Release Date

Kingdom Hearts 3 is yet to be a confirmed title by Square-Enix or Disney. It is therefore clear that there is no release date yet for the game. We have simply added this page in anticipation of there being an eventual title, and this will be the page to confirm a Kingdom Hearts 3 release date.

hi mates sorry i haven’t been around for a while.

had a few problems with my computer. had to get that sorted out. now i am back but only for a short amount of time. so i have a bit of catching up to do.

personally, i think a battle with roxas is sure to be coming. If you have played kh2 a second time, you pick up all the loose ends the developers specifically made. I personally would enjoy to see an ” inner self” battle for sora and roxas, since i think that even though Roxas’s “soul” went into Sora, that still leaves the body that sora battled against during that last spam of battles the developers set up :). In the ansem reports, they say that when a heart leaves a body, the body and soul remain. Roxas’s soul entered sora, but not the body. ooohhhhh:). Also, i would like them elaborate onto what happened to the nobodies that were desinegrated, and, if this doesn’t work for the developers, try following roxas through the kh2 story instead of sora, since kh2 was kinda hard to follow, with the enemies making hugge jumps while we are in a world. I would like to see the very begining of this following roxas.

Hey everyone, just wanted to comment all on all the stuff i’ve seen here. The most important thing is that from what i believe, Square enix is not going to release KH3 as an xbox360 game. Enix has a long history of not releasing their games to xbox, but this is only speculation. Also, Square enix can not release KH3 on the Ps2. The reaseaon for this is the fact tat the PS2 currently runs at a quite lower speed than the ps4. Trying to convert a Ps3 game to Ps2 has never been tryed, and i expect any respectable game would never do that, considering the amount of data on the new ps3 discs. Even if it does come on on ps2, it will have like 6 discs to it and not have the graphics of its counterpart on ps3. But, for you Ps2 pwners out there don’t fret, remember, The game hasn’t even been confirmed by Enix. Its quite a long way into the future.

I hope the game comes out soon and when it does I wish it comes for the 360. The 360 is way better than the PS3. Please Disney make it for the 360 as well

oblivion- yes your right. Almost all diseny characters know sora but they never talk about him but at the same time remember diseny characters were made a long time ago. Kh came in 21st century as diseny came like 19th or 20th century. So since they haven´t made any new episodes of those shows today of course they wouldn´t have know sora yet. But definatley if they made a KH movie i would so watch it just like i saw final fantasy:advent childeren. I saw that so many times and i loved it. In fact ima go watch on youtube right now.

yeah. I just think that they should come out with the game on the PS2 and the PS3. A lot of people do have the PS2. I love the KH games and i can wait for the third, but not too long as i am anxious. In my opinion I think that KH3 is more important that whatever FF they’re making. That is just my opinion though. I think the producers of KH1 and KH2 took a long time but made the games very well.

.. well… i would like to watch a kingdom hearts movie to come out but i would like to do the story myself. I wanna fight the monsters and work for the story line to be complete but it would be good for a movie to come out.

another thing i think i said this before but i really really think they should put kh3 on both ps2 and ps3.I mean why can’t they do that. i like kingdom hearts but i won’t go out and buy a ps3 for it. I guess that doesn’t make me a big big big fan but what i do know is that i love kingdom hearts and i know i’m not the only one who feels that way.

KhDude- that may be similar but it is still different. just because people changed from vcr to dvd doesn’t really mean they should change a game that has been on the ps2 (which is still pretty good and not that old) for years now. if people really loved kingdom hearts they would’nt throw or give their ps2 away.( meaning they won’t be able to play kingdom hearts again) But whatever they should put it on both ps2 and ps3

KH3 will be made for PS3 most likely cuz of the improvements it has, graphics, etc…
I read here somewhere that square enix will be working on KH3 after FFVSXIII will be released or something like that, so i think theres enough time to wait..
as for a movie, i think that making a cinematech movie like FF movie costs way too much and also takes alotta efforts\time bla bla… let me grab a copy of KH3 before ill have to watch it~!

yes keyblade queen, that would be a good idea. It really annoys me that in disney shows people never talk about sora, even though they met him before, they act like sora doesnt even exist. so if they made a kingdom hearts movie, i would be sure to watch it.

look… in the past you had big boxed tv’s now you have plasma or LCD tv’s.

