Kingdom Hearts

It is hard to know where to start when creating a brief synopsis of the bizarre and magical game that is Kingdom Hearts. The game is a fascinating collaberation between Square and Disney, and one which works insanely well; at least, far more so than one might have presumed. It plays so well in that it is a combination of an action game and a role-playing game, and not only does the game attempt (and succeed) to capture that crazy-but-tremendous essence of Final Fantasy, but it also transmits a lot of the ‘magical’ elements of the Disney movies.
Many of the main characters, however, are brand new creations. This is key (no puns intended!) because while we may love the old characters which we have played with and watch on movies in the past, a game needs somethine new to spice things up. Enter Sora, Riku, and Kairi from the Destiny Islands!
The player will enjoy the vast spectrum of different worlds they will encounter; as well as the original Destiny Island, there is the ‘Traverse Town’, ‘Hollow Bastion’, ‘End of the World’, and ‘Disney Castle’ to enjoy.
Another celebrated factor of Kingdom Hearts is the excellent vocal cast it provides. The ‘Sixth Sense’ child Haley Joel Osment plays the main character Sora, and Kairi is played by ‘Ally McBeal’ star Hayden Panettiere. There are a number of other well recognised actors involved as well, which all adds to the ambiance of Kingdom Hearts.

But then I found out there are Seven hearts of pure light. These belonged to the Seven Princesses of Heart. Now see we live in a world of balance so if there are Seven Hearts of Light then there must be Seven Hearts of Pure Darkness.

Now this perplexed me even more. So I decided to do some search. I found an old prophecy that mentions the Gates of Eden and the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life. It said that the Keymaster will forge the Key and that it be of that of light. The Gatekeeper will use the Key to open the Gates of Eden and then Knowledge and Life will be theres.

So I created the Order. We Five Hearts of Pure Darkness. Hexas keeps them. I have Xaredin to make the key. I have Xores to read the stars and tell who the Gatekeeper is. I have Vaxan to seek out the Potentials. I have Kexlu to chronicle the journy. I have Surfu to watch for the hearts. Lenox to slay the holders of the hearts. And I have Renextis to guard the Order. The last place is reserved for the Gatekeeper.

We don’t know. We have found many Potentials. I have sought them out spoke to them personally. I told them that they may be the Gatekeeper. In the end only one will be chosen.

Don’t lower this duty. The fact that you hold a key means you have a strong heart. The key is very selective about its wielders. If it has chosen you then your strength is above others.
