Rumours
Kingdom Hearts 3 rumours (that is just rumors for you American readers) and speculation are found here. Please note this is not factual information, but purely guess-work. We have no way of knowing whether or not this is true yet.

WHAT WE KNOW
The three armored characters that are shown in the “Sunset Horizons/The Gathering” and “Birth by Sleep” secret trailers ARE NOT Sora, Riku, and Kairi. Similarly, the bald man is not Ansem/Xehanort or his Nobody/Heartless.
The names of the armoured characters are: Ven, the Roxas-like character who is frozen; Aqua, the knight with blue hair; and Terra, the largest of the knights and the one who’s face is revealed at the very end.
The Enigmatic Solider is, in fact, Terra, and is hinted to have some connection with Xehanort, though what that connection is, is current unknown. An interesting trend between them now is that they both look similar, and are ‘Enigmatic’ secret bosses.
There are a lot of keyblades, a war is coming or has passed.
The Crossroads are important.
Has something to do with the Keyblade bringing chaos.
DENIED RUMORS
As hinted by Nomura, the story WILL NOT revolve around Sora, as he wants to leave Sora ‘on a break’ for now.
THERE HAS BEEN NO CONFIRMED BOX ART. The box art you see online bearing the name “Kingdom Hearts III” is not the real box art, as there are several flaws – there is no subtitle for Kingdom Hearts III and the side of the box actually has “Kingdom Hearts II” as it’s logo.
The next game will not be titled Kingdom Hearts 3.
The next game will not be on the Playstation 2, as Nomura has stated his last game for the PS2 was Final Mix +.
WHAT WE DON’T KNOW
Who the distant outlined figure is.
The place in the Kingdom Hearts timeline this trailer takes place in.
What the text means by “birth by sleep”.
These worlds are based on my own assumptions and predictions, they are to be considered rumors.
Kingdom Hearts III will continue to feature Disney related worlds since that is the main aspect of the game. Due to some new ownership and popular previous worlds, many new and old worlds will likely make a return.
Pixar Worlds
Pixar worlds are an absolute in Kingdom Hearts III. Previously, modern-classics like “Finding Nemo” and “Toy Story” were not featured in Kingdom Hearts because, despite the Disney name, were registered with Pixar, a seperate company. But since the development of Kingdom Hearts II, Disney finally bought Pixar. As a result, all Pixar characters and movies are under the Disney Empire and due to their critical and commercial success, it would be a missed opportunity not to have these characters featured in the next game.
Toy Story – “Andy and/or Sid’s Room”
With new ownership over Pixar, we may see a new level where Sora and Co. are the size of toys, much like when you shrink in Wonderland in the first game.
The Incredibles – “Nomanisan Island”
Everyone remembers the secretly evil island from the Incredibles where the super-family spring back into action to take down the nasty Syndrome. It wouldn’t be a long shot to say that Sora, Donald and Goofy might don some tights and help the family out in the next game.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
A world and characters that were heavily requested in Kingdom Hearts II but never made the cut. We may expect some appearances in the next game.
“100 Acre Wood”
The one world in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II where no Heartless roam. In this world the player simply plays through simple mini-games. This has proved to be popular, especially since it is completely optional and provides a good game for younger players. Since it came back in KH2, it’s likely it will come back once again.
“Olympus Colisseum”
The tournaments on the Olympus world have been favorites of fans since the first KH game. Being one of the most visited world in any of the games, it would be unheard of to exclude it from the next game.
New World – “Sand World”
The world visible in the Secret Trailer at the end of Kingdom Hearts II may be a world in the next title, considering the World That Never Was from Kingdom Hearts II was featured in the Secret Trailer from the first Kingdom Hearts.
“Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden”
Being the very most important world in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, being the root of all evil and good, it’s quite likely that it will play another large part in the next game. Probably being the world that is safe to return to at any time full of shops like Traverse Town or Twilight Town.
“Destiny Islands”
Since this is where the characters were last left off, it’s almost impossible for the game to not begin here. And with the game likely being on Playstation 3, it’s an excellent place to present the amazing new graphics. A world full of palm trees, sand, water, a nice sunset/rise and a quite little village.

PLEASE NO WII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont get that thing, it makes no sense to me, and it scares me. sry if this is late, i only read the first few responses, i cannot wait for the game, if it is for the wii, i would get it, but my hope is that its for the ps3 cause by the time it comes out, it will most likely be less expensive, and sides. . . i actually know how to use the controler ^_^

i have a friend with a wii and yes the graphics can be upgraded
at some point the card might need to be switched, but not for the few updates

i think kingdom hearts 3 should come out for ps2 because it has always been on it and i think it should stay on it and what happens if it isnt s great as the first just because it is on wii dosent mean it is going to be better i got zelda for game cube and i think they both look the same. Also i hear that kh3 makers ar utting luigi and mario and all the super smash bro gang into kh3 what is that all about i think it should have the charectors its ben haveing so keep it the same.

i hope there is a pocahontas world on kh3 and that the creators would design a new group of enemies. if kh3 came out on ps3 it could be way cheaper by then. i think the frozen soldier is roxas but i heard that wasn’t possible…or maybe it is. please come to us kh3 we need u!

