Kingdom Hearts : Playstation 2 : 2002
KH Chain of Memories : Gameboy Advance : 2004
Kingdom Hearts 2 : Playstation 2 : 2006
KH Chain of Memories : Remake for PS2 : 2008
KH 358/2 Days : DS : 2009
Note : Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories is a combination between a console role-playing game and collectible card game
The new release of 358/2 Days will not be card based. It will tell the story of Roxas between KH1 and KH2.
No information has been leaked about KH3 that I am aware of. They are obviously still working on the series tho which is good news.
Based on the series history I would guess at a 2010 or more likely 2011 release for KH3.

Gamer, you’ve said what I’ve seen so many others say exactly the same…. Please look through the last few pages and read my posts, please.

I think 4 years is enough time to have made kh3 and supposedly they havent even started on it… I’m dissapointed and frustrated. I know they work on tons of other games but they could have at least started working on it. Look I’m almost 20 years old and at the rate these people are going I’m still going to be playing kingdom hearts when I’m 40!! Oh and if it only comes out for ps3 I will be so mad. I can’t afford a ps3 and I wouldn’t spend my money on a ps3!! At least not until they come out with more games that I like. But they are gonna screw me cause I know I will buy one if kh3 is only on ps3.

Yeah, I wouldn’t want a weapon that I got by cheating. U have to earn it.

RUMORS:Kingdom Hearts 3 rumours (that is just rumors for you American readers) and speculation are found here. Please note this is not factual information, but purely guess-work. We have no way of knowing whether or not this is true yet.

WHAT WE KNOW
The three armored characters that are shown in the “Sunset Horizons/The Gathering” and “Birth by Sleep” secret trailers ARE NOT Sora, Riku, and Kairi. Similarly, the bald man is not Ansem/Xehanort or his Nobody/Heartless.
The names of the armoured characters are: Ven, the Roxas-like character who is frozen; Aqua, the knight with blue hair; and Terra, the largest of the knights and the one who’s face is revealed at the very end.
The Enigmatic Solider is, in fact, Terra, and is hinted to have some connection with Xehanort, though what that connection is, is current unknown. An interesting trend between them now is that they both look similar, and are ‘Enigmatic’ secret bosses.
There are a lot of keyblades, a war is coming or has passed.
The Crossroads are important.
Has something to do with the Keyblade bringing chaos

DENIED RUMORS
As hinted by Nomura, the story WILL NOT revolve around Sora, as he wants to leave Sora ‘on a break’ for now.
THERE HAS BEEN NO CONFIRMED BOX ART. The box art you see online bearing the name “Kingdom Hearts III” is not the real box art, as there are several flaws - there is no subtitle for Kingdom Hearts III and the side of the box actually has “Kingdom Hearts II” as it’s logo.
The next game will not be titled Kingdom Hearts 3.
The next game will not be on the Playstation 2, as Nomura has stated his last game for the PS2 was Final Mix +.

Pixar Worlds
Pixar worlds are an absolute in Kingdom Hearts III. Previously, modern-classics like “Finding Nemo” and “Toy Story” were not featured in Kingdom Hearts because, despite the Disney name, were registered with Pixar, a seperate company. But since the development of Kingdom Hearts II, Disney finally bought Pixar. As a result, all Pixar characters and movies are under the Disney Empire and due to their critical and commercial success, it would be a missed opportunity not to have these characters featured in the next game.
on 31 Aug 2009 at 11:31 pm 9615. sora
Toy Story - “Andy and/or Sid’s Room”
With new ownership over Pixar, we may see a new level where Sora and Co. are the size of toys, much like when you shrink in Wonderland in the first game.
on 31 Aug 2009 at 11:31 pm 9616. sora
The Incredibles - “Nomanisan Island”
Everyone remembers the secretly evil island from the Incredibles where the super-family spring back into action to take down the nasty Syndrome. It wouldn’t be a long shot to say that Sora, Donald and Goofy might don some tights and help the family out in the next game.
on 31 Aug 2009 at 11:32 pm 9617. sora
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
A world and characters that were heavily requested in Kingdom Hearts II but never made the cut. We may expect some appearances in the next game
on 31 Aug 2009 at 11:33 pm 9618. sora
“100 Acre Wood”
The one world in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II where no Heartless roam. In this world the player simply plays through simple mini-games. This has proved to be popular, especially since it is completely optional and provides a good game for younger players. Since it came back in KH2, it’s likely it will come back once again
on 31 Aug 2009 at 11:33 pm 9619. sora
“Olympus Colisseum”
The tournaments on the Olympus world have been favorites of fans since the first KH game. Being one of the most visited world in any of the games, it would be unheard of to exclude it from the next game.
on 31 Aug 2009 at 11:34 pm 9620. sora
New World - “Sand World”
The world visible in the Secret Trailer at the end of Kingdom Hearts II may be a world in the next title, considering the World That Never Was from Kingdom Hearts II was featured in the Secret Trailer from the first Kingdom Hearts
on 31 Aug 2009 at 11:35 pm 9621. sora
Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden”
Being the very most important world in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, being the root of all evil and good, it’s quite likely that it will play another large part in the next game. Probably being the world that is safe to return to at any time full of shops like Traverse Town or Twilight Town.
on 31 Aug 2009 at 11:35 pm 9622. sora
“Destiny Islands”
Since this is where the characters were last left off, it’s almost impossible for the game to not begin here. And with the game likely being on Playstation 3, it’s an excellent place to present the amazing new graphics. A world full of palm trees, sand, water, a nice sunset/rise and a quite little village.

