i really think that they should of kept the old characters, the storyline will be ruined. I live in a town full of KH fans and they all agree that you shouldve kept it, NOONE LIKES IT!!!

Well they have to be in there somewhere because Disney is part of the game too. Mickey didn’t look very different.

Its cool how there are previews now, but what happened to the other characters? Did they die?
Are they grown up? Or did they fade away? Now when KH3 comes out everyone is going to be like, “Where’s Sora, Kairi, and Riku?” Its like the story got ripped out of the book.

kinda looks like Sora only in a grownup version.
Although, if Sora, Kairi, and Riku show up somewhere in the game and there adults…then the story skipped

That video to me hasnt hpn yet, it could be the future, and yes Sora, Riku and Kairi are going to be in this game, regardless or all the new caracters, normaly these videos are made 1st for us to start thinking who is this and who is that.. but the event hpning there looks like a final batle of a game or story, they wouldnt put it on if it was anyways that my point, it would be showing to much, and trust me they dont want that. deferent story new and OLD caracters will be on it…

When i say deferent, meaning.. it a whole new part of the story that no one xpected, like the unknown really, no one knew the existance till info start coming out. To me KH1 could of ended there, and it would of been an amazing game.. Sora’s Story contenues… leeding to something completly deferent… and i hope that guy with brown hair is Sora, cause damn he looks cool, but that video for all we know can be someone dreaming the future..

I think that it is good that they got new characters also. i mean, why would we want the same ones all the time? it would seem a little pointless if they kept the same ones over and over again. this was to be expected. all the ff games had new characters too. And the new characters seem cool, especially the blue headed woman!! XD. i also heard that it was for the wii also. ^_^. that would be sweet!!!

I think that it is good that they are getting new characters and a new plot to the story. I hope that the game ties all the lose ends together and make some new ones. They need to being Roxas back in kh3. And some how link the knights to Sora and the King. It should be fun to see how the connect it all together.

Does anyone know when kh3 comes out????

First off, atleast Roxas is almost guaranteed to be in it. I do think that Sora and/or Riku will make an appearance, you may not get to use them but they probably will have some part of what ever will be going on. And I heard some people saying that this might be a prequel, obviously it won’t be since it says that this was caused because of “Birth by Sleep” which seems to be a referance to sora being put in the pod and roxas is in it.

If you guys want to find out about the real plot then read this. But this is my theory i gathered from playing kingdom hearts again and again.

Years before Sora, Riku, and Kairi came along there was great keyblade war. In a place between worlds, there were those known as “Chasers”, those who had manifested great power and chanelled it through weapons they experly crafted known as the Keyblades. There were four Chasers.

The Chasers all had to power to create, save, destroy and lock world’s hearts. Their keyblade gave them enough power to unlock the energy of a worlds physical heart and be able to move from world to world.

The Chasers began to follow their own ambitions. In the place between worlds, where all of their keyblades laid to rest, the four seperated. Two followed the path of light, bringing life to the worlds, following the paths of Light and Twilight. The other two, they grew unhappy and decided that those who did not respect them should perish. They followed the path of Darkness. They began to bring destruction to worlds, destroying them.

One of the two Dark Chasers realized the faults in his ways and decided to back out. Much as Riku did, this Chaser follows the path of Dawn back to the Crossroads where he is forgiven for his ways. The final Chaser, the one they called Xehanort, would not give up, would not give in. The war began, it is unknown for how long this terrible time lasted. It has been recorded though and the Chasers are much like gods.

The war was either between great armies or just between the four Chasers, either way, the Dark Chaser, the Dark Keyblade Master known as Xehanort fought against the others in a great Keyblade war.

Xehanort was defeated, and with that, he lost something dear: his memory. Cast away he was born again by sleep. Waking up in the world of Radiant Garden, almost dead, a great Saint known as Ansem found him and offered his assistance. He promised to help him and when he realized the man’s memory was gone, he offered to help restore it.

The Chasers each had the ability to spread their power to a disciple or their spirits lived on through a bloodline or chosen ones. Passing their power on to make sure to Order of the Worlds was kept safe.

One Keyblade went to the King of all the Worlds: Mickey.

When Xehanort began to believe he was in fact Ansem, his fascination with the Keyblades grew. Unknowning even to himself who he was.