another example: first videos and now DVD’s

Same with PS3.. first PS2 and now PS3.. do you get it all? maybe they wanna make KH3 for PS3 because it has more options or something like that. So there’s a small chance it will be for PS2

khlover you seem to be right about alot of this, but i dought that the makers are looking at this exact page, or any at all. But, they might be becuz i dont control them, and maybe talking about it is worth something. I am just going to wait for it to come out, and when it does ill see what it is for. And when i think about everyone who made kh1 and kh2, it makes me think someone is reading this, and i hope so, becuz i really want it to come out on ps2, but then again, we all do….

lol this is to another perosn tyron pouncey yeah it doesn’t matter about the years. that wasn’t a pattern you can’t say theres a pattern with just two games out. if there were 3 games out and the time bettween them were 3 years then i would think there is a pattern. But i doubt there is a pattern bettween the relase dates.

But anyway sorry if it looked like I did and you made a mistake too. your right what you should have said was anything related to kindom hearts. If you read back a few ppl on this website said stuff trying to act like a saint or whatever and destroy what they were “preaching” so i though you were someone like that. sorry.

anyway thanks for agreeing with me but your worng about the other thing you said. you said talking about it will not a make a differnce but it can. we might not ocntrol what they do but we can cause them to think something else. ONe of the desinerers or someone who works for the company could be looking at this stuff right now. and see these arguements and statments people are putting out here. Who know they might acually care what their fans think!? think about that. they need to know what sells. they can’t just throw away their chances of a good product. Maybe not many ppl have ps3’s. they need to know what the fans think the game should be on in order to make a good sale.

another thing noone knows when this game is coming out. we don’t even know if they are working on it now probably not becasue they are working on the other 3 games. so please stop saying you know when the game is coming out. You can make estimates but i we won’t really know an estamate for sure until we find out if they are working on the game now.

note: this is a fan website where other people have other ideas we can’t help it we all might disagree other ppl will try to persaude someone who has a diffent oppion that will be called an argument. this website is can’t be a website if everyone is agreeing with eachother. how do you think these convensations start?

I do not believe that Kingdom Hearts 3 should be on all of the gaming systems. The first two have been a sony and square enex game, therefore Kingdom Hearts 3 should be exclusively for the Playstation 3 and have an edited version for the ps2 for players who do not have a ps3. Other than this, everything about the game is going to be amazing, i am counting on the creators to fainish making an awsome, over the top game. Obviously with the issue that the game is going to be a prequal and Sora, Goofey and Donald are not going to be in it, that would be probably the only flaw to the game. The good thing of this plot is that there will be obviously a fourth game for the finally and with this game we will all be able to see how it became that there is only one keyblade master… Or is there. We will leave the story line for the creators!

khlover, im not here to fight with you, so plz stop trying to fight with me. Besides the point, I agree with you about what systems it should be on, and I would like it if the game came out on all systems too, but we arent the makers and desighners…and we dont control what they do, and even though it would be smart of them to do it, just talking about it wont do anything. And your right what I said did have a mistake in it, I should have said ( we all should talk about anything that has to do with kh series or release date of such ) but you dont have to argue about every little thing that comes your way….and I think the release date will be 2010 so until it does come out, lets keep talking about it instead of argueing, but im not going to make people stop, its just that people come to this page to read about the release date….

I think the game is coming out this spring because kh1 came out in 2002, kh2 came out in 2005, so it is a pattern every three years.

i believe that the message to sara was showing that though the chasers from the original war thought they had destroyed Xehanort originally, or atleast his first form, that they were mistaken in thinking so. I believe that in kh3, there is a possiblity of Xehanort rising again, for a third time, but as some sort of different being empowered by many years of knowledge and desperate longing to have kingdom hearts in his arsenal. I believe that sora, kairi, and riku are now the new chasers, and that somehow they will be joined by the original 2 chasers left standing for a final battle. As far as how many games there will be for the war, i have no idea, but the i believe, this series will not become another ff, but will end within the next game or two.

just wanted to make a comment about the nonsense some of you are saying.
to quote: “h1 cam out in 2000 and then kh2 in 2005 so its got 2 come out in 2009″. i dont understand your justification based on the dates. even if you were stating the time elapsed between each game that would put you at 2010. that’s to say it mattered at all: for another great game, diablo, release v.1 in 97, v.2 in 00, and v.3 is still in progress.
just because the internet is open to free comment and free points of view doesn’t mean you need to speak complete nonsense to make yourself feel as though you have some purpose in life.