Question: Right then, we’d like to ask you some questions about that improved story. First, was Kairi coming to Destiny Islands fate, or was it just coincidence?
Nomura: It was both. It’s not shown in this game, and it’s a delicate issue whether I can call this a living setting, but anyway Kairi was sent out from Hollow Bastion by Ansem’s hand. And the reason why Ansem sent her was to find the Keyblade. There was actually evidence of that in the jail at the End of the World. Ansem thought that girls who are princesses would be sure to make it to the place of the Keyblade. So Kairi coming to the place with Sora and Riku was both chance, and also fate.
Question: Do you mean to say that there are other “Keyblade Heroes”?
Nomura: Well, undoubtedly there are other “Keyblade Heroes”, but it just so happened that this time, Kairi made it to the world where Riku and Sora were. That’s all.
Question: About Riku being the rightful owner of the Keyblade - why is it that Sora had the Keyblade first?
Nomura: That part is also a bit vague. In the Destiny Islands when Riku is swallowed by the darkness, there’s a sparkle of light, and next comes the scene where Sora first gets the Keyblade, right? In my setting, the darkness wrapping itself around those two is the darkness of Riku’s heart. At the moment when Sora enters that darkness, the light you can see is the light of the heart. Sora, trying to help Riku, struggling in the darkness, touches that light and temporarily the Keyblade goes to Sora.
Question: Also, Kairi’s grandmother tells her a story about “the world once perishing and being recreated by the light of the children.” Is this “world recreated by the light of the children” in fact referring to all the worlds in the game?
Nomura: Yes, that’s right. But that story wasn’t history, it was a fairy tale. It doesn’t mean that story equals the world’s history precisely. Although, there is a certain degree of overlapping.
Question: When you look at the computer in the “World’s Prison”, there is a message with a very deep meaning. It says, “Two will seal the Door of Darkness.” Who specifically is it referring to?
Nomura: Well, judging by what happens (in the game), one of them is obviously Sora. As for the other one, you could take it as either; there’s both Riku and the King. And for the “two keys” after that, there are both the keys that Sora and the King have, but also there’s the presence of Sora and Riku.
Question: At the end, it seems Kairi is left in the Destiny Islands. Doesn’t she return to Hollow Bastion?
Nomura: Right. I often get asked about this part, but it’s actually explained in the game. The Princesses tell Sora that everyone will be able to return to the place they were when their world was destroyed. Kairi disappeared in the Destiny Islands, so she returned there. Because she was physically sent from Hollow Bastion to the Destiny Islands, so she never actually “disappeared” from there.
Question: In the ending, Riku and the King are on the other side of the door. Why is that?
Nomura: As far as the King is concerned, he was on the other side from the beginning. He disappeared because he went to the world on the other side in order to find one of the two keys. There, he has his own adventure in the same way as Sora. As for Riku: his body stolen by Ansem, his heart did not remain in this world. The other side of the door is, just as it appears, darkness. So Riku’s heart went to the world on the other side, that is to say just as Ansem was saying at the end, the world of darkness. Thus, when Ansem disappears and Riku returns to his original body, he is in the world of darkness.
Question: Well then, when Riku has returned to his own body, why doesn’t he come back to the world on this side?
Nomura: That’s another thing I’ve been asked by lots of people, but the answer is actually written in the World’s Prison computer message. It is implied there that only darkness can pass through that door. Riku and the King are not creatures of darkness, so they can’t come out through that door.

