Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep
The new installement of the Kingdom Hearts series for the PSP, explaining the deep past of Kingdom Hearts, we are introduced by 3 characters, Ven, Terra and Aqua, Ven has a relation with Sora, Ven means air, as Sora means wind, which are the same; Aqua means water, and Kairi means ocean, which leads the same to water; Terra means earth, as Riku has some relation with earth. The major playable character is Terra, seen in the scans. In the game, the world Hollow Bastion or better known as Radiant Garden will explain himself more. Disney characters will make an appereance here as well. The old man is an older version of Xehanort, the game itslef will show the gamers the Real Keyblade Master, as Tetsuya Nomura (Director) well explained on his interview.
Trailer Descryption:
Scenes of the ending of Kingdom Hearts 1 flash by on the screen, and two phrases are seen clearly onscreen. One reads “Deep Past” and the other “Shut-Eyes gives birth to the concealed fate.”
We are then confronted by a young boy who looks like Roxas conversing with another young boy with black hair. Their surroundings seem to resemble Hallow Bastion (Radiant Garden). The name “Ven” is thrown outward, referring to the boy who looks like Roxas.
The scene change various times before stopping at an iamge of the Old Man from the KH2FM+ secret ending. He is called “Master Xehanort” by Terra. Soon after, Terra summons his keyblade and the screen chandes.
Various worlds are shown, and one of which is familiar to us all. “Olympus Colliseum” is making another comeback, followed by a brand new world, that of which resembles Sleeping Beauty.
The video then changes back to Terra battling against a dark figure, whom you can tell is male. This is the same man from the Secretn Ending of KH2FM+, the one who the Old Man creates. Terra is able to forceably get the man’s helmet off, but his face is concealed.
King Mickey is shown summoning kis keyblde, and then the scene changes very quicly to Terra on a beach. He seems to be watching two boys play in the ocen. After he rests his weapon into the ground, the two boys he was watching are clearer and they look like Sora and Riku. Soon after, Terra says “Please don’t depend on me, just erase me… friend.

Dude, how can roxas have been ven in a prievious life, roxas was born the moment sora turned into a heartless, and another thing, chasers are more likely something thats new, not something similar to a heartless or nobody.

monkey d. luffy: A first of Ven is not Ven’s real name. Nomura has said that it is just a nickname. Also Roxas didn’t come into being until Sora got turned back into a human by Kairi in KH1. In KH2 FM you see Xemnas give Roxas his name. The name Sora appears and letters start roatating around him until Xemnas stops them with the X and thus the name is given to him. So Ven and Roxas are not the same person.

We only hear his mom, we never see her, so it is highly possible. She only say’s, “Sora, dinner’s ready. Sora?”

Birth By Sleep takes place 10 years before kh 1 so that means sora will be 4 not 5 and riku would be 5 and kairi would be 4 but probably hasnt even found herself at destiny islands when this takes place

Sora’s mother appear in KH1 when she says Sora [the dinner..]or something else.. so aqua isn’t sora’s mum

And for the keyblade, it might be possible that Terra never summoned it around anyone on the islands, or tell anyone for that matter, and for sora’s mom, you said we never see her, so it does in a way make sense that aqua could be his mother.

I suppose your right, but one can only come up with answers, but it is possible that Terra never told him, he also might not have had the armor yet, and as far as losing his memories go, it might be similar to what Namine did to sora in chain of memories; and this has been bugging me for some time, terra’s eyes change at the end of bbs, so does it mean he possibly has an anti form?

black heart: Actually it should. See Birth by Sleep takes place ten years before Kingdom Hearts 1, like you said. Now that would make Sora five years old when Birth by Sleep happened. Ok we can throw Ven out being Sora’s since Ven seems roughly the same Sora is in KH1 & KH2. Making him either 15 or 16. Unless they want to go into the whole teenager having a son ordeal then we can scratch him off the list. Now Sora’s mother’s voice makes an appearance in Kingdom Hearts 1, but yet we don’t see her. Now Aqua’s keyblade and armor we know to be in Radiant Garden in Xehanorts secret lab. Yet she is missing. Now from what we have seen in Kingdom Hearts 1 and from a video in the FM we know Sora has a good memory. It think it is odd however that he doesn’t remember his parents carrying keyblades. Hell he doesn’t even know what a keyblade is until Leon explains it to him in Traverse Town. You would think he would at least remember his parents having big keys and suits of full-plate mail in the house. I mean they aren’t something you just hide in a closet and say it’s a Halloween costume. Also I think Terra at some point would have recognized his own son in their fight in KH2 FM. Like Nomura said there is a connection between them, however it’s not blood.

that makes sense in a way, but it stil raises many questions, for one thing,Ven looks more like roxas so its possible that they are related by blood, on the other hand roxas was soras nobody so why would soras dad take after him, also sora has brown hair not blonde.
and to get things straight, its not kingdom hearts 3,its kingdom hearts birth by sleep.
to be completely honest, i would believe that Terra is soras pops, and aquas his mom; thats just my personal opinion so dont tear the hell outta it.

Seeing you having such a deep discussion about the 3 knights and how they are connected to sora, riku, and kiari makes me tearful in some way ;-).
Well anyway, you all have good points and somewhat good theories, but in the end, you must get it through your heads that the three knights are not blood related to the 3 main characters. But here is a clue before you chop off my head. Think only about how they are related by their skill at handling the keyblade. From there, i shall let your minds rack up answers. See you all soon, and if any of you have any questions about kh, please feel free to ask me, i’ll answer it to the best of my abilities.

I think there is a father of sora because if you look at the trailer of Kingdom Hearts3 at the end you will see a knight taking off his mask and that roxas was there to maybe roxas followed his father just to probly save the worlds agian and then if you saw every part of it you will see King Mikey seeing the trouble and probly going over to roxas and revie him so thats all I think about this question.

they are not father or son

none of these are related in any way
