You also see what looks like Roxas training in the Coliseum as well as the new panel feature. Like accessories, the panels change your characters attributes.
358/2 Days Article in Game Informer
Recently, 358/2 Days was in Game Informer. Here is a scan and a description of what was in the article:
Now that Re:Chain of Memories has hit North America, Square Enix finally confirmed that “Three Five Eight Days Over Two” will release here as well. While Sora’s taking a year-long snooze between CoM and KH 2, players control Roxas as he joins and eventually leaves Organization XIII, A new 14th member of the organization, Xion, plays a major role in the story, though her motives are unclear at this point. Four-player local multiplayer lets fans control their favorite organization member as the work together (and against) each other to complete a series of missions. No U.S. release date has been announced, but using the February Japan launch as a guide, we won’t see 358/2 Days until late summer of early fall.
Zexion’s Voice Actor Confirmed
Still on the subject of 358/2 Days, Vincent Corazza has confirmed that he WILL return to play Zexion. This piece of news was revealed when a fan emailed him and he responded, confirming his return.

i find it strange how SE didn’t add any new worlds for roxas to go in. they are always the same. how about some new worlds please. like Lilo & Stitch, or treasure planet….i don’t know.

yeah…I agree. There’s so many worlds they haven’t done yet. Pocahontas is the only Disney Princess not seen yet (including her world), Dumbo’s world wasn’t feautured, and neither was Bambi’s world or Pinocchio’s world. Also they need to do 101 dalmations and Lady and the Tramp, etc. So much untapped classic animation that hasn’t even been touched with a four and half foot pole.

They probably don’t want to have new worlds for games that don’t directly deal with the main storyline…or the fact that 358/2 is in between KH and KH2 so the world(s) would have had to disappear.
Monstro is from Pinocchio master x =P…and why a four and a half foot pole lol. I agree that they need to do something about the summon character worlds since Mushu and Simba’s worlds were covered in KH2. Lady and the Tramp has to be the greatest idea that I can’t believe Disney hasn’t jumped on due to the storyline…the classic spaghetti scene with Sora and Kairi.

Gotta stop ya there on Pinocchip Sonicspeed. Although they wiki and facts have claimed Monstro as their world, in actuality Jiminy Cricket said in a cutscene with Goofy (or Donald I think) that his world was destroyed by the heartless (Monstro is not a world because A) he’s an animal and not made of soil or trees, etc. B) Monstro lacks the one thing all worlds have in KH: a keyhole!!!!) They should at least bring in some more new worlds in KH BBS and that future KH game that’ll tie in BBS, 358/2 days, and Coded. I also mentioned Lady and the Tramp because in Traverse Town, there was a fountain that belonged to that movie ‘Lady and the Tramp’ that ironically was in the 3rd District.

So you wouldn’t want to see Sora beating the living snot out of the Evil Emperor Zurg, fighting ‘Indians’ ‘Natives’ etc. with Indiana Jones, or fight Radcliffe with Pocahontas.

With U.S. release in late summer or early fall that means that U.S. release of BBS probably won’t be until 2010 =(
Well I tried master x lol. I haven’t seen Lady and the Tramp since maybe it came out so I didn’t remember the fountain thing, but that is cool. “I am your father” haha…Evil Emperor Zurg would be fun. Toy Story: Woody: “Sora you are a TOY!!” lol
vinvin: If you don’t want Disney worlds then you may want to stick with Final Fantasy cause KH would be an awfully boring game without too much of a storyline if there wasn’t Disney worlds.

I sorta just browsed that last fact about Lady and the Tramp since Traverse Town is (or was if it ended up like End of the World and disappeared forever) and in the 3rd district (one that leads off to Merlin’s house there) that giant yellow fountain there is from the Lady and the Tramp.

i’m just saying. with all the same worlds as the first and second game…it seems kind of like SE didn’t feel like designing areas for new worlds and just smacked them down on a ds game. it might seem a little boring training with roxas in worlds i’ve been to a bunch of times.oh well. BBS is believable because it has new worlds in it.
and how about some final fantasy worlds too.

so why play kingdom hearts then is the main question here? I hope you don’t take offense to this vinvin, but all the stuff you suggest is just not in essence the kingdom hearts series that we have started out with in 2002. Even Birth by Sleep will have its limits as to how mature they can go. There is a major difference between Disney and Family Guy people!!! Family guy is a classic example of an idea just gone down the tubes. Their jokes were (and are to a certain extent funny), but now its less spontaneous and just plain fart jokes. The same thing would apply to kh. They just can’t make it into very violent bloody game like Cold Fear, Killzone, or Inuyasha. It would make SE lose its credibility with the series. I agree that the game could be less lovey dovey and a little more mature, but still there are limits too you can do once you get a game off the ground. KH has unfortunately stuck itself in the same position it is in and will stay that way until fans demand a change to it.

I have to agree with you entirely master x. Disney has the reputation of being a company for the whole family. Some people would like more action…or cussing??…but when you mature enough you realize that action and cussing (can’t get over that one on how it makes anything better…I hated lots of movies because of too much cussing no matter how good the story was) don’t make a game or movie.
Also better music?? Seriously?? SE and Disney are both widely known for amazing music scores. I have the soundtracks from both KH and KH2 and they are my favorite classical/soundtrack music I’ve heard. KH and KH2 have 2 of the greatest musical scores of any game thus far (Super Mario may be the winner in the category).
