Kingdom Hearts Coded
Part of the 3 new installments of the Kingdom Hearts series, focusing on Sora and Jimminy Cricket, this game has been consider Chain Of Memories 2 since the style of the gameplay and the story, this game assembles Sora in his old clothes, which it might be or after Kingdom Hearts 1 or before Kingdom Hearts 1. The worlds we see in this game are Traverse Town and Destiny Islands. Disney characters in this game are Mickey and Jimminy Cricket. This trailer will explain better the game.
Trailer Description:
When the video begins, we are introduced with a series of images, followed by the words “Kingdom Hearts: New Concepts and Game Titles.” Right after this, the ending to Kingdom Hearts 2 plays, followed by the phrases “The secret ending has been dealt with, and the worlds extend once again” and “flow”.
The screen fades back in to Jiminy Cricket and the phrase “Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories”. He is peering into his journal, noticing a phrase he cannot remember writing. It reads “You need to return, to heal the wounds”. This phrase seems to alert Jiminy in some way, as he runs off to report the finding to King Mickey. The king is startled by the discovery, but only replies with “Only he is the one who can solve it.”
We fade in and out to Sora standing on the beach at Destiny Islands. He is wearing his Kingdom Hearts 1 style clothing, but he is only shown as computer data being transmitted.
When the image of Sora dissapears, a battle scene commences. As Sora is movning blocks around to finsish a puzzle game, heartless are attacking from all angles. The gameplay mecahnics seem very odd. After the puzzle is finished, a command called “Debugging” appears on the screen. After being activated, Sora moves extremely quickly and then vanishes.
The last scene includes Sora aned Mickey in Traverse Town. Mickey says to no one in particular “I was here on that day.” and “Let’s speak truly”.

For some reason I think that this game does take place after KH: Chains of Memory but before KH2. Maybe it takes place while Sora is sleeping and he is dreaming all this along with Jiminy Cricket, Donald and Goofy. All dreams are connected some how so maybe this takes place while they are all dreaming…

Master O.o & ViVi: This game takes place after KH2. Nomura has already said this. That is not the real Sora it is merely a virtual Sora.

About Kingdom Hearts Coded, it can be only in Japan, not North America, and/or other states. But for cell phone.

nick: Well the reason his clothes are different then what they are in KH2 and are the same as they are in KH1 and CoM is because that isn’t really Sora. The is a virtual Sora created when King Mickey digitizes the journal. Nomura has stated it himself that this game is after KH2 and the plot summary from Square-Enix states that it is after KH2. This game will also reveal what King Mickey was doing in KH1. So, yes, this game is set after KH2. If you don’t believe me why don’t you go read some interviews instead of making yourself look like a noob next time.

I wonder why micky switced back to the Dreamcatcher if he had the Dark World Key? Is that a vertual micky from the past? He had the dream cather 10 years ago.

Zeroux of Nothing: It is presumably a shot of King Mickey from the past during the time of KH1. He wielded Star Seeker before he got the Kingdom Key Darkside.

hey kiari, i’m here. just go to the kh2 pgs, though it is only fer talkin.
all i no is that kh1 is for ps2, kh2 is fer ps2, (but could be in other game systems i ain’t sure) and kh3… i dunno, but iassume it would be in either ps3 or xbox 360.
more likely ps3 though

okay. so it’s coming out for mobile phones. two questions: 1. is it actually coming out in america? because our phones are not nearly as advanced as japan’s and i have never seen graphics that good on a phone. 2. will we have to buy a special phone to play this game or a special network to play it?

RoxAxel: Well Nomura said he is planning on releasing it here in America, but he doesn’t know when. For now we’re just to have to be satisfied with 358/2 Days and Birth by Sleep until we get the cell phones for it and it will probably be exclusive to certain networks.

358/2 Days and Coded are going to be released in the summer of this year in Japan. Birth by Sleep will be released sometime later in Japan. Which means we probably wont see 358/2 Days until the end of the 3rd quarter or somewhere in 4th quarter of this year. Birth by Sleep will probably be released in America next year.

keymaster: Coded is going to be released during the summer in Japan. However according Nomura we here in America don’t have cell phones powerful enough to play the game yet. So who knows when this game will reach America. KH3 however can be expected to be released around 2010.