Hi well this is the rumour i have heard. In Ansams report in KH2 it says that when a person is captured by darkness there heart becomes a heartless, there body becomes a nobody but he does not know what there soal becomes. I believe that the armoured figures were Soras soal, Rikus soal and Kairis soal. I think the forth figure was Ansams soal.

second villian (dude who come from original)-wears Dark Riku suit from KH1
Big armored fellow- looks like a buff ver. of zack from ff7, brown hair: possible relation to sora, mabye riku again
blue/white hair girl (armor girl)- probably has thing for blonde guy who gets killed (guy who looks like roxas), hair gives idea of a possible relation to; Ansem, Riku, or even ?kairi?(shape)
shorter second armored guy (blonde guy)- looks ALOt like roxas, but probably kant be him because it is a possible preqel and roxas was made when sora turned heartless in KH1, but hey it is anyones guess

for those of you that are wondering, i will clrea things up
RETURN OF ORGANIZATION XIII-Impossible because they are all sleeping with fishies other than roxas, who is back where he belongs.
CHASERS-they are in fact probably NOT the armored figures, because the definition of chasers are people who create metall weapons:like a blcacksmith so ur best bet is we will learn how the KEYS are created
Armoured figures-Nomura has stated that they are infact NEW PEOPLE therefore they arent SORA RIKU OR KAIRI but they might be related or connected. however nomura may be giving a spinoff so who knows?
SLIM OLD UGLY GUY- that is probably xhenhort. as u may know, ansem is the heartless of xhenhort (xhenhort took ansem the wise’s name). xemnas is the nobody. now if u remember ansem had the wierd coat in KH1, and it had to com efrom some where, or in other words- his human past (KH3 is probably in the past). by the way, this dude has wierd eyes, which if u pay attention at the end, the brown haired guy suddenly gets those eyess

You dont need to become a heartless for a nobody to show up, you need to die, in Soras case he killed him self when Kairi was dead, cause it was the only way he could bring her back would be to unlock his heart, and she came back to life.. so Namine was created then.

hold on, i have another theory;
so, let’s say the video was of the past/future i think the in that time, alot of people had keyblades, so everyone was fighting- but that’s not why there were all thoses keyblades in the video. I think the chasers were sent by the bald guy to retrieve all the keyblades and they must not have known he was evil, the fullfilled the tasks. Probaly by haing a war or whatever, so after all the wielders were dead- the bald dude had all the power!! so he was going to take over kingdom hearts- it think =)

i got it; the story has to begin on destiny islands- right
maybe Sora’s dreaming. Maybe the dreams were the same thing we saw in the video. He probaly has to PREVENT this from happening! Besides, it wouldn’t be kingdom hearts without Sora! i wonder if the gummi ship can travel into the future- k so that’s thet “sleep” part….

Yo, samalama41, I have another theory. Your’s was very intriguing but I think mine will more sense. The bald guy, let’s call him ‘Fred,’ was probably trying to take over Kingdom Hearts. And all of the keyblade wielders tried to kill Fred, but instead he brainwashed them to go kill Sora, Riku, and Kairi. But Riku gave Kairi a flower keyblade, which caused malfunction in Fred’s computer which was technically his life, so he got a heart(less) disease. Then, Sora, took Fred to the hospital. Fred was cured of his heart(less) disease, and he stabbed Sora. Sora’s heartless, Roxas, come out and killed Fred. Fred’s nobody, let’s call him ‘Ningui,’ came out and formed and alliance with Roxas. Thus, creating a time-space continyooum. Then, they found Kairi’s nobody, Namine, and bribed her to marry them. Namine, of course refused, so they shot her with a nerf dart gun. Ningui wanted to marry Namine even more than stupid Roxas did, so he jumped off a buiding and shot Roxas in the process. Roxas got mad. So his OTHER heartless, let’s call him ‘Jileas.’ Jileas came and killed Ningui. But Namine wanted to marry Ningui becuase she thought he was very hot. Ningui, unlike his true self, Fred, HAD hair. And he wasn’t old. Does this sense? Good, because there’s a lot more. Okay, back to business, so Ningui’s heartless, let’s call HIM “B’Juju” was FAT and ugly! So Namine didn’t want to marry him anymore. So then B’Juju killed Namine, and her heartless was ‘Jimojee.’ Jimojee was fat, too. So they got married and had twelve kids. And one dog to chase seven cats. But they loved the pets more, so the kids became mad at they away and thus, the Boxcar children were born!

