Kingdom Hearts Insider translated a blog that released a new detail regarding the battle system for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days:

When the player’s HP drops and the HP gauge turns red, the player can initiate a Limit Break by holding down the A button for a few seconds. During the Limit Break, the player’s speed and attack power increases.

More details about the battle system are expected to arise now that the release date is fast approaching.

The official Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days site updated with a bushel of new information! The game will be released in Japan May 30, 2009! Along with the release date, a new DSi bundle was announced (seen below).

As if this day could not get any better for 358/2 Days fans, you can import the game from Play-Asia. However, the DSi is currently Japan-only and no news regarding international releases for the special DSi have be released.

The official Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days website received an update. Two new scenes in the Events section were added.
Event eight features a scene between Namine and DiZ, then a scene between Namine and Xion.
Event nine contains a conversation between Roxas, Axel, and Saix.

Sorry for the delay folks, I’ve had a pretty busy week with midterms and a big project.

First up is an update by Minimin’s Memo regarding an article featuring Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days in the April edition of V-Jump, which was released on the 21st.

The article contains new information on the Customize feature of 358/2 Days. According to the Customize feature, there are variations in magic of the same type, resulting in different effects. For example, Blizzard is a strong attack but it can only hit one enemy at a time, while Blizzara freezes multiple enemies in blocks of ice but has a short attack range. And then Blizzaga is strong and effective, but takes time to cast.

Furthermore, the weapon of each member can be customized using the Panel system. Like Luxord’s cards can become wide range type or a magic type, and Xaldin’s lances can become a strong aerial fighting type or a magic reinforcing type.
