RE: CoM Cast Update
There was a rumor going around that the position for Naminé’s voice was up for grabs. It is now official that Meaghan Jette Martin will be her voice; she is replacing Brittany Snow, who was Naminé’s original voice. Meaghan appeared on the DIsney Channel Original Movie “Camp Rock” as “Tess”. No reason has been released as to why Naminé’s voice was recasted, but this is not the first time that something like this has happened; “Ansem”/Xehanort was voiced by Billy Zane but is now voiced by Richard Epcar.
Whether or not Meaghan will voice Naminé in 358/2 Days or any other Kingdom Hearts game is unknown at this time.
Rumors about Tara Platt being the voice actor for Larxene has been trumped when she had this to say:
Sorry I am not in Kingdom Hearts. But it is a great game series!
Best, Tara

Quinton Flynn Returns To Voice Axel???
Recently, Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories has received numerous rumors, only to be confirmed by Square in an official update. It only makes sense that people will begin to ask, “Will the original voice actors return?”.
One actor, commonly referred to as Quinton Flynn, runs a website along with Jeff Nimoy called Adventures In Anime; appropriately named since Quinton has an extensive list of video games he has voiced as well as voicing characters in Digimon, and because Jeff wrote and directed Digimon seasons 1,2, and 5 as well as the movie.
The website also houses a forum where users can ask them questions. One question popped up:
Hey Quinton. I have a question regarding Axel. kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories is being released in North America in December. I was wondering if Square Enix have contacted you about voicing Axel?
Quinton’s response to this, and another question, was both,
What’s the opposite of no?

And
Everyone should be very happy! That’s all I can say.
Unfortunately, this cannot be regarded as an official announcement (sorry) mostly because this is, if you haven’t noticed, the internet. He could be teasing fans, trying to make them squeal, or telling the truth. It’s hard to tell these days.
However you look at it, it seems very plausible. Stay tuned as we bring you any and all Kingdom Hearts news.

[Still A Rumor] Re:CoM Overseas Release Confirmation
The GameStop Expo is full of rumors this year. Another announcement was made by 1up.com about Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories being released on the Playstation 2.
For Sony fans, it looks like the Game Boy Advance title Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories will be receiving a surprise port to the PlayStation 2 this fall. The new title is rumored to feature “all new 3D bosses and cut scenes,” and should retail for $29.99.
Keep in mind that this is, once again, still a rumor until an official announcement from Square. Since there is a set price, it seems very unlikely that this will remain a rumor for long.

[RUMOR] Re:CoM Going Overseas?
A rumor is going around that during Square Enix’s presentation at the GameStop Expo, yesterday, KH CoM was mentioned being released on the PS2. But that’s not all! There’s a good chance it could be released outside of Japan!
Once Square-Enix was up, there was a small mention of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. When asked if it was the one that was included with Final Mix II in Japan, they confirmed it with a nod. There hasn’t been any official announcement through Square, just a small mention…
This is congruent with the rumor in July that an English voice cast audition was held, which means that there is a good chance that this rumor is true. However, until an official announcement from Square Enix has been made, this will also run under the category of Rumor.