So I’m back and with a new theory! (Are you egg-sited?)
Well, all of your theories are…clever…I guess. But mine, obviously was superior to your theories (no offense. You guys’ theories were too short.) Here I am, running my mouth off.
Kingdom Hearts trapped Xemnas inside a small crystal which strong. Well, strong enough to hold the average person, I guess. But Xemnas actually had a grenade, and it was SOOOO strong, that it broke the crystal! Well, Xemnas wore peasant clothes, because, he wanted people to think he was a normal person…not evil. Well, if he was going to be a normal person, he might as well have a normal name, so let’s say it’s…’Hadji.’ It’s Slovakian. Anyways, he snuck onto the Boxcar’s Children’s train box, along with Axel’s heartless Yoshimoshi. Well, the Boxcar Children had marshmallow roasting sticks, and then they beat up Yoshimoshi and Hadji. Well, they felt about it, so they made a shelter for them. (how sweet.) So Hadji and Yoshimoshi went there to the shelter. But then, they took the marshmallow sticks when the kids were asleep and poked, and hit them and woke them up. And then, they destroyed the shelter that the kids made for them. The kids cried, and then they became heartless and painted themselves black to look like Heartless. Well, they temed up with Ansem and Haseonord. Then, they took over the world and imprisoned their parents and pet pigs. The parents ate the pigs. The pigs ate the parents because they wanted payback.

I don’t care if this dosn’t make any sense to the trailers and secret movies but i think that this would be a cool idea for KH3:
The letter Sora, Riku and Kairi resived from King Mickey was telling them about a new threat, people have shuned their bodies and have become these incredibley powerfull beings made of just heart and soul. Meanwhile the Nobodies and Heartless have joined forces to take over Kingdom Hearts. Organisation XIII are back under a new leader, a girl Riku befriended in the darkness, and they are looking for him, but Organisation XIII are seperate from the Nobodies, they’re literally just a group of people who only want their hearts back. But as they look for him they are corsing chaos. The Organistaion find Riku in Radiant Garden and take him. Sora who has met up with Donald and Goofy at Disney Castle looks around all the worlds for him, but leaves Kairi in Radiant Garden saying it’s to dangerous for her with the Heart-and-Soul creatures around. They find Riku in a world created by the new Og.XIII leader, it turns out she was just trying to warn Riku that a great war was coming, “The War of the Keyblades”. Sora asks Riku to come back with them but he refuses saying he’s needed in the Org. XIII world. Sora’s insulted and walks off. More worlds. Somthing bad is happening in Radient Garden. The Heartless have returned, with the Nobodies and the other things have appered as well. A massive fight breaks out. Riku and the Org. appear. Sora, Riku and the new leader team up, dropping Donald and Goofy who have gone of to help fight the Heartless and Nobodies with King Mickey. The Head Creature attacks Riku but the girl incharge of Org.XIII dives in front of him saveing his life. He goes over to where the creature threw her to just in time to see her burst in a brillient white light. She rises up into the air weilding two keyblades and calls out for the wielder of the dark realms keyblade(this isn’t Riku)and in a corridor of darkness thing and man dressed all in black appears,Xehenorts Heartless. Both of them beckon Sora towards them, Sora then realises that he must join the battle. A great battle begins. Only one can emerge alive. The four people in at the crossroads i think are the creators of the Light realm Keyblade, the Dark realm Keyblade, and whatever Sora’s is. The Forth is the creator of Kingdom Hearts.

Just to clear up about what i said about Xehenort’s Heartless. One of Xemnas’ experiments to get his heart back was to add the essence of anothers heart to his heartless, that’s why Sora was asleep. The Experiment backfired and only the darkness in Sora’s heart was put into Xehenort. Making become a dark Keyblade weilder.

I can’t remember who is was who said the Kairi is Ansem the wise’s kid and that Sora was created by him when he tried to save his son. Don’t you think that’s a little wrong?! It’s like their brother and sister!

yeah thats very wrong. i read in one of ansems reports that he chose a girl that was fair of heart or something and sent her away. i think that he chose kairi and sent her to destiny islands and no one knows how she got there, remember? and kairi doesnt remember where she came from

you don’t have to die to become a heartless you have to lose your heart (not same thing in KH world). because kairi was a princess of hearts her bady did not turn into a heartless, that’s why namine is special.

i was kind of a part of that hole ansem made sora somehow thing, although i disagree that kairi is related at all to ansem the wise.
here’s how it would’ve worked: the knight at the end of the final mix movie (the one who’s eyes change color) is possibly ansem the wise, the roxas looking guy is not roxas – or sora – but their prediseser. since the roxas look alike was frozen – presumably dies just not in the movie – ansem tries to save him. something happens during that process and sora is created, that’s why roxas looks like he does. roxas is the left over memory/soul/whatever of the frozen knight.
but it doesn’t work like that since Nomura said the three knights are new characters. Kairi still has no relation to ansem the wise.

1st ever notice how ALL of our predictions have nothing to o with the levels and disney characters thatthey have to have? sorrry, that’s just allways bothered me…
anywho- i think i know how they can begin the game WITHOUT the main characters but i don’t think it’ll start on destiny island. I mean, the whole game coud be about what the letter said

I think Justin’s theory makes perfect sense. The thing that I’m worried about is why would square ditch sora, riku, and kairi, when the three of them are a huge money maker. I don’t know about you guys but I would rather play a continuation of some sort rather than a paralleled version, or even a different story altogether.
