Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep
The new installement of the Kingdom Hearts series for the PSP, explaining the deep past of Kingdom Hearts, we are introduced by 3 characters, Ven, Terra and Aqua, Ven has a relation with Sora, Ven means air, as Sora means wind, which are the same; Aqua means water, and Kairi means ocean, which leads the same to water; Terra means earth, as Riku has some relation with earth. The major playable character is Terra, seen in the scans. In the game, the world Hollow Bastion or better known as Radiant Garden will explain himself more. Disney characters will make an appereance here as well. The old man is an older version of Xehanort, the game itslef will show the gamers the Real Keyblade Master, as Tetsuya Nomura (Director) well explained on his interview.
Trailer Descryption:
Scenes of the ending of Kingdom Hearts 1 flash by on the screen, and two phrases are seen clearly onscreen. One reads “Deep Past” and the other “Shut-Eyes gives birth to the concealed fate.”
We are then confronted by a young boy who looks like Roxas conversing with another young boy with black hair. Their surroundings seem to resemble Hallow Bastion (Radiant Garden). The name “Ven” is thrown outward, referring to the boy who looks like Roxas.
The scene change various times before stopping at an iamge of the Old Man from the KH2FM+ secret ending. He is called “Master Xehanort” by Terra. Soon after, Terra summons his keyblade and the screen chandes.
Various worlds are shown, and one of which is familiar to us all. “Olympus Colliseum” is making another comeback, followed by a brand new world, that of which resembles Sleeping Beauty.
The video then changes back to Terra battling against a dark figure, whom you can tell is male. This is the same man from the Secretn Ending of KH2FM+, the one who the Old Man creates. Terra is able to forceably get the man’s helmet off, but his face is concealed.
King Mickey is shown summoning kis keyblde, and then the scene changes very quicly to Terra on a beach. He seems to be watching two boys play in the ocen. After he rests his weapon into the ground, the two boys he was watching are clearer and they look like Sora and Riku. Soon after, Terra says “Please don’t depend on me, just erase me… friend.

Wow, So much i now have to cover for you people…Ok lets begin
1. The Three keyblades taken out of the ground by the 3 knights are King Mickeys Keyblade(the Gold one), Riku’s Keyblade and Soras Keyblades.
2. Before King Mickey was a king he was teh apprentice of master Yen Cid and used the keyblade “Star Seeker” That is the keyblade we see King Mickey holding at teh end of the trailer. It is also the keyblade sora gets when he visits master Yen Sid’s Tower. King Mickey Then Gets the keyblade from the “Realm Of Darkness” (thatd be the gold keyblade)thats apperently what he spent most of his time during Kingdom hearts 1.
3. Rikus Keyblade is “The Way To The Dawn and is teh keyblade of twighlight, remember Riku chose the path of darkness AND light, meaning his keyblade is a mixture of both.
4.The Old Bald man has been revealed to be “Master Xehanort” And Apperently is a keyblade master. And this is a direct quote off of a website
“Birth By Sleep takes place about 10 years before the original Kingdom Hearts. Before Sora wielded the Keyblade, there were other Keyblade masters. One of these masters, Xehanort, disappeared one day along with his apprentice. Another master of the keyblade saw this as a sign of terrible things to come. So he ordered his three apprentices (Terra, Ven and Aqua) to seek out Xehanort and his cohort”
After reading that its easy to see that the 3 knights are Apprentices, ans the old man / Master Xehanort is the Keyblade master they are chasing( this might be why they are called chasers) and the Black suit dude might be the old guys apprentice.

I don’t think Mickey’s key blade called dark side. The reason I think this, is if you look at the keyblade closely it assembles Yen Sid and we know that Mickey was his apprentice before he became king and he gain the gold keyblade. So the keyblade can’t be called dark side because Yen Sid is good not bad or dark, so the name must relate to it’s magical properties. This is only my theory.

This is just my thinking. I think that King Mickey’s Keyblade is the Twilight Keyblade and Kairi’s Keyblade is the Keyblade of Darkness. I’m not sure.

