   If you guys want to find out about the real plot then read this. But this is my theory i gathered from playing kingdom hearts again and again.

   Years before Sora, Riku, and Kairi came along there was great keyblade war. In a place between worlds, there were those known as “Chasers”, those who had manifested great power and chanelled it through weapons they experly crafted known as the Keyblades. There were four Chasers.

   The Chasers all had to power to create, save, destroy and lock world’s hearts. Their keyblade gave them enough power to unlock the energy of a worlds physical heart and be able to move from world to world.

   The Chasers began to follow their own ambitions. In the place between worlds, where all of their keyblades laid to rest, the four seperated. Two followed the path of light, bringing life to the worlds, following the paths of Light and Twilight. The other two, they grew unhappy and decided that those who did not respect them should perish. They followed the path of Darkness. They began to bring destruction to worlds, destroying them.

   One of the two Dark Chasers realized the faults in his ways and decided to back out. Much as Riku did, this Chaser follows the path of Dawn back to the Crossroads where he is forgiven for his ways. The final Chaser, the one they called Xehanort, would not give up, would not give in. The war began, it is unknown for how long this terrible time lasted. It has been recorded though and the Chasers are much like gods.

   The war was either between great armies or just between the four Chasers, either way, the Dark Chaser, the Dark Keyblade Master known as Xehanort fought against the others in a great Keyblade war.

   Xehanort was defeated, and with that, he lost something dear: his memory. Cast away he was born again by sleep. Waking up in the world of Radiant Garden, almost dead, a great Saint known as Ansem found him and offered his assistance. He promised to help him and when he realized the man’s memory was gone, he offered to help restore it.

   The Chasers each had the ability to spread their power to a disciple or their spirits lived on through a bloodline or chosen ones. Passing their power on to make sure to Order of the Worlds was kept safe.

   One Keyblade went to the King of all the Worlds: Mickey.

   When Xehanort began to believe he was in fact Ansem, his fascination with the Keyblades grew. Unknowning even to himself who he was.

   When the Heartless were born and began to create chaos, Riku was chosen to weild the next Keyblade, to save the people from destruction while Mickey was in the World of Darkness. But, Riku’s heart was tainted by his willingness to let darkness overcome him and the Keyblade was passed on to Sora.

   After being selected first and later overcome by Xehanort, Xehanort was able to harvest his power to reclaim his Dark Keyblade and thus, Riku was able to have his own.

   The final Keyblade was unnecessary until later, when the goodness and innocence of Kairi was able to bring hope to the other Keyblade Weilders and she too was chosen.

   Roxas only had ones because he is an element of Sora.

   After their adventures had ended, Mickey sends a troubling letter to Sora, Kairi and Riku. A letter that reveals Xehanort’s next plot. That he has perhaps remembered his true self. A plot to destroy the other Chasers, a plot to be the one and only Keyblade Master.

   A great beast is sent to the Crossroads between worlds but is slain by one of the Chasers. The others appear from their selected paths and reclaim their Keyblades, as though they haven’t been touched in a long time. They look to the road of Darkness and the shady figure of Xehanort moves forward. Through his time within Riku, he is essentially “reborn” and while Riku tries to remove him, he is never gone. With enough power he returns to the Crossroads and a great war is about to begin once again. One that will decide the fate of the Chasers and all of those who hold a Keyblade…

   I think kh3 will come out in 2010. BTW dont buy kh2 final mx if u dont noe how to read japenese.

   First off, atleast Roxas is almost guaranteed to be in it. I do think that Sora and/or Riku will make an appearance, you may not get to use them but they probably will have some part of what ever will be going on. And I heard some people saying that this might be a prequel, obviously it won’t be since it says that this was caused because of “Birth by Sleep” which seems to be a referance to sora being put in the pod and roxas is in it.

   I think that it is good that they are getting new characters and a new plot to the story. I hope that the game ties all the lose ends together and make some new ones. They need to being Roxas back in kh3. And some how link the knights to Sora and the King. It should be fun to see how the connect it all together.

   Does anyone know when kh3 comes out????

   I have heared from people that it might come out around fall.

   Sora Hikari how the hell do u know the characters are called that? Final Mix has only just come out. i doubt they would be giving out the names yet.

   CC you’re mentally challenged because stated by Tetsuya Nomura that the knights are all BRAND NEW characters!!!!! also the blue haired girl is named Aqua and one of the other knights are named Ven and the other i don’t know yet

   i just saw a video for kh3 that in the begining looked like it was a god of war game but at the end mickey came out with his keyblade and it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cant wait for it to come out in the US

    I think that it is good that they got new characters also. i mean, why would we want the same ones all the time? it would seem a little pointless if they kept the same ones over and over again. this was to be expected. all the ff games had new characters too. And the new characters seem cool, especially the blue headed woman!! XD. i also heard that it was for the wii also. ^_^. that would be sweet!!!

    When i say deferent, meaning.. it a whole new part of the story that no one xpected, like the unknown really, no one knew the existance till info start coming out. To me KH1 could of ended there, and it would of been an amazing game.. Sora’s Story contenues… leeding to something completly deferent… and i hope that guy with brown hair is Sora, cause damn he looks cool, but that video for all we know can be someone dreaming the future..

    That video to me hasnt hpn yet, it could be the future, and yes Sora, Riku and Kairi are going to be in this game, regardless or all the new caracters, normaly these videos are made 1st for us to start thinking who is this and who is that.. but the event hpning there looks like a final batle of a game or story, they wouldnt put it on if it was anyways that my point, it would be showing to much, and trust me they dont want that. deferent story new and OLD caracters will be on it…

    I saw in the trailer that at the end when the girl with blue hair looks at other knightish guy,he had blonde hair!Just like Roxas!PEOPLE I THINK THIS MEANS THAT ROXAS AS A TRUE PERSON DID SOMETHING BEFORE HE BECAME A NOBODY!!!This WILL be one stinken awesome game!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The guy with brown hair and blue eyes (Not roxas)
    kinda looks like Sora only in a grownup version.
    Although, if Sora, Kairi, and Riku show up somewhere in the game and there adults…then the story skipped
    A LOT.

    who said sora, kairi, and riku are not in kh3? cuz like, whts the point of having a kh3 if the main characters arent in it? mickey sent the letter to sora, kairi and riku at the end of kh2 so its likely tht the king is telling them tht they have some new mission…those three dudes in the Kh2 Final mix (Secret Ending) will be in kh3 but they’re diffentely not gonna be the main characters…who knos?

    Its cool how there are previews now, but what happened to the other characters? Did they die?
    Are they grown up? Or did they fade away? Now when KH3 comes out everyone is going to be like, “Where’s Sora, Kairi, and Riku?” Its like the story got ripped out of the book.

    Well they have to be in there somewhere because Disney is part of the game too. Mickey didn’t look very different.

    Ya they should but it would stupid to not see them at ALL if Sora and co didnt become main characters. But I hope Numora will see to what many fans want at least in Japan anyways.

    i really think that they should of kept the old characters, the storyline will be ruined. I live in a town full of KH fans and they all agree that you shouldve kept it, NOONE LIKES IT!!!
