
Also, for this argument about Yen SId being a keyblade master it is a questionable arguement but it is highly unlikly. Just as one of u said Yen SId is basically a teacher he just taught Mickey how to use Magic with his Keyblade. This is hinted because there are like 2 or so books in his tower that talk about Mickeys training wit Yen Sid. Also someone else made a good point about Mickey leaving the Star Seeker with Yen Sid however, i believe that Mickey just left the Keychain back with Yen Sid for Sora to train with.

Mickey probably didnt have enough time to give Yen SId the CHain in KH1 cus of the mission but in KH2 Mickey wanted them to go to the tower and get the Chain so he could refresh his magic from the sleep cus Star Seeker is good with magic (in KH2 awakening Sora was unable to remember his magic spells so Merlin had to give him some spells). THis leads to another thing which is that Yen Sid is just Like Merlin like Yen Sid taught Mickey, Merlin basically taught Sora his and practiced it with him in KH1. So, it all fits together.
