Release Date
Kingdom Hearts 3 is yet to be a confirmed title by Square-Enix or Disney. It is therefore clear that there is no release date yet for the game. We have simply added this page in anticipation of there being an eventual title, and this will be the page to confirm a Kingdom Hearts 3 release date.

There is also another good reason why KH3 will not be for 360. Theres simply too much data and 360 doesn’t have blu-ray so it would have to come on 3-8 seperate disks. That is why it will only come to PS3 no matter how much I wish it would come to all systems.
If you remember right almost all FF games came one 2-5 disks. That was because the PS2 and PS1 disks didn’t have much space for data. Well games have gotten a lot bigger now, graphics alone will take up a lot of data not to mentaion the story line, plots and extra stuff. It comes down to simple logic, is it cheaper to put the whole game on 1 blu-ray disk or 3-5 360 disks?

if you read any of my previous posts,remmember I said that i hav no time to explain the lack that kh3 would’nt go to 360? well sipher explained!!!! and its all true and we all aren’t trying to flame the xbox360 but we are just saying its not the right console and pointing out the truth instead of lying to ourselves and giving ourselves false hopes…..

to Tziri: many people keep confusing the birth by sleep and the un explained game (kh3). actually that wasn’t roxas,it was ventus and he didn’t die. His accident occured similar to sora’s except that he was attacked by dark helmet the oppent. you all obviously know sora risked himself to save kairi by sacrafising half of his heart to wake kairi up. well ventus just lost half of his heart because dark helmet attacked him. just go and check the vid. and ventus was still alive if you see the extended birth by sleep trailer. ^^

CDs dont cost much, but yes it would need like 2-4 for kh3 to be on the 360.

Well why we all wait for the next three years play other games like ff13. Borderlands comes out soon. there are alot of great games comeing out, to bad none of them are kh3.

and some comments, ladies and gents, no need to worry, how long have we waited for KH3? honestly. when did KH2 come out? leik 2006? thts a mad long time ago, and another thing, so sorry for all you ps2 and xbox users, theres no way sony is gonna put KH3 on ps2 or hand it over to the 360. its way too valuable. remember the good ol days of Halo? microsoft still hasn’t given up halo. so sorry to burst your bubbles. just be thankful that the ps3 is getting KH3 soon, lets all take a deep breath, and don’t forget, PS3 MIGHT 3-D CAPABILITY!!!

i mean PS3 is going to get 3-D capablility in the near future. and the reason it won’t be on ps2 is becuase ps2 can’t handle that kind of technology, its outdated my friends. when force unleashed came out they had it come out on ps2 also. it sucked on the ps2 compared to the ps3. Some of the coolest parts of the storyline were cut out cuz ps2 couldn’t handle it. face it, i know its depressing, but the reign of the original xbox and ps2 has punched out a long time ago.

Well that all sucks for me again. I have been going nuts since i found out about this one awhile ago. i guess luck has never been on my side so now i have to buy a PS3 to fit in with my 360, PS2, DS, and my Gamecube(yes i still have one-how sad).

hahah its not that sad, i still have my original gameboy, yes the big grey one, the gameboy color, and the gameboy advanced in storage somewhere in myhouse. and i also have supernintendo and 64, and sega dreamcasthahah so its not all that sad, i have to by a ps3 also so i feel ya there

its good to see some people actully using thier brains insted of complaining. but anyway i am still going about what i said eariler my prediction still is true, so if anyone else has a prediction on what will happen please say so i would like to hear it. here is mine for a recap, 2010 summer, team assembled, start KH3 project, 2011 fall, annoucement of release date, programming software stage of game, 2012 new year, box cover and advertising start coming up, end of summer olmpics we have had it and prices become halfway resonable.