Today’s revelation of a Marvel buyout by Disney has many wondering if this means Adamantium weapons, or even more elaborate tie-ins, for the next Kingdom Hearts game. Obviously, with the deal having just been announced, no one is talking about video game collaborations just yet. But we do have some possible first details on the game that could be Kingdom Hearts III.
The information comes our way via Famitsu, who’s issue last week featured an interview with Kingdom Hearts producer Tetsuya Nomura. The interview was mostly about Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, the upcoming PSP entry in the series. The long awaited true sequel in the Kingdom Hearts line is now due for Japanese release this Winter.
Closing off the interview, Nomura said of Birth By Sleep, “There are lots of mysteries or areas of interest, so perhaps people will want to play the next title. There is a secret movie after all.”
For those who are new to the Kingdom Hearts franchise, one tradition for the series has been to offer a special video teaser of the next main entry following the end credits of the current entry. Kingdom Hearts II’s “secret movie” offered a first glimpse at what ended up becoming Birth By Sleep.
Asked if by “next title” he meant Kingdom Hearts 3, Nomura would only say, “The next title is the next title.”
This was just one of many revelations shared by Nomura during the interview. Among the other points of note, we were pleased to hear that Birth By Sleep will offer some 50 hours of play time. Nomura expects each playable character, Aqua, Ventus, and Terra, to take about 15 hours. The remaining time is for customization of your decks.
Adding up the play times for each character may seem like cheating, but it could be appropriate here. Each character takes a different path through the game, explained Nomura, although there are some areas where two or all three meet up.
Outside of the Kingdom Hearts talk, Nomura provided a glimpse at Square Enix’s plans for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. Sadly, it looks like the company’s booth this year will be a small one. The “Closed Megatheater” trailer show, a tradition going back as far as we can remember, will be missing this year. While those who sample Birth By Sleep and Final Fantasy XIII will get a glimpse at trailers of a few games, Nomura said to not expect footage from Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Final Fantasy Agito XIII, and The Third Birthday to be among them.
We hope the Closed Megatheater returns at next year’s show and brings with it footage from Kingdom Hearts III along with some sweet Marvel tie-ups.

It’s been a while since we heard anything about video game series Kingdom Hearts. But don’t worry, the series’ director Tetsuya Nomura has something special planned for fans as revealed by the latest issue of Famitsu.
First and foremost, the next title in the franchise isn’t going to be Kingdom Hearts III. Nomura explained that it will be a side story of some sorts, something similar to an anecdote that fits well with the KH universe he created.
The game director and character designer added that he’s thinking of making this title “slightly different” from the series and alter the game’s system.
Furthermore, Nomura maintained that the series main character Sora will still fill a big role in the new game but there’s the desire to develop the storyline of other characters. He explained,
I did nothing but talk about “Birth by Sleep”. Also, I want to explain what Mickey did in the World of Darkness, and also how he got his keyblade. I have a feeling that I want to work on developing Roxas the most. It is interesting to create in one year, the birth of him, and then next, the disappearance of him.
Aside from the above mentioned information, Tetsuya Nomura shared just one more detail: the next Kingdom Hearts title could appear on the PlayStation Portable (PSP), DS, and mobile phones.

to star scream:The October issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine has got some very interesting bit for all your Kingdom Hearts fans out there. It appears that Kingdom Hearts III will be revealed at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show as a PS3 exclusive.
Sweet stuff, eh? Well it’s by no means confirmed as it was posted only in the rumors section, but it’s still too juicy to pass up. To quote verbatim:
Kingdom Hearts III is currently in development as a PS3 exclusive and will be announced at the TGS.
What this statement does is to fuel further the rumors that have already been circulating as early as last year. Remember the secret trailer unlocked in Kingdom Hearts 2? We can only hope for a confirmation soon. The Tokyo Game Show is just a month away, anyway - unless of course Sony’s or Square Enix’ mouthpiece say a little something in advance.

Those of you waiting for more information on Kingdom Hearts III will have to play through a previous edition in the franchise to get it. According to Tetsuya Nomura, creator of the Kingdom Heart series, more information on a third title can be found by playing through till the end of Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep on the PSP.
I n a recent interview with the Japanese magazine Famitsu, Nomura revealed that playing through the entire Birth By Sleep game will lead you to a video at the end that could quite possibly shed some light on Kingdom Hearts III. Nomura said…
“I think there are a lot of puzzling elements, so maybe they’ll want to play the next game…And there’ll be a secret movie too.”
While detailing what can be done in Birth By Sleep, Nomura refused to give up any solid information regarding KHIII, saying, “The next game will be the next game (laughs).”
Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep is out this winter in Japan for the PSP. For more gaming news, info and insight, be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games.

I had a hard time beating Riku at the end, so I kept going to the beginning of Hollow Bastion and killing the heartless there. Leveled me up pretty quick. And the collosium? I never even finished it. I did the first two cups and never went back.
Oh, and Riku? You say we don’t have a life, but I have an older brother that is a serious gamer. He’s played most of the final fantasy games, kingdom hearts, call of duty, halo, guitar hero… you get the idea, and he’s never finished two 60-70 hour games in that small amount of time. You must have used a walkthrough and guide. If you spend that much time on your Playstation then you seriously need a girlfriend or a boyfriend whatever you prefer.
