Names Known of the Knights Confirmed!
TheWertle is currently translating an interview found in the Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ Ultimania:
The full translation will come soon, but it has been confirmed that the names of the three Knights in the secret ending are related to elements just like Sora, Kairi, and Riku are, and that two of the knights are indeed Aqua and Ven. Update: We now know the name of the Enigmatic Soldier is Terra thanks to another interview with Nomura! Click the images to enlarge them:
Nomura has also hinted that Ven and Roxas may be related in some way!
Kairi (similar to Umi) means Sea - Aqua means Water
Riku means Land - Terra means Earth
This is the Enigmatic Soldier for those who don’t know already.

Yeah, I checked my online resources, and there was nothing even remotely close to ‘Rokusasu’ that meant ‘war’. (’Roku’ means six, anyway.)
Oh well, yesterday I had someone tell me that he had a pre-release version of KH3. I told him that it must not be very fun to play, since development hasn’t even started yet.

Roxas doesn’t mean “Huge War” simply because it’s a rearrangement of Sora with an X. That was the point of it.
There’s an outside chance it means something, but I don’t think it does.

It’s OK Jayme…people still correct me when I refer to Xehanort’s Heartless as ‘KH1!Ansem’, as if I didn’t know that the Ansem of KH1 is different than the REAL Ansem of KH2. (I still call him Ansem because it’s shorter, and everyone still knows who I’m talking about.)

Jayme, might you be thinking about when Xehanort got rid of Ansem the Wise? That’s the closest thing I can think of…
Kai, what language does ‘Roxas’ mean ‘Huge War’? And while we’re on it, what language does ‘Ven’ translate to ‘monk’? I’m pretty sure it’s not Japanese in either case. And ‘Kai’ means ‘Sea’ (the onyomi of the kanji for ‘ocean’ is ‘kai’, and the kunyomi is ‘umi’), not land.
Ven - Wind (Latin)
Sora - Sky (Japanese)
Roxas - Sora + X (English)
Aqua - Water (Latin)
Kai (Kairi) - Sea (Japanese)
Nami (Naminé) - Wave (Japanese)
E.S. - Land (Latin?)

Theres a lot elements this world. In KHFM2+ secret ending Knights Names are. Roxas Look alike name Ven witch means Wind and Monk. Aqua(Blue Hair person) Means Water Ocean. Guy looks like xehanort is Name Kai witch means Earth.. aka my r\l name is Kai sweet lol. Naminé means whirel wave Sora means sky. Kairi means Wave Roxas means War Riku means land.. Well, i found that Riku translates to land or shore but also can mean agony of seperation whatever that means so think of a name that is related to shore or land. Just a thought =)

I think what ever Riku is true… But I think place were fighting is past.. Look in secret ending we see castle at end… U think thats castle of onlvion.. and thats cross roads. and Bald man element is Thunder or Power. 5 elements Wind Water Earth Fire Thunder one power.. Shakespeare-i found out that my theroy is like totaly wrong but i remember a video that showed 2 org. members talking and they said something about axems getting rid of the surpuoir or something like that i dont really remember it, sorry for my spelling

Jayme, what video did you see this in? Because when Organization XIII started, there were only 6 members; the Nobodies of Xehanort (callin himself Ansem), Braig, Dilan, Even, Elaeus, and Ienzo.
Now Xehanort DID get rid of Ansem the Wise, the leader of their research group and the ruler of Radiant Garden, but he wasn’t the leader of Organization XIII. That’s always been Xemnas.
The E.S. doesn’t look /exactly/ like Xehanort…there is a resemblance, but there is a resemblance between a lot of Nomura’s characters, because they’re all drawn by him. Xehanort has white hair and a darker complexion; the E.S. has very pale skin. Yes, the E.S. is related in some way to Riku, at the very least through his name. The relation to Riku is most likely symbolic, though, so don’t read too much into that statement.

I don’t think that Ansem has a Heartless or a Nobody, because he didn’t lose his heart, he was simply killed.

Jayme - Riku never became a Heartless and therefore doesn’t have and has never had a Nobody to be related to.