uhm it would be really smart if they put it on the 360 because alot of fans (like myself) had given up on ps3 because of the lack of good games. so they would lose business if spuare-enix didn’t put it on the 360…… just sayin’

n me jus saying uhm there more ps3 fans and it had more sales and if watch g4 they announced just the new ps3 slim had about a million of them sold so it has waay more fans and square enix dont want let them down =D. you given up on ps3 because of the lack of good games? o-o there ps3 eclusive games that people think are very good and there is no lack to ps3 except peoples jelousy to it. and the business would be better when kh3 is on ps3 and theres too much data that 360 has to have and just chopping disk versions is odd. so sorry it cant go t 360 ^^

the chain of memorys and re:chain of memorys is about what happens between KH1 and KH2. the oringal chain of memorys is on game boy advance game while re:chain of memories is for PS2. the big differnce between the two games is that the first one we didn’t know too much and the plot was a little confusing, after KH2 came out though they decided to revist the game, they made it sightly differnt because of our new knowleage of the plot for example in the oringal COM organiztion XIII is called the organiztion while in re:COM it is called organiztion XIII. they also add a little more plot and a bit more creative because the PS2 is better than the game boy advance.

i personally dont care if it takes 5 disks for the new kingdome hearts 3 for xbox 360 its a disk and its not that big of a deal too try making it for a special edition version for when it comes out. well what im trying too say is if you ever make it for xbox 360 do a 1 time offer special like a kingdome hearts xbox360 with the 5 disk kingdome hearts 3 game in it and 2 controlers just like for the call of duty modern warfare 2 that is comeing out this november. and it will be a big sell off if you do it. why? you may ask because millions love xbox and same for kingdome hearts period. i’ll even buy the system and the games to the xbox360 for kingdome hearts 3 no matter what anytime anyday. make it as a special tribute for the fans, and as a 1 time deal. please take this into consideration for all of us kindome hearts fans. im 20 and proud too love your work. ill allways love disney games. sinsearly by: lawrence j. smith jr.

dude…PS3 games are not in bluray format…you know how much more expensive they would be?? its the same thing games have the same graphics in PS3 and Xbox 360 it’s just in people’s minds that since PS3 has a bluray drive games are in bluray that is a lie.

yes they are, if they weren’t which by the way is called false advertisement and you can arrested for that so thats like a federal crime for them to say its bluray when its really not. then the PS3 wouldn’t be so expensive, what was the point of having blu ray capablitiy if the games arent bluray?

Well if it did go on more than one system i’d shoot myself. The kingdom Hearts games have been true to always being for one system alone with the exception of Chain of Memories, but thats different it was totally remade for the ps2.

Yo just me checking back. apossesedsock-PS3 prides itself on its blu-ray capabilities. IN fact it was a lot cheeper to buy a PS3 than a blu-ray disk player for a while.

well larry smith you should learn to spell the name of the game before you start calling your self a fan. its kingdom hearts not (kingdome hearts)… and xehanort (ansem the wise apprentice) is easy to beat. dont waste your mp the only spell you need is cure the rest is all X bashing. the hardest part of the battle is when you get switched to riku and have to save sora. if you can do that part its easy.

ok people kingdom hearts is an amazing game and i cant wait for kingdom hearts 3 keyblade wars but you have to concider the fact that it could be on 360 or it couldnt, the ps3 does not use blue-ray for its games, it prides itself on its bluray capabilities simply because it CAN play blu-ray not because it only uses blu-ray, also kingdom hearts has not always been on sony it has gone to nintendo twice now so this shows its leaniant towards other consoles. Sqaure enix make x-box games too not just sony, take FF for example that has changed between all of the major gaming companies not including sega and kingdom hearts could do the sae, im not saying it will im simply saying it could and we shouldnt get ahead of ourselves.

ok i have a qestion now that the new psp is out there will be no umds or so ive been told and that u have to buy games off of the psn which would mean that the only way to get Kingdom Hearts BBS would be to down load it which would suck bad. if this is true than i have to buy a new psp so can sombody answer is this true