When the Heartless were born and began to create chaos, Riku was chosen to weild the next Keyblade, to save the people from destruction while Mickey was in the World of Darkness. But, Riku’s heart was tainted by his willingness to let darkness overcome him and the Keyblade was passed on to Sora.

After being selected first and later overcome by Xehanort, Xehanort was able to harvest his power to reclaim his Dark Keyblade and thus, Riku was able to have his own.

The final Keyblade was unnecessary until later, when the goodness and innocence of Kairi was able to bring hope to the other Keyblade Weilders and she too was chosen.

Roxas only had ones because he is an element of Sora.

After their adventures had ended, Mickey sends a troubling letter to Sora, Kairi and Riku. A letter that reveals Xehanort’s next plot. That he has perhaps remembered his true self. A plot to destroy the other Chasers, a plot to be the one and only Keyblade Master.

A great beast is sent to the Crossroads between worlds but is slain by one of the Chasers. The others appear from their selected paths and reclaim their Keyblades, as though they haven’t been touched in a long time. They look to the road of Darkness and the shady figure of Xehanort moves forward. Through his time within Riku, he is essentially “reborn” and while Riku tries to remove him, he is never gone. With enough power he returns to the Crossroads and a great war is about to begin once again. One that will decide the fate of the Chasers and all of those who hold a Keyblade…

hey evry1.I just want to inform that in kh3 there will be new main characters..but they wont leave out sora and the gang cuz they CANT. sora riku and kairi will be in kh3 but not as the main characters becuz i think the letter the king sent to them was bout the upcoming keyblade war that xenort has been revived from his memories and he is coming back for vengence against the chasers which will cause maybe the destruction of kingdom hearts or the worlds… I say this beacuse i think the person in the secret video of kh2 is walking toward the chasers at the end of kh2 secret ending is xehnort because he was awakened which is birth by sleep and on the movie u can see that the three chasers pick up thier keyblaeds which look like they havent been used in a while, and they stare at xehnort who is walking toward them from the realm of darkness and is back for revenge on them which causes The Great Keyblade War. i think this is wat wil happen according to ansem reports and the kh secret endings and stuff.

will you said that Roxas might be a form of sora’s in KH3. Or may theory is darkness must defeat darkness so Roxas will be more nessacary than Sora so the two might be seperated or maybe sort of switched round so Sora becomes the nobody and ROxas becomes the Real Guy! Just a theory. Or another is like i’ve said before one of the guys looks like sora older and roxas as he did in KH2 . maybe Roxas is Sora’s son init and he carried on the family business and kicks heartless ass. tell us what u fink!!

I agree that the storyline for the next game should be darker and have more twists. There needs to be another aspect to the heart… to Kingdom Hearts that hasn’t been touched upon, and somehow I feel Xehanort needs to be the bad guy again, in SOME new form.

i watched the preview and i think that there are limitless possibilities of what is going on.. There are many rumors or theories and i ignore them. Kingdomhearts is known for its solid and amazing storyline so i think we should let it go and leave the imagining to ourselves. Well id like to know what you guys think.

OK, here is my perspective on the whole
“Sora Riku and Kairi aren’t in KH3!!”

I think that they are. The producers only said that the characters in the MOVIE weren’t Sora Riku and Kairi. And from the second part of the movie, you can tell that it’s not them.
But anyway, we don’t know when that happened in the Kingdom Hearts time stream, so it could be in the past and it could be in the future, who knows?
And I think that the evil old dude is like…Ansem in another form. Because is KH1, you had to fight the imposter’s HEARTLESS.
In KH2 you had to fight the Heartless’ NOBODY.
See? You’re fighing the main boss, Ansem, in both games so far.

So, all in all, I think that KH3 was shot in the PAST.
And I think that Sora Rikku and Kairi will ALL come into play.
I also believe, from my readings, that the old man is a form of Ansem…somehow.

