Names Known of the Knights Confirmed!
TheWertle is currently translating an interview found in the Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ Ultimania:
The full translation will come soon, but it has been confirmed that the names of the three Knights in the secret ending are related to elements just like Sora, Kairi, and Riku are, and that two of the knights are indeed Aqua and Ven. Update: We now know the name of the Enigmatic Soldier is Terra thanks to another interview with Nomura! Click the images to enlarge them:
Nomura has also hinted that Ven and Roxas may be related in some way!
Kairi (similar to Umi) means Sea - Aqua means Water
Riku means Land - Terra means Earth
This is the Enigmatic Soldier for those who don’t know already.

………..they say that the names of the new people are types of elements, which are also the meaning of sora, kairi, and rikku. and the word chasers mean those who decorates metal by engraving or embossing, or it means one that chases or pursues. and the names of the new people are chasers.i dont really know much about the storyline but so far sora, kairi, and riku arent in it….but it could be that the letter that was sent to sora and gang could of been sent by mickey after seeing wat the old man had done to the soldiers. i dont know wat this thing about roxas and ven, but it seems to me like he might be a part of the heartless/nobodies/and maybe a new one souless. he could be part of sora and roxas or could be roxas when sora was asleep and that might be the memories roxas forgot. also that bald guy could be xmenass *sryy dont know his name even though i love the game* memories or his souless.
also i happen to notice *idk if its right or not, say not though* that during the secret video that the bald guy eyes where yellowish and near the end of the video terra eyes became the same color as baldy, so that could mean he is the old mans past *which might be true cause if u notice his right arm is frozen by that old mans right arm*. or he could be one of the chasers that go back into darkness.
i hope to tune in more to give yall some useful stuff…

aqua doesn’t die. she just gets hurt. Ven on the other hand proably will(just a therory).what he meant by it takes place in the past but in the future only means that it’s the present. sora rikku and kairi are in the past and the chain of memory take place in the past and when he goes to sleep, they skipped into the future. that’s what i think. as if time stopped on everyone’s body but around them, time sped up.

but that still doesn’t explain Aqua’s armor with Organization 13! If the new game was to be based on them, it would be based on the past if aqua didn’t have her armor with her. And also, these people look a little older than sora, kairi, and riku.

ven’s full name is ventus here’s my theory when sora slays a nobody the soul is seperated and creates a “souless” also when sora rejoined with sora the body was left behind because sora already had one (this could be a chaser)it became ven the same with kairi and aqua also when riku regained his normal form the body of xehanort created one also at the begginning of the american secret trailer the structure has a nobody symbol on it xehanort rearranges into another and no heart also armored xemnas resembles the soldiers, xehanort probably used the keyblade to open the door in ansem’s basement

Hey maybe ven is roxas since he was frozen and somehow was asleep in castle oblivion and in the future he came back somehow getting a different name as said his name was roxas but wasnt he just given that name?Hwo knows where Aqua is.Hey on my last few comments in scenario mysteries i found quite a few interesting quotes off of deep dive like “Third enemy=nobody…Hwo is nobody you ask?They are the nonexistant ones.

I personally don’t think they’re Nobodies, but we don’t know. Nomura said that Ven ‘may be’ related to Roxas (since the comment was made that they look very similar), but we already know that they’re related in at least two ways, since their names are related to similar elements, and they both use Keyblades (though Ven picked up Riku’s Way To Dawn, while Terra, who shares Riku’s name element, took Sora’s Kingdom Key (which was bound for Riku in the first place)).
I’m pretty sure they’re separate beings from Sora (and thus Roxas), Riku and Kairi, since Braig saw the battle, Xehanort was there, Mickey was there (and theoretically, younger), and since Terra can be fought in FM+. (Plus, Aqua’s empty armor is in the chamber that Xemnas visits beneath the castle.)
Also, about the keychains: in theory, if you removed the Kingdom Key keychain from Sora’s Keyblade, you would be left with the Kingdom Key, right? And none of the Keyblades stuck in the dirt in the crossroads have Keychains (most likely, they’ve been scattered to the worlds). Obviously, this means that a Keyblade can exist sans Keychain, and since equipping Keychains makes your Keyblade more powerful, the Knight’s Keyblades are probably so powerful, they simply don’t need Keychains.

i wass thinking, i watch the kingdom hearts 3 trailer and in the trailer the keyblades hasent got that chain,just the old man keyblades got that chains.

i read in an interview with Nomura that KH2 FM+ was to be the last of the Kingdom Hearts Series on Play Station 2 and that all future games are to be on either Play Station 3 or another gaming system. But not to worry! By the time those future games come out the price will more than likeley be down for the PS3, and there will be alot more games for the system! yay:)

Even if they were working for Squeenix, they wouldn’t have played the game already. The game hasn’t been finished. The game probably hasn’t been STARTED. (Not including things like writing the story, beginning work on a script, some character art, etc.; I mean the programming and such.)
And the only conclusion I can logically reach is that Kitsune is a troll. There’s no way someone could read an article titled ‘Names of the Knights Confirmed!’ that has the names of the knights spelled out at least three times, one of those times being in bold, colorful letters on a picture of the character, and say that the names were not mentioned unless they were trolling.

It was in the Kingdom Hearts Ultimania article ‘Scenario Mysteries’ (the very last interview on the ‘Summary of Kingdom Hearts Interviews page on this site; the link is in my name) that Nomura states that the blue-haired girl is Aqua, and since the Enigmatic Soldier referenced the other two knights names, and since Aqua is the girl, that means that Ven is the one who looks like Roxas.

im reading the article at the top of this page, he makes no statment about any names he does mention that sora kairi and riku will not be starring in the third, but he also mentions that the person in the ice is Roxax, and will you please tell me what web site or you tube or whatever you found the information giving the names as aqua, ven and terra, i am still curious to see where you got this from

um hate to break it to you guys but i just finished reading that article that has been said to explain the new names of the people and the last line in the article states that the person in the ice is Roxas, not ven Roxas, thank you, mind telling me where ven came from?
