More KHII:FM+ Ultimania Photos *Updated*
TheWertle has done a couple more photos of Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ Ultimania. The first is conceptual artwork of an armoured version of Xemnas. The second is conceptual artwork of a Final Boss Nobody named “King” in The World That Never Was. Click them to enlarge them:
Also, Zexion’s “Mirage Book” is actually called “Lexicon” (a reference book). It’s now confirmed that his element is “Illusion” as well.
Update: TheWertle also took a photo of some sketches by Tetsuya Nomura of Marluxia’s Final (3rd) Form:

I doubt we’ve seen the end of Maleficent and Pete, because they’re keeping the Disney connection, and they need to keep main Disney Villains as well as the ones unique to the various worlds.

If Maleficent and Pete are still alive, they’ll have to be wiped out eventually. But then we’d have to play as Sora… It doesn’t make any sense.

But in the original KH2 trailer, it was Ven who picked up the Way To Dawn Keyblade…just food for thought about who has which alignments.
Maleficent and Pete just kinda…dropped out of the picture right there at the end. They could have escaped, certainly. If Disney is going to continue to be a part of KH (which it probably will), then Maleficent will need to still be around. (Besides, everyone thought RUFUS was dead, and he managed to make it out alive.)

Thanks for the Clear Up Riku & Shakespeare. So, it has to be Reincarnation. Either Aqua was born again into Kairi, or Namine. Since she represents the Path of Light, Ven representing Twilight, Xehanort representing The Way to Dawn, and The Old Man following the Path of Darkness, there’s gotta be a connection. Same with Ven. I find no coincidence that Ven & Roxas look EXACTLY alike. There’s far more to that story.
Vinan123, last time was saw Pete & Maleficent, there were charging into battle into an ARMY of Shadow Heartless. But if I recall, the Castle was destroyed during the Sora/Riku/Xemnas fight right? Unless they used the power of Darkness to escape at the last minute. Maleficent did mention something about re-decorating the Castle with her own touch of Darkness.

What happened to Maleficent and Pete anyway?

Maybe Xemnas is just weird…maybe the armor is haunted…maybe he just likes the idea of being able to taunt the people who were once his comrades even after they’ve died as part of some superiority complex. I personally think it’s the latter; he’s mocking the fact that he survived while the other 3 didn’t (even though the E.S. is still alive).
Riku didn’t have a Heartless because he was never turned into one. He was taken by the Darkness, but never actually lost his heart. It would have been against Maleficent’s best interests to let Riku be turned into a Heartless; she needed him whole.
Sora had to use Riku’s Keyblade to remove his own heart because Kairi’s heart was inside his own. It’s fully detailed in Secret Ansem Report 9*, but considering how much of KH1’s climax surrounds the fact that Kairi’s heart is hidden and hasn’t become a Heartless (just like the six other princesses), we’ve known these things for a while.

Naminé is a Nobody, created when a young girl’s heart left her body.
Yet she has no corresponding Heartless.
This is because the “young girl” in this case was a princess.
Kairi, a resident of Radiant Garden over which I had ruled, was one of the Seven Princesses that uphold the realm of light.
With no darkness in her heart, Kairi produced no Heartless, and instead of vanishing, her body remained in the realm of light.
In other words, both the Nobody called Naminé and the Heartless—proof of a lost heart—are extremely unstable beings who lack the bodies needed to produce a Nobody. Therefore, they also lack Kairi’s memories. One reason for this may be that Kairi’s heart did not return to the darkness when separated from her body, but rather migrated to another vessel…deep within Sora’s heart.

At the start of the game, Kairi’s heart went to Sora when she passed through him in Destiny Islands. She was a Heartless, but as her heart and body were of pure Light, she didn’t take on Heartless form. So she stayed in human form and unconsious instead, while Naminé was born a pure Light Nobody.

One last thing, if Kairi had a nobody, shouldn’t she have a corresponding heartless? I mean in Hollow Bastion in the first game, Sora used Riku’s Dark Keyblade to release his heart in order to free Kairi. He was turned into a Heartless, and at the same time, had a corresponding Nobody in Roxas. Same with Xehanort. He turned himself into a Heartless to go after Sora & The Keyblade, and at the same time, he had a corresponding nobody in Xemnas who led Organization XIII. If Kairi had a nobody in Namine, she has to have a corresponding Heartless, right? Riku never had a heartless, his heart was too weak, and was tempted into the Darkness too easily.

