Release Date
Kingdom Hearts 3 is yet to be a confirmed title by Square-Enix or Disney. It is therefore clear that there is no release date yet for the game. We have simply added this page in anticipation of there being an eventual title, and this will be the page to confirm a Kingdom Hearts 3 release date.

Is it true that when they make a kingdom hearts 3 that Sora an group wont be in the game as much
Do you even know if they are making a kh3 to begin with?

There will be a Kingdom Hearts 3 release. The USA will see it around 2011, that I predict. We’ll also see Birth By Sleep sometime in 2010. If my calculations are correct, Square Enix needs a 5-6 year time window to make each main game. Kingdom Hearts released in ‘01. Then Kingdom Hearts II released in ‘05. Therefore, we’ll see Kingdom Hearts III sometime in ‘11.

well i can pobably trust that kh3 will be some time in 2011, because as you see they have been working on 358 and 1/2 days (coded) also working on birth by sleep and ff13 so it might take some time you gotta just have some patience

Don’t you guys think that it is TOTALLY unfair that it is almost 2010 and we STILL don’t know anything about kh3 i’m prtty certain that they are making one but we have the right to know something don’t you agree? At any rate i hope that it is as amazing as kh2 if not better and they better not take away sora, donald, goofy and friends cuz they are like the main characters

dw i imagine sora donald and goofy will be in this one since the main games do revolve around them and i imagine kh3 will follow on from kh2 where they got the letter from the king, its the logical way to look at it.

I agree with Ashley it is a little unfair that we havn’t heard nothing about it yet..But then again they are making the portable games..which i think they are wasting their time on cause really all the KHs fans want is the 3rd one. Well least i do.
An they can’t take away the main characters that would completely ruin KH in my oppion..as for new Disney characters that would be fun! =] but who would they add? i can’t think of any??

KH3 is coming out on January 9, 2010 in Japan. I heard a long time ago that it was a Japanese exclusive game and it will never be released in America, but I am not sure whether or not that is true. It takes place 10 years before the first game, when there were millions of keyblades and many keyblade masters. There are 3 main characters that you will play with alternatively throughout the game. Check out kingdomheartsinsider.com for more info on it. And if anyone is wondering, KH3 and KH: BbS are the same game (I wondered about that because I read in a Game Informer magazine like 2 years ago that KH# was coming out in a few months and when I heard that BbS wasn’t released till January of next year, I thought they were different games. I guess I miss read).

yo guys just for the record, look on you tube they showed a small scene from kh 3 (the actual version, not birth by sleep) also for those morons thinking kh3 will come out jan 9 2010, that would be birth by sleep, also known as prequal to the entire kh series, thats needed to understand kh3 more, thats all, those who already know this, just ignore this post.

okay so before people start getting confused, if you’ve played the MGS series, I’m thinking it’s looking like that.
- In the mgs series they switch from time and time, MGS 3 explained most of the story to understand the rest of it which led to MGS 4 since it was based BEFORE THE OTHER GAMES.
- Kingdom Hearts is pretty much like the same way (aside from the gameplay and the worlds), it’s explaining the KH Trilogy, not the disney worlds, which in turn will lead to more that we may comprehend in when KH3 comes out. Wouldn’t you think? So basically “Birth by Sleep” (SET IN THE PAST) is what will determine some of the aspects that may occur in KH3. = DON’T LISTEN TO FRITZ or Z, or any other people who say they know EXACTLY when a release date is posted, It’s clearly unknown.