Ok, here is my prediction, there are for chasers, the old bald guy is one of them but then he turns evel, and I think the old guy is Xemnas, so the 3 chasers have a little battle agenst Xemnas, some how the other three chasers win and Xemnas loses his memory and is reborn ( birth by sleep ) and does not remember who he is, so then Ansem comes to help him out and promisis to take care of him, and this is all happining in the past, so then thats when Xemnes turns evel and belieavs he’s Ansem and so forth… The note from the king to sora is to probibly warn Sora and the others that Xemnas is probibly getting his memory back and realizing who he is and how much power he poseses, so I think they are showing what happend in the past and the story makes its way back to the present. wit Sora and them, so Sora is probibly goin to be in the game, just not till the end.

those three chasers are, in fact… Sora, Riku and Kairi as adults, fighting for King mickey to protect Kingdom Hearts or something…
Do you think that maybe, just maybe… KH3 will be based around a huge war between king mickeys forces and the three Keyblade Masters - A.K.A. “Chasers” and some new, unknown force… similar to the Heartless and the Nobodies. after all… we covered the Heart, and Body… maybe there is a third factor. Soul? Mind? Who knows?

yeah… i kinda missed that part. i like to think of myself as a die-hard KH fan, but i had only just learnt of the possibillity of a KH3.
i hate this talk of Sora maybe being removed…

if you see the full trailer, you see Mickey, right?
well… who in their right mind would keep Mickey but ditch Sora and the gang? Sora, Riku, Kairi… they are all major players in the KH games. though i will admit it would be horrible if they had been dropped from KH3 - you have to admit, that will still be a friggin awesome game. KH has never let me down before (except for CoM… that was a bit lame)
Also, just imagine how much fun a game would be where Keyblades have become such common place that there are thousands.

well… i suppose it could just be one of those things where the start of the game is based in the past, to help u better understand just what is going on in the game after that part…
but that’s another thing… i don’t think it is in the past.
in the trailer we see the “chasers” picking up keyblades in the middle of the cross-roads. those are the three weapons of Kairi, Sora, and Riku… it can’t be in the past if those three keyblades are in it… this trailer MUST be based in the future, after Sora and the others got the letter, and maybe even after they had all died, lookin at the way the chasers treated those keyblades as historical monuments. it might even be a possibility that KH3 pulls a terminator, and shows the future before you play the game.

But… it has been confirmed that the old dude in the trailer IS Xehanort, because of an optional boss in KH2 Final Mix. (If you don’t know, you actually fight one of the three Chasers, and he goes on about how he hates Xehanort) Look at Xehanort in the trailer. He is FREAKING OLD!
How can it be in the past if Xehanort is younger in KH2 than he is in the trailer. Unless he ages backwards, or something… And you can’t say it is because Nobodies and Heartless are different ages to their human counterparts-since Sora’s Nobody (Roxas) was the same age as he was.
Maybe… a good explanation is going back to my “Third Aspect” theory, and that is not the complete Xehanort in the trailers, but the remains of an incredibly powerful person loosing there Heart and Body to become something entirely different from a Heartless or a Nobody.
And I know that is contradicting what we already know, that Xehanort became a Heartless while working for Ansem…
I suppose you may be right, though… because the optional boss actually says stuff like “you are the one I chose” or something like that… it just looks like the optional boss is in the past.

Just a little food-for-thought…
The trailer show Xehanort kicking major ass. So… how did he wind up arriving at Ansem’s door all beaten up and with no memory. Add that to the fact Mickey was in the trailer, but has NO memory of what when he tells you about Xehanort in KH2. Do you think that could be the results of the both of them going through Castle Oblivion at one point or another? If it is… why?

Nomura has stated in the past that the “New Project” MAY be a “Non-game project” and that it WILL NOT have “Kingdom Hearts” in the title.
Nomura has now stated that this project may be an interesting side-story focusing on characters other than Sora, although Sora still has a big role.
He should be explaining “Birth By Sleep” a bit more, what Mickey did in the World of Darkness, and how Mickey got his Keyblade.
He’ll want to work on developing Roxas the MOST. He thinks it’s interesting that his birth and disappearance have both been drawn within a year.
He wants to make this “New Project” slightly different from the Kingdom Hearts series including slight changes in the system.
The armoured figures in the “Birth By Sleep” video are connected to Xemnas/Xehanort. There may be elaboration on this.
Nomura has previously confirmed that after the Final Fantasy XIII games, he will be concentrating on the story of Kingdom Hearts.
Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ was confirmed to be Nomura’s final PlayStation 2 game, and therefore any future Kingdom Hearts games will only be on PlayStation 3 or possibly other gaming systems.
The “New Project” should be announced soon, although Nomura wants to keep the title a secret for awhile and tell us at just the right time.
Multi-developing makes Nomura want to put the “New Project” on another system. If he does, he wants to decide whether to make it for PSP, Nintendo DS or mobile phones.
Square-Enix are currently working on three projects in total. One of them is confirmed to be Final Fantasy Versus XIII, but it’s unknown what the other two are. They’re unrelated to eachother though.