But why would he talk to a suit of armor? Is he talking to the spirit of the armor, or something? It seems too weird to me.
on 07 May 2007 at 5:04 am 20. Shakespeare
Ace, remember that in Advent Children, Sephiroth says almost the exact same line when he returns (’Hisashiburi da na…Kuraudo’), and he certainly isn’t asking Cloud for help. Besides, in the full cutscene, it shows that Xemnas IS just talking to the armor; it’s in a heap on the floor.
And Kairi didn’t have a Heartless. There was no Darkness in her heart, and since the Heartless are born from the Darkness in one’s heart, it’s not physically possible. Plus, her heart was hidden away inside of Sora’s throughout KH1.
I agree with what you have to say about Mickey. One of the 3 knights (Aqua) picks up Mickey’s Kingdom Key in the KH2 secret trailer (though they all seem to use their own in the KH2:FM+ trailer). It’s entirely possible that he got his Keyblade here.

Sorry, JForever, my “Jack of all Trades” name doesn’t seem to work anymore I would post comments and they wouldn’t appear on the site, so from now on, everybody, I’ll go by Ace of Diamonds.

Then we have King Mickey. I believe that in the past before Mickey was King, he trained under Yensid. When Yensid learned of this new evil, he figured that Mickey was ready. He handed him the Star-Seeker Keyblade, and sent him off. Perhaps, King Mickey obtained his own Kingdom Key when we saw him in the Realm of Darkness at the end of Kingdom Hearts 1.

JForever, honestly, I couldn’t even answer that for you. I’ve heard rumors about Zexion being in someway related to Aqua(the female knight). Last time we heard from Xigbar, he told Sora, “…but man, did it pick a dud this time” “You don’t look like you’re half the hero the others were.” It must mean that Xigbar had an encounter with past Keyblade weilders. Either he fought with them, or he fought against them. Of course there’s Xemnas. In the cutscene, he was talking to the female knight’s armor, saying, “It’s been a while, old friend”. Remember, Xemnas is just Xehanort’s Nobody. It techincally still is Xehanort. He probably was asking the Female Knight for help. You can’t just talk to armor. Which means the Keyblade War took place in the past, but not too far back in the past. Then, the mystery of Roxas. Roxas seemed to be the main point right now. He was focused on more than Sora. It would explain my reincarnation theory. Maybe Roxas being born was predetermined. Xehanort knew that by using Sora’s friends, he’d sacrifice his own life to save theirs, and Roxas was born out of Sora. But then, there’s Kairi. If Namine is her nobody, then maybe Aqua is her heartless?

hey, the new proyect of Nomura has been revealed. its like KH: CoM. is a explanation about the history of Kingdom Hearts 3, and say what was doing Mickey in the end of the video Fate of the Unknown, and who obtained his keyblade. for PSP or DS.

…which explains why the news post says that they’re concept art for bosses. Besides, if you can’t play the games, how would you know that?

Kentaurosu kinda looks like a cross between the summon Alexander and Omega Weapon, now that I look at it. Interesting.

If it was, it would’ve been that HUGE Nobody Roxas fought. I’m not saying you’re wrong, it’s my theory. That looks like a pretty kickass boss to me. Hopefully, we get a chance to fight him. This leads to me believe that Zexion is more involved with this story than I thought. There’s more to Organization XIII than what was in Kingdom Hearts 2 & Chain of Memories. There’s gotta be a bigger story behind them. Zexion, Xigbar, Xemnas having a connection with the 3 Armored Knights, and all this commotion over Roxas. Organization XIII has to be hiding something. We all know The Heartless are born out of the Darkness of people’s hearts, but what about Nobodies. What else do we know besides when a person’s heart is tempted by Darkness that a lifeless body is left behind and acts on it’s own?
on 03 May 2007 at 6:12 pm 3. vinan123
This is probably the Nobody version of Darkside.

King and …’Kentaurosu’? Kentaurus? Kentauros? Kentauroth? What’s that second one? Is there an official romanization on that guy?
