Names Known of the Knights Confirmed!
TheWertle is currently translating an interview found in the Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ Ultimania:
The full translation will come soon, but it has been confirmed that the names of the three Knights in the secret ending are related to elements just like Sora, Kairi, and Riku are, and that two of the knights are indeed Aqua and Ven. Update: We now know the name of the Enigmatic Soldier is Terra thanks to another interview with Nomura! Click the images to enlarge them:
Nomura has also hinted that Ven and Roxas may be related in some way!
Kairi (similar to Umi) means Sea - Aqua means Water
Riku means Land - Terra means Earth
This is the Enigmatic Soldier for those who don’t know already.

did you guys no in kh3 (when it comes out:)) that it starts in the past and orginization13 where sombodys untill defeated by some kid i dont know who while yen sing was the first key blade holder it shows the first war between the nobodys(the orginization) and the nobodys that we no now and have defeted already but youre not sora for half of the game now thats all ican tell you know for if i tell you the rest of the game then it wont be any fun for you sincerly king mickey you know the one that owns a computer oh and umm whats all this DUM stuff about aqua and venn you guys are way off track who ever posted those notes is pretty dum no effence but just becouse there names all have to do with latin names for elements doesent mean theres some SECRET UNDER COVER GUY that nobody knows about like guys cmon youre going CrAzY over a game trust me ive played the game and beaten it ill tell you one more thing sora doesnt get any older and the best key blade you get is the darkness blade it kills a boss in about 50 hits and thats onn very hard mode piece out gamers

chasers can`t be the fourth stage of a person because I found out Sora,Mickey,Riku,and Kiari are chasers and they are somebodies.

I’ve always met with a lot of flak for suggesting that the mysterious soldier’s name might be ‘Ignus’, arguing that, if Ignus is Xehanort, then his name be tied with Darkness, not fire, and completely missing my point. (Besides, Aqua also thunder magic, as well as ice and Reflect. Just because your name is tied to an element doesn’t mean anything.)
Also, regarding the Sora, Riku and Kairi note: The Asian elements are Wood, Fire, Water, Metal and Earth. Since their names are tied to actual Japanese words, if they were meant to have ties to elements of nature rather than landscapes, their names would probably be similar to those listed above.
And if the Dark Knight (’Ignus’) is Xehanort, remember that his name rearranges to ‘Another’, indicating that he is out of place. Sora, Riku and Kairi don’t have ‘another’.

my friend says he has a relative in square enix and that the old guy is Xenohart and that he is Ansems butler or some babble. He forgets who he is or something and he also said that he is a soldier annd something about oh poo i lost what i was saying

I have the same theory as Jose but in a different way… there really should be four types of people
half hearted [either a mother or a father passing half of themselves onward to their children or something… ooor basically sora and riku and stuff since a person is made of both light and dark. because darkness does not mean heartless btw. Or it could be the soldiers being half of what the full heart is. or something… meh idk… you figure what im saying lol ]
full hearted - same as above kind of thing…
nobody - shell aka physical
heartless - spiritual i guess…

There are four warriors [well i think]… the dark heartless guy that un-merges with the bald guy as he is walking toward the three soldiers is a soldier… I know this because there are four main elements
fire
water
earth
wind
and each of the soldiers have a Latin name to represent an element.
water being the blue haired chick named Aqua
earth being the brown haired boy named Terra
wind being the blonde haired boy who looks very similar to Roxas (who’s name means war) is Ven
now who is missing?, we all know that the old man is MUCH older than the other soldiers… I believe that the old man has posessed the soldier much like how Ansem posessed Riku. Now what is the Latin word for fire? Ingnis!… I’m not saying this is his name… but if he is indeed a soldier it is going to have to be a latin name… All the soldiers in KH3 have latin names… The Hero’s Sora, Kairi and Riku have names of landscapes representing elements in Japanese.
Riku - Land
Kairi - Sea
Sora - Sky
but since there are only 3 of the elemental japanese names known now in KH2… there must be another closely related to Sora… Who has the name representing either hell heaven lava or volcano… possibly even weather.
You see… the names dont mean they ARE the element… It’s just structure… Because something I noticed about ignis is that he was using ice.
I also believe that the old man is the controller of heartless and that is exactly the reason why the soldiers became aggitated when they saw the dark soldier emerge from the old man.
The soldiers are meant to be the 4 soldiers of heartful in my eyes… dawn daylight dusk night… the four states of the day.
Darkness does not mean evil… Night was made for men to sleep.

It was Kairi’s grandmother in Hollow Bastion.
Ansem is not Riku’s Heartless. Ansem is Xehanort’s Heartless, and entered his body as a parasite feeding on Riku’s Darkness. Likewise, just because Sora’s heart held Kairi’s heart doesn’t then make Sora Kairi.
Yes, Namine is Kairi’s Nobody. Before anyone asks, not ALL Nobodies have Xs in their names, only those in Organization XIII (hence the X).

maybe the kh3 tells us bout the past before sora’s and might be the very first keybladers joined the keyblade war and secrets of xehanort’s pasts would revealed in it…

Yeah. Yen Sid had to be in possession of Star Seeker for quite some time, if he had time to give it to Mickey, get it BACK from Mickey, and then give it to Sora in KH2.

no problem:) well i wasn’t exactly aiming for death note volume 12, kira kira is just a nickname, but anyways…did anyone ever realize that mickey’s keyblade is star seeker-the one that sora gets after visiting yen sid?? Mickey was trained in the past by yen sid. so theres another piece of evidence that this cut scene is non-futuristic, just a thought;)

When the camera pulls back and we look down on Aqua and Ven (when the Old Man summons Kingdom Hearts), I thought he looked more like Cloud, really. (But Roxas and Cloud do look very similar…oh well. That was my first thought when I did my analysis on the Keyblades used in the movies.)

It could just be that they [Ven and Roxas] have the same hair and eye color and similar hairstyles…who knows?
