Names Known of the Knights Confirmed!
TheWertle is currently translating an interview found in the Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ Ultimania:
The full translation will come soon, but it has been confirmed that the names of the three Knights in the secret ending are related to elements just like Sora, Kairi, and Riku are, and that two of the knights are indeed Aqua and Ven. Update: We now know the name of the Enigmatic Soldier is Terra thanks to another interview with Nomura! Click the images to enlarge them:
Nomura has also hinted that Ven and Roxas may be related in some way!
Kairi (similar to Umi) means Sea - Aqua means Water
Riku means Land - Terra means Earth
This is the Enigmatic Soldier for those who don’t know already.

i think Ven’s spirit somehow landed in Sora’s body, that’s why Roxas looked like Ven. I also think that they are going with the triad of elements- Earth (terra), Water (aqua) and wind (ven), but you already recognized that. the females must be the spirit or essence of water or life, the stronger males must be the steadfast earth, and the third member must be the light or hope.

I don’t know if someone said this already, but their names are almost eerily the same meaning/connotation to Sora, Kairi, and Riku’s names o.o;

Ok, Ven, Aqua, And Terra Are not the Grown Up Sora, Riku, And Kairi.
Birth By Sleep takes place about 10 years before the original Kingdom Hearts. Before Sora wielded the Keyblade, there were other Keyblade masters. One of these masters, Xehanort, disappeared one day along with his apprentice. Another master of the keyblade saw this as a sign of terrible things to come. So he ordered his three apprentices (Terra, Ven and Aqua) to seek out Xehanort and his cohort.
Both Ven and Master Xehanort have connections to preexisting characters. Ven happens to bare a striking resemblance to Roxas. Master Xehanort shares the same name and clothing to the other Xehanort seen in Kingdom Hearts. As you play through the story, their connections will be revealed. However, you will have to play all three scenarios to understand the story completely. The secret movie shown at the end of Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ is actually a scene from the game.
Since this game is taking place in the past, each World will be given a time shift to fit within the plot. An example would be encountering a young Hercules in the Olympus Coliseum. Nomura has also stated that characters like Donald and Goofy would be making a return.

Haha, and it would be so funny if Ven were Roxas dad, Aqua Kairis mom and Terra Rikus dad, you know, theirs names xD But i dunno, Riku and Kairi got their parents on the island, dont they? Well, it was just a funny thought! ^^

Hey, I just thought of something. It really came to me in a dream, kind of weird, but what happens to the memories of the heartless and the nobodies. Could they like create a body for themselves, off the memories of the people before they became a heartless. just a thought

This is how I have viewed The Kingdom Hearts series so far.
First off. I believe Xehanort was the first Heartless ever. Being that his name, Xehanort can be rearranged and respelled as the words “No Heart” with an “X.” another thing that gives me great evidence that Xehanort was indeed a Heartless is because in the Secret Ansem report #1, Ansem explains that Xehanort’s abilities are “Superhuman.” Aslo it seems that all the other apprentices also became Heartless after coming in contact with Xehanort.
I also think that there is a whole different series of Ansem reports. The ones read in Kingdom Hearts are the “Secret Ansem Reports.” Where Ansem clearly speaks that Xehanort had written other reports under his name. I think that the Ansem Reports Xehanort wrote will give Kingdom Hearts fans more info on the many mysteries surrounding series.

Anyone wondering why the HECK Ven looks like Roxas, its because, its Roxas,(now I know this may sound odd) Before he lost his body to darkness and became Sora’s Nobody. Make sense? If not just go to KHinsider.com, I think theres still a blog up on that website…

As for the one called Xehonort, he takes over the body of Terra, thats why in kingdom hearts 2 , Ansem’s apprentis looks so much like Terra, and what was his apprentis’s name again… Oh yeah Xenhort! the three khnights you see are the Keyblade weilders before Riku, Sora, and Micky, as for Kiari”s keyblade, I have no clue. Looks to me that Riku pulled it out of his butt! (lol) I got all this info form magazines and countless websites. Not to mention this one as well!!! thank you.

Ven is Sora (grown up) and that is his connections with Roxas.
Aqua is Kairi (grown up).
Terra is Riku (grown up).
I found this all out when some info leaked from a couple Jappense critics they also mentoined that this game is AMAZING and that everything about it is what we have been waiting for in a video game! Sadly it starts to focus away from Disney and more into the main charcters personal lives…