BrinkofDawn I think the reason that the three figures pull the three keyblades from the ground is because they are all didn’t, that they symbolise that paths that the keyblade wielders have chosen. For example, Sora has choose the road of light, Riku choose darkness but then choose a different road, the road to dawn. This is only my theory. But I have to mention that Kairi also wields a keyblade and so does Mickey but I’m not sure that they are called.

jasp: I don’t know about the significance of those keyblades, but if you compare the secret ending in KH2 and the extended secret ending in FM+, in FM+ they’re no longer holding the keyblades they picked up.
In my opinion, I think drawing the keyblades from the ground was just a form of symbolism. Of what? I don’t know…

hey in birth by sleep video the three guys in the armor they walk over to other keyblades that look some what like the keyblades that riku,sora,and i guess Kairi’s (ive never really seen her’s if she has one)

I don’t know if anyone has had the opportunity to play FF VII CC for PSP yet, but I SWEAR that it has increased my anxiousness for Kingdom Hearts BBS. I was originally skeptic of the level of quality that they could achieve with a KH game on the PSP. But CC has reassured me and given me an understanding on what we can look forward to. I’m happy to see that they will be able to incorporate such a high level of graphics and even the amount of fully CG cut scenes. ITS GOING TO BE SOOOO GREAT ^_^

Soroxas: Roxas and Ven are not related, but they are both related to Sora… so in some sense they are related. Terra is supposed to be related to Riku and Kairi to Aqua.
I like your story, but most of your information is kinda out of wack. The red and black guy isn’t a Nobody because he has a Heartless symbol on him. The most theorized assumption about that particular person is that he is either a Heartless or Master Xehanort’s apprentice.
In the FM+ Xemnas sits in front of Aqua’s armor, not Terra’s.

Just had another thought. In the extended trailer for Birth By Sleep, a man in red and black armor emerges from the bald guy. This website describes the bald guy as “Master Xehanort” based on what Terra said. So, maybe this red and black armor person is his Nobody. Xehanort may have become a heartless before he met Ansem the Wise. He may have become a heartless before or during the Keyblade War. Also, the trailer mentions the lost two, so maybe his Xemnas, his nobody, was also an associate of Venn, Aqua and Terra. This means that even though they used the power of darkness, they were still associated with those who use light. Light and Darkness could be allies based off the conversation in the World That Never was in KH2 between Riku, Donald, Goofy, Sora, Kairi, Mickey and Xemnas. Riku said they’re only afraid of the darkness because of who lurks inside. Following this philosophy, Xehanort may have become a heartless, but when his memory was erased by the other keyblade masters, he was turned back to the way he previously was. It’s possible to make a heartless human again, based on how Kairi made Sora normal in KH1. So, maybe when he was turned back to normal, he started to grow hair.
This is just a theory.

OKay, I found proof that Xehanort is the bald guy or the man in the mask in the Birth by Sleep trailer. Notice that at the end he looks at Terra’s (or one of the tree armored warriors in the Birth by Sleep trailer’s) armor and he says “It’s been a long time, my friend”. This means that he killed that keyblade weilder, which means he must be the bald guy. He might be the masked guy, but the guy in red and black with teh mask seemed to be a generated heartless that came out of the bald guy or something. Any input on this? I’m not entirely up to date with the 3 main characters in Birth By Sleep.

Okay, based on the trailers I’ve watched and rumors I’ve heard, I think I might predict some things about Kingdom Hearts 3 and Birth by Sleep. This is my first theory, so don’t be too harsh.
Before Sora’s lifetime, there was a keyblade war, fought between keyblade wielders. The Chasers are the inventors and masters of the keyblade. The Bald Guy in the trailer is Xehanort, and he fights three of the leaders of the Chasers because they want to stop the war. He needs the war to continue so there will be no keyblade wielder to prevent him from opening Kingdom Hearts. If he succeeded, however, it would destroy the forces of both light and darkness. Terra, one of the chasers, was killed by Xehanort, and he kept her armor (based off a scene I found of an Organization 13 guy near her chaser armor). He eventually was defeated by Ven, Aqua and King Mickey, and the 2 leaders banished him to Radiant Garden, as well as erasing his memory. They hoped that he would learn from trying to destroy the world. Ansem found Xehanort, and trained him until he left. When he left, some his ancient powers came when he became a heartless. His heartless and nobody were defeated by Sora. The letter from King Mickey that Sora received spoke of the forces of light trying to rid the worlds of darkness completely (this is based off the discussion of light and darkness with Xemnas in the World that Never Was in KH2). If this succeeds, the hearts of the world will be unbalanced, and everything may start to fall apart. Because of warriors of light being the new threat, Sora, Riku and Kairi must learn the power of darkness. When they learn this, they set off to fight the new enemies.
This is just a starting theory. Comment and in your opinion, say what changes you think should be made. Sorry for the long comment…

The thing I don’t get is who the bald guy could be? Is that Xehanort, because the rumors say that Ansem the Wise found him in Radiant Garden, so maybe that was after this whole conflict during Birth by Sleep.
