Playstation Move
Allow me to make a stretch, if you will.
Sony revealed their new controller, the Playstation Move at the Game Developer Conference not too long ago.
It is similar in function to the remotes the Nintendo Wii, but utilize a 3 Axis Gyroscope and a 3 Axis Accelerometer with higher sensitivity to the Wii controller. The Move controller works in partnership with a camera system (Playstation Eye) and a colored globe that is at the end of the controller. The combination of the MEMS control and the optics system provides a perceived faster response (sub 1 frame of latency) than the Wii motion plus, but with the same feedback and accuracy.

According to SilliconEra, the Square Enix Group is on the list of “developers and publishers that would be supporting their “Move” peripheral. ”
What does that mean for the future of the Kingdom Hearts games? Does this mean that we will have the option to use this new controller and actually swing keyblades and sticks instead of button mashing? Nothing has been announced yet, but the trailer for the controller does plant seeds of hope in me. Check it out:

Hey, that possibly could mean that the Wii will be a choice for Kingdom Hearts as well.
Square has a good history with Nintendo, so it would be nice to see KH on there.

I doubt there will be a wii version(i hope there is one because the more people play,the better) because kh jumped in nintendo handheld since there was no sony handheld at that time and because wii is far more inferior graphic-wise than ps3.

Why is everyone coming out with these ‘realistic’ games? whats wrong with a controller? it jus seems like a lot more effort in playing a game with limitations in gameplay.
The only advantage(like the wii) would be parties.
that’s it.
I will only b impressed once you can physically feel objects in a game.

I think it would be so cool to play kh on that.Maybe kh wil come on wii.Because I won’t be able 2 afford the playstation move.Has anybody here had that problem?Like when there’s a new game out but u can’t buy it cause of the console u don’t have.

I hope itz on the dumb azx XBOX i ended up having to get be cuz i didn’t wnt to order a PS3 they were sold out every where so i settle 4 the BOX an i totally forgot that KH III wz going to be on PS3. Should i slap my self? LOL

kingdom hearts 3 has been offically announced but it may be slow because nomura is working on final fantasy 13 versus, also there is to more kingdom hearts projects in the works and nomura wants to get one kingdom heart title out this year

yeah, and nomura is actually working on 2 other unannounced kh titles other than kh3 right now. he plans on releasing one of those within the year

Whats the difference between this and the wii? Its practically the same thing. Though if there is a possibility if the playstation move has a choice for KH it MAY have a decision to a wii too.

Well sorry guys for bringing problematic thoughts to your fantasies but how are you supposed to swing the keyblade 360 degrees,in circle motion several times?

kh1 was pretty simple it had not many complex moves.
kh2 had a lot of complex moves.
how will kh3 be?guess not less complex,so this theory wont be easy to realize.
just thinking about the ragnarok,blitz,transformations etc you’ll have to be a ninja to do them correctly. ^^
and even ninjas cant fly,remember sora levitating?
this will be a REALLY hard job,if possible to do.

yeah guys this is all speculation, it’s just impossible to do the moves, but with you go ninja , then maybe you could do 2 or 3 moves, i think its just impossible due to the complexity of the moves

Three new Kingdom Hearts games are in development: Kingdom Hearts III along with two other untitled games.[23] The first of the untitled Kingdom Hearts games is expected to be released in 2010, which he mentioned earlier in an interview on Twitter.[24] The game is also expected to focus on Sora as well as another character who has been cited by series director, Tetsuya Nomura, in an interview with Famitsu in February 2010, as being “the center of the series”[25] who was later revealed to be Xehanort.[23] Nomura has previously stated that one of the future games would be connected to 358/2 Days, Coded and Birth by Sleep, and would be more of a main game than a spin-off or sidestory. The game was teased in a secret movie, titled Reconnect. Kingdom Hearts, shown as the secret ending to Birth by Sleep.[26][27]
The second of the untitled Kingdom Hearts games will be released in 2011 and will focus on multiple main characters.[23] In addition, Kingdom Hearts III is currently in the conceptual stages which would mean that it would be the last to be released out of the three upcoming games, Kingdom Hearts III will also not end the series; only what Nomura calls the “Xehanort Saga” involving Sora’s encounters with Xehanort. He also adds that the series will not continue on with a new protagonist instead “Sora will be the hero till the end”.[23] This release schedule fits with a recent statement Nomura made in which he said he wanted to release at least one Kingdom Hearts title a year.[25] The upcoming games were revealed during an interview with Nomura in March 2010 which was part of the Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Ultimania, a companion guidebook for Birth by Sleep by Square Enix.[23]

The thing is, everyone is moaning about it being the wii. No- the wii is for wii games only. With the PS3 Move, you can play all the wonders of the ps3, with the added bonus of being able to get something which is like the wii.
What i am saying is that, yeah ok, funtions as a wii. But you canplay more then just “wii stlye” games with it.

Oh dear lord i hope not- KH3 and beyond MUST retain classic controls, the whole wii thing is fun but there are games that are tailored for THAT and games that are tailored for actual controllers!

I’m gonna predict right here and now that you people will be swinging those keyblades very, very soon.
And you’ll definitely see this come to the Move. I mean, the Playstation 3 is almost a given right?
Most of you people obviously have no clue what a general Wii motion title does, so let me enlighten you as to how motion controls are implemented and WILL BE implemented in your PS3 move games. It shall be designed with TWO control shemes. One with the motion controls, the other without and will support whatever dual analog controller you want. Its how the Wii does things unless its Wii Sports. Since Sony is basically a copycat – expect them to do the same.
So, the next Kingdom Hearts game for consoles is gonna support motion controls. And that begs the more interesting question. What systems will it port to, if any? XBOX 360? Can’t do motion controls there. That’s the idiotic Natal which is different from the Wii and Sony (who despite what people say, are basically the same thing). Still – I think there is a good chance the 360 will see a controller only port of a Kingdom Hearts title. SE seems like its open to the idea of Microsoft ports – even though they might not really be excited about it. Nintendo? Aaahh….the clincher.
The big question is, how far is SE gonna take the series graphically? Are they gonna ratchet these games up so much that the Wii can’t possibly handle ‘em? If not – then expect a Nintendo port with the same control schematics as the PS3. If they are – then Nintendo is gonna get a spin-off game of their own. BET ON IT.
But motion controls? Oh you betcha. You don’t watch Sora swing that keyblade around and not think, “What would happen if you actually swung the keyblade around?” Think Zelda style motion control though – not the mythical 1:1 control which really doesn’t make sense in any fantasy game. I’d almost bet the bank on it at this point.

Just in case you guys didn’t know… KH3 has been announced as in it’s conceptual stages in a recent ultimania interview… Just thought I would say as your site still says it hasn’t been announced… Great news though methinks! As well as the fact that 2 other games are being developed alongside KH3… Wherever they get all this time do make so many games it once is beyond me

and now its june…… i think square enix should make at least one or two of those new kh games for ps2 so people dont have to get a new system just to get a kh game the ps3 move with kh is a stupid idea button mashing iz funn!
