Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep
The new installement of the Kingdom Hearts series for the PSP, explaining the deep past of Kingdom Hearts, we are introduced by 3 characters, Ven, Terra and Aqua, Ven has a relation with Sora, Ven means air, as Sora means wind, which are the same; Aqua means water, and Kairi means ocean, which leads the same to water; Terra means earth, as Riku has some relation with earth. The major playable character is Terra, seen in the scans. In the game, the world Hollow Bastion or better known as Radiant Garden will explain himself more. Disney characters will make an appereance here as well. The old man is an older version of Xehanort, the game itslef will show the gamers the Real Keyblade Master, as Tetsuya Nomura (Director) well explained on his interview.
Trailer Descryption:
Scenes of the ending of Kingdom Hearts 1 flash by on the screen, and two phrases are seen clearly onscreen. One reads “Deep Past” and the other “Shut-Eyes gives birth to the concealed fate.”
We are then confronted by a young boy who looks like Roxas conversing with another young boy with black hair. Their surroundings seem to resemble Hallow Bastion (Radiant Garden). The name “Ven” is thrown outward, referring to the boy who looks like Roxas.
The scene change various times before stopping at an iamge of the Old Man from the KH2FM+ secret ending. He is called “Master Xehanort” by Terra. Soon after, Terra summons his keyblade and the screen chandes.
Various worlds are shown, and one of which is familiar to us all. “Olympus Colliseum” is making another comeback, followed by a brand new world, that of which resembles Sleeping Beauty.
The video then changes back to Terra battling against a dark figure, whom you can tell is male. This is the same man from the Secretn Ending of KH2FM+, the one who the Old Man creates. Terra is able to forceably get the man’s helmet off, but his face is concealed.
King Mickey is shown summoning kis keyblde, and then the scene changes very quicly to Terra on a beach. He seems to be watching two boys play in the ocen. After he rests his weapon into the ground, the two boys he was watching are clearer and they look like Sora and Riku. Soon after, Terra says “Please don’t depend on me, just erase me… friend.

Hey,
I’m not sure how the gameplay is going to work on the PSP, it worked with COM, however I doubt that it will work on PSP, it’s a shame that they decided to do this. The DS KH looks good, however I wish that they had implemented that gameplay on this game.

I also have another idea: Maybe the Xehanort in KH2 and the old guy in the FM2 ending are two different Xehanorts. Maybe the apprentice to Ansem the Wise was once the apprentice to the “Master Xehanort” and, going by what I read above, is the dark figure that Terra battled and he somehow ended up with Ansem the Wise. idk exactly but yeah just a theory^^

Okay I see what you’re saying but it doesn’t make sense in Xehanort’s case. Yeah Xemnas and “Ansem” look like Ansem the Wise’s apprentice in KH2 but if the old guy is also Xehanort then isn’t that a bit wierd?

Rickie: No the Kingdom Hearts Movie is not going to get made any time soon. See Disney does not want to make a Kingdom Hearts movie at this time. Since Disney owns the rights to all Kingdom Hearts characters, except the ones from the Final Fantasy games, and all the worlds they pretty ^much have ^the say *on what media the series gets released to.

The only connection we know as of right now is that Aqua means Water and Kairi means Ocean, so she has some connection Kairi. That’s all we do know anyway.
If anything, I say Terra resembles Sora a little bit.
I think Ven and Roxas are the same, but nothing has been confirmed. We have to wait until the game comes out.

I don’t know how Aqua is tied to any of the KH characters (or if she even is) or the tie between Terra and Sora but they do look alot alike. I really think Ven is Roxas but Birth by Sleep took place before the 1st KH. Hmmm……maybe there’s a paradox between Roxas and Ven that ties to Sora.

I’ve thought about this for a while and after reading alot of people’s opinions about the story for Birth by Sleep it seems pretty obvious that this is meant to really mess with our minds. Anywho I have my own theory. The 3 keyblade wielders Ven, Terra, and Aqua could be the true keyblade masters along with Xehanort and his apprentice, but what if the old guy is the real Xehanort and the Ansem/Xemnas stole his name too because, if you think about it, when Ansem the Wise found him he had no memory but was able to remember Xehanort. What if he stole that name too? Also Ven, the guy that looks like Roxas, most likely is Roxas cus they look too much alike.

I was wondering if sombody could help me understand somethings like is ven related to sora and is aqau part of the organization and why people have seid aqau passing a keyblade down to micky i dident know you could pass down a key blade so if sombody could help me understands some of these things it would be awsome ^_^

varXtis: Let’s start with the trailer that clearly shows a young Sora and Riku in the background playing on the beach. However they age is not verified by that. However in a Famitsu interview about Birth by Sleep Tetsuya Nomura reveals that it does in fact place ten years in the past. Now if you read the description of Sora in the Kingdom Hearts 1 manual it clearly states he is 14. Then all it is simple math.
14-10=4

Okay, I’m kind of curious where the whole “age” thing comes from. Has there been any indisputable facts regarding the exact time frame the “Birth by Sleep” story takes place? Don’t get me wrong. . . I’m just making sure I didn’t miss a major reference to Sora and Riku’s ages.

Jean-Francois: They are not the parents of Sora and Riku. First Nomura hasn’t explained the fact that Kairi was given a keyblade in Kingdom Hearts 2. Let’s not forget that Kairi is a special case and that she was given the keyblade by Riku instead of it appearing out of nowhere like Riku’s and Sora’s did. Plus it could be just something she can do because she is a Princess of Heart. Second I really don’t think Ven is Sora’s father because Ven seems to be roughly the same age as Sora and Sora is 15. So I don’t think Square or Disney is going to go into why an under age teen in a game gear towards kids is the father of a 4 year old boy at this point in time. Remember Sora and Riku are 4 and 5 at this time. So it would be kind of strange to have underage teens as parents in a Disney game.

is it possible that Ven might be Sora’s dad? and Terra Riku’s? because the three of them are together in the game (terra, ven, and aqua) and in the kh 1 & 2 riku,sora, and kairi were just randomly on the island from the start and can use the keyblade

Kingdom Hearts Final Mix is a Japan only release of Kingdom Hearts 1 with all the extras the American version got along with a few new cut scenes, two new keyblades, different coloring for enemies, a couple of new enemies, and an extra Boss against the Enigmatic Man which was really Xemnas.
Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix + is Japan only release of Kingdom Hearts 2 with extra cut scenes, new enemies, new Gumi ship missions, new side quest, extra bosses which include every single member of the Organization and the Enigmatic Soldier, and two new keyblades. It also comes with a PS2 version of Chain of Memories which has enhanced graphics and new cut scenes. Once again the English voice acting is present in this game. Alas, unlike the previous Final Mix which included mostly extras we got with our version of Kingdom Hearts 1, our Kingdom Hearts 2 was exactly the same as the Japanese version. So they get the Final Mix version while we sit by and wish they would release it in overseas market.

well tazimus prime i saythis because this explains why roxas and he look so much alike besides we have no age confirmantions quite yet for all we care they could be 20 and besides this could be true nomara said to keep guessing so this is my guess.
