Release Date
Kingdom Hearts 3 is yet to be a confirmed title by Square-Enix or Disney. It is therefore clear that there is no release date yet for the game. We have simply added this page in anticipation of there being an eventual title, and this will be the page to confirm a Kingdom Hearts 3 release date.

Tazimus as always hit the nail on the head. As for the multi-platform thing, it’s doubtful. Ps3 is obviuous, but I don’t think that they would put KH3 on the XBOX 360 or the Wii. Reasons:
A- I doubt that they’ll put it on the Wii, because they would have to develop a whole new battle system to match the Wii remotes. And I think I’d prefer a controller over a “wave around plastic what-ch-im-call-it.”
B- Another reason for the Wii would be that it’s graphics probably aren’t good enough. When I look at Wii games in the store, I see rows and rows of games like Mario, Zelda, and other cartoonish games. There are a few other games like Call of Duty 3, but those aren’t completely known for the grapics either, though I admit for the PS2 and PS3 they are quite good. I’ve yet to play COD3 on the Wii yet. However this is the weakest point of my debate so now I will move on.
C- Now honestly, if they did put KH3 on two platforms(which is doubtful), I would guess the PS3 and the XBOX 360. The 360 is the only thing that’s even close to the (in Darth Vader voice) ULTIAMTE POWER (end Darth Vader voice) of the PS3. Lol. However as far as I know there are NO Square Enix games on the 360. So for them to change platforms would cause, well quite a shake between Windows and Sony (or at least their gaming branches).
And that’s it. Hope that gave you something to ponder.

Well let’s count the reasons it should be on the PS3 instead of the PS2:
1) The PS2 is an obsolete system with obsolete graphics.
2) The PS3 has state of the art graphics.
3) The PS3’s controller opens new ideas for game play.
4) The use of blu-ray disc allows them to put more information on the disc itself and allows for a longer game.
5) The PS3 is capable of processing more information a lot faster then the PS2 which means larger area maps and more enemies on a map at a single time.
Listen stop complaining about not having a PS3. Because in the end that is all you’re doing. The reason out want it to come out on the PS2 is because you don’t have a PS3. So you think of illogical reasons that have basis for the argument. Just because Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 were on the PS2 doesn’t mean that Kingdom Hearts should be. Game companies always move there games to the next gen system when it becomes available. A perfect example of this would be the Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess. The was originally slated solely for a Gamecube release. However Nintendo push backed the release date for the game so it could a be a premier title for the Wii. Now Zelda originally started out on the NES which Nintendo made two Zelda games for. Because Zelda 1 & 2 were for the NES didn’t stop them from releasing the game third game in the series to SNES. Heck, the fourth game in the series was released for the Gameboy. This is how the gaming industry works. Out with the old in with the new.

Thats Right why in the hell would they make kh1 and kh2 be on the ps2 and then make the game for a different game system!? it shuold be on the ps2 or else!

KH3 is going to be for PS3 or another system. Nomura said Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix was the last PS2 game he was going to make.