but still… i have done some digging of my own, and, more-or-less decided the trailer is in the past… making me feel kinda silly.
i believe that jessielinn’s theory about that balled dude being the Original Xehanort, (mainly because of the E.S. in Final Mix+) has merit. but i feel stubborn today, so, i am still gonna stress my “Third Element” idea for now… at least till proof against it comes out.

jessielinn, the way i see it there are one of three possibilities… one is that because the worlds were separated, everyone lost there memories of what happened while the worlds were all connected… two is that when Namine was piecing Sora’s memories back together, she needed to take them from the people Sora had made contact with, as she did not know them herself… and three is it could just be an unexpected side effect of Sora loosing his memories in Castle Oblivion - like, if he forgets about them, there is nothing connecting his heart to theirs, and so they loose their memories, too.

just so you all know… the mixup without a capital M aint me… just some wannabe. whhenever I am talkin, i have a Capital M at the start.
given what KH Playbunny has pointed out about the names… there is a link between them. Sora, Ven (Sky, Wind) Kairi, Aqua (Ocean, Water) seeing as how Riku is Land… the E.S. must be Earth… we just need to figure out what word that means Earth it is…

the game that we are all talkin about won’t even be called Kingdom Hearts 3. it is gonna be an entirely new game (rumoured to be a series) that is bassed on the KH games… from that we can more-or-less guess that Sora and the others will be in it, however, they will probably be major, non-playable characters.
this game will be something WAY different to the kingdom hearts games but it will have the same overall story to it… i would even go so far as to say that this game is being made as a sort of prequel to the real Kingdom Hearts 3, and you will probably need to play this new one to fully understand KH3.

impossible… the trailer is based in the past, way before Sora was born… and Roxas is Sora’s nobody, so for Ven to be Roxas, this game would need to be based after KH1. and it can’t be Roxas because he was absorbed back into Sora near the end of KH2.
All the facts point to someone entirely new, that we haven’t seen before. besides… Ven don’t look THAT much like Roxas.

that is a good idea, and given that the old dude is Xehanort… the trailer can’t be based that far in the past, as he is found by Ansem before KH1. but, correct me if i am wrong, but didn’t Ven die at the end of the trailer?
also… it has to be some time in the past, because of the fact this huge war in the trailer just seems like history… know what i mean? everything about the trailer points to this being in the distant past, but still recent enough for Xehanort to be reborn and reach the age he is in KH2.

well if ven didnt die then i say he’s soras dad. my bff since pre-k showed me a under ground preview that her uncal, who work for the makers of kh3, “supposidly” gave her. enny how it’s like this you see this room that looks like its floating & made of glass. the background is like this purple haze. At first you see Sora with Kiari, Donald, & Goofy they all have new out fits. then they move to the next room witch is like an arena. so they don’t give a damn & keep going. the last room is like a circle cut in half. there are three platforms. the one in the middle is elivaded. there are allso nobody sings used as doors. agian the on in the middle is diffrent it’s pinkish well the outhers are black. opon entering this room xemnas is seen looking out over an ocean of blue. sora jumps up & demands to know why hes there. with out saying a word xemnas stabs kiari & runs to the door to the left of the pink one. soraruns to kiari’s side, & helps her up. she looks ok theres no bleeding but she’s uncontus. carrying kiari on his sholuder sora & friends chase affter xemnas. they end up in the same room they started in but now its leaf green & resimbles a forist. xemnas is gon sora poots kiari down & sits. hes pissed off & ready for a fight . then all of the sudden kiari atacks sora. donald quickly stops her. the group soon finds that kiari is without actual body, heart, & now sole. grouling “xemnas i’ll kill you for this!” sora then starts to cry. agian his whole world & bff’s are gone. eventaly they move to the next room. now the arena is a giant lab the are thousands of test tubes filled with hearts. sora desperatly searches for kiaris heart. Then a long lost & yet southingly familiar voice comes to sora & says, “sora your mind can tell you nouthing at this point. Sora hear your heart your heart & you will find what your sourching for.” I realy dought that my BFF actual got this for the game people but it’s still verry intresting.
