Kingdom Hearts

It is hard to know where to start when creating a brief synopsis of the bizarre and magical game that is Kingdom Hearts. The game is a fascinating collaberation between Square and Disney, and one which works insanely well; at least, far more so than one might have presumed. It plays so well in that it is a combination of an action game and a role-playing game, and not only does the game attempt (and succeed) to capture that crazy-but-tremendous essence of Final Fantasy, but it also transmits a lot of the ‘magical’ elements of the Disney movies.

Many of the main characters, however, are brand new creations. This is key (no puns intended!) because while we may love the old characters which we have played with and watch on movies in the past, a game needs somethine new to spice things up. Enter Sora, Riku, and Kairi from the Destiny Islands!

The player will enjoy the vast spectrum of different worlds they will encounter; as well as the original Destiny Island, there is the ‘Traverse Town’, ‘Hollow Bastion’, ‘End of the World’, and ‘Disney Castle’ to enjoy.

Another celebrated factor of Kingdom Hearts is the excellent vocal cast it provides. The ‘Sixth Sense’ child Haley Joel Osment plays the main character Sora, and Kairi is played by ‘Ally McBeal’ star Hayden Panettiere. There are a number of other well recognised actors involved as well, which all adds to the ambiance of Kingdom Hearts.

Release Date: September 17, 2002.

    The girl, Erin, has a lot of spunk (spunk meaning boldness, guts, etc) She totally stands her ground against Marvola!

    hey, if anyone reads this, im trying to wrie a book, could you tell me your oppinion?

    here it is

    The fog swirled and danced over the rough waters of the sea as the music of the night played. The moon glowed menacingly through the thin blanket of clouds in the sky. For most people, tonight was just an other ordinary night in Duronoia, but if you got far enough into the forest, you would have known for yourself that this was no ordinary night. For tonight a young woman fled for the life of a child she barely knew. Far, far into the stormy night she ran, carrying the small bundle of a baby in her arms. Suddenly though, her flight was stopped short as a man in a long cloak stepped in her path. The woman stopped and the force of the wind whipped the hood off of her head revealing long blonde hair and captivatingly dark brown eyes. “this little game is over Erin.” said the man through a mock playful smile. “Now hand over the kid and ill be on my way.” His red hair hung over his piercing green eyes and his wet clothes clung to his skin as he took another step forward drawing a knife from the cloth of his sleeve. But the woman stood still not even reacting to the fact that this strange man said her name. “You know I cant do that Marvola.” she spat out the mans name as if it were a curse. “This young lady will live a normal life and never have to worry about her sister or anything else, now if you would,” she gestured to one side with her head “step aside..”
    Marvola laughed harshly and gave a small wistle into the night. At that moment two large hands roughly grabbed Erin’s sholders. Apparently, Marvola had not come alone. She hugged the now awake and crying baby closer to her body. “great” she thought to herself “I thought that that old lier told me that the spell would keep her quiet.
    Marvola took another step forward. “Like I said” he said still with his triumphant mock smile on his face,
    “hand over the girl and I may let you live” this time it was Erin’s turn to laugh, a bitter smile broke the grim expression that was on her face moments before. “for how long Marvola will it take you to realize that you are a terrible lier?” The smile on Marvola’s face vanished, replaced by a furious glare, but he calmly, “True, with what you witnessed tonight and as dicipline for what you have done I am afraid I cannot let you live, but if you do not hand the baby over right now…” he paused to wipe something off of his knife. “lets just say it wont be as fun of an experience for you.” he flashed another mock smile before taking another step foreward. A voice from behind made Erin jump. “Uhhhhhh Sir,” said the soldier holding Erin. “why do you not just take it from her?” he tightened his grip on Erin’s sholders “I mean, its not like she can do a whole lot to fight back right now.” the baby gave another wail louder than the last. And Marvola shot her a glance that immediately made her fall silent.

    Terra
    Terra (テラ, Tera?), also known as “Tomarishi Shinen” (留まりし思念, “Tomarishi Shinen”? lit. “Remaining Sentiment”), first appears in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix as an optional boss wielding a large Keyblade. He is reached through a portal in Disney Castle, in the Hall of the Cornerstone. When Sora meets Terra in a desert, the soldier calls out Xehanort’s name and attacks Sora.

    If Sora comes back to challenge Terra again, he states he has nothing else to give him, and that the only thing he has left is his hatred for Xehanort.
