Rumours
Kingdom Hearts 3 rumours (that is just rumors for you American readers) and speculation are found here. Please note this is not factual information, but purely guess-work. We have no way of knowing whether or not this is true yet.

WHAT WE KNOW
The three armored characters that are shown in the “Sunset Horizons/The Gathering” and “Birth by Sleep” secret trailers ARE NOT Sora, Riku, and Kairi. Similarly, the bald man is not Ansem/Xehanort or his Nobody/Heartless.
The names of the armoured characters are: Ven, the Roxas-like character who is frozen; Aqua, the knight with blue hair; and Terra, the largest of the knights and the one who’s face is revealed at the very end.
The Enigmatic Solider is, in fact, Terra, and is hinted to have some connection with Xehanort, though what that connection is, is current unknown. An interesting trend between them now is that they both look similar, and are ‘Enigmatic’ secret bosses.
There are a lot of keyblades, a war is coming or has passed.
The Crossroads are important.
Has something to do with the Keyblade bringing chaos.
DENIED RUMORS
As hinted by Nomura, the story WILL NOT revolve around Sora, as he wants to leave Sora ‘on a break’ for now.
THERE HAS BEEN NO CONFIRMED BOX ART. The box art you see online bearing the name “Kingdom Hearts III” is not the real box art, as there are several flaws – there is no subtitle for Kingdom Hearts III and the side of the box actually has “Kingdom Hearts II” as it’s logo.
The next game will not be titled Kingdom Hearts 3.
The next game will not be on the Playstation 2, as Nomura has stated his last game for the PS2 was Final Mix +.
WHAT WE DON’T KNOW
Who the distant outlined figure is.
The place in the Kingdom Hearts timeline this trailer takes place in.
What the text means by “birth by sleep”.
These worlds are based on my own assumptions and predictions, they are to be considered rumors.
Kingdom Hearts III will continue to feature Disney related worlds since that is the main aspect of the game. Due to some new ownership and popular previous worlds, many new and old worlds will likely make a return.
Pixar Worlds
Pixar worlds are an absolute in Kingdom Hearts III. Previously, modern-classics like “Finding Nemo” and “Toy Story” were not featured in Kingdom Hearts because, despite the Disney name, were registered with Pixar, a seperate company. But since the development of Kingdom Hearts II, Disney finally bought Pixar. As a result, all Pixar characters and movies are under the Disney Empire and due to their critical and commercial success, it would be a missed opportunity not to have these characters featured in the next game.
Toy Story – “Andy and/or Sid’s Room”
With new ownership over Pixar, we may see a new level where Sora and Co. are the size of toys, much like when you shrink in Wonderland in the first game.
The Incredibles – “Nomanisan Island”
Everyone remembers the secretly evil island from the Incredibles where the super-family spring back into action to take down the nasty Syndrome. It wouldn’t be a long shot to say that Sora, Donald and Goofy might don some tights and help the family out in the next game.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
A world and characters that were heavily requested in Kingdom Hearts II but never made the cut. We may expect some appearances in the next game.
“100 Acre Wood”
The one world in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II where no Heartless roam. In this world the player simply plays through simple mini-games. This has proved to be popular, especially since it is completely optional and provides a good game for younger players. Since it came back in KH2, it’s likely it will come back once again.
“Olympus Colisseum”
The tournaments on the Olympus world have been favorites of fans since the first KH game. Being one of the most visited world in any of the games, it would be unheard of to exclude it from the next game.
New World – “Sand World”
The world visible in the Secret Trailer at the end of Kingdom Hearts II may be a world in the next title, considering the World That Never Was from Kingdom Hearts II was featured in the Secret Trailer from the first Kingdom Hearts.
“Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden”
Being the very most important world in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, being the root of all evil and good, it’s quite likely that it will play another large part in the next game. Probably being the world that is safe to return to at any time full of shops like Traverse Town or Twilight Town.
“Destiny Islands”
Since this is where the characters were last left off, it’s almost impossible for the game to not begin here. And with the game likely being on Playstation 3, it’s an excellent place to present the amazing new graphics. A world full of palm trees, sand, water, a nice sunset/rise and a quite little village.

As much as you can say it anithero… the silver haired you are talking about is not the same as the one on FF versus XIII. The Protagonist in FF v XIII is a dude but he is awesome… but the silver haired in here is a girl… meaning the two are completely new just like anybody else…
They are introduced as a new character in the series… just like SORA, RIKU, KAIRI was introduced in the SQUARESOFT/SQUARE-ENIX and to the whole world… As a matter of fact… They are not going to use the protagonist from any other FF series or square-enix games as the main characters because those characters are it’s own logo in it’s own game… it wouldn’t be right to use them in another game as another playable character…

Who says that these guys are the main characters first of all? The video could be a set-up for the actual game involving supporting characters. There may be more of the armored guys for all any of us know (look at the secret optional boss in FM+). And you’re right, that is a girl it seems… but it’s animeish and for all we know it could be an incredibly effeminate dude. This video, sadly, gives pretty much no insight into anything definate.

yes charlie… because it is an RPG game just like some FF series which you can only save the game before the last boss fight… where you can only complete other mission… but FFX and up have an exception… because you can use the data from the previous saved game that you have finished…
On the other hand… I have confident that they too are main characters… You don’t have to get a hold of the character to make them a main character… but you can call them whatever you want… Protagonist, allies, extras, etc…
And for the appearance of the characters and the trailer… The story is a fiction… but why would they make a feminine type of dude??? that is a question you might get answered once the game comes out… but I wouldn’t think that it is a dude… creativity just goes that way, got problem with art… go to the ones that make them… and they will know what to fix in the game… My final answer is it is a girl… not dude…GIRL…
As far as for those three knight… yes I am concerned that there might be more of them at the later game… but I already said earlier… the villain will have numerous of allies in their side… meaning those three knights will have allies too… but it won’t only be Sora and friends but hidden knights as well… Many surprises will come up… as soon as the real trailer comes out for the the third game…

i havent played any of the games yet i am exspecting to get the money and just buy games i hear that were good like god of war 1 and kh 1 and 2 and yes it would be just another zelda remake if on the wii and also sony is suppose to be dropping the price of the ps3 by like 150 bucks and upgrading it

The CEO of Sony Playstation stated that there won’t be any price drop… look at the past Game Informer magazines… He said it in there as what reason there is also… Those who sell PS3(in EBAY) abuses the prices by selling it on a high price… that is unreasonable for the sellers, because they get more money than the real manufacturer… That is why SONY won’t have price drop for now because they will loose money if that happens… Since I know that… I just bought mine instead of waiting for price drop… but believe me guys… there won’t be any drops… maybe in JAPAN or Europe… but not in AMERICA…

Peppy is right as to what Nomura is saying… it won’t be Kingdom hearts 3 because it is now a different story from Kingdom hearts… as to what I also red about… It is a surprise to us… this was said last year APRIL… NOMURA almost got the gamers on it… and they got fooled… but Nomura has something else that also he doesn’t want to share yet… You just have to wait…
For the fragment sentences on the secret endings… let me remind you that it is a riddle… don’t confuse yourself over such thing…

now im american i think this is how it goes. bear with me> as ive gone throught these rumors iv put my own thery into play. the old man isnt xenort. hes just a new enemy. witch is why the 4 chasers made the key blades in the first place. now i read that 2 of them went to light one to dark and one to twilight(pergatory). in the beginning of the mix ending u see one chasers hold back the other and he leads the attack. i think thats xenort, who goes down the twilight path. after the war with the old man they all split up. but when they see that one chaser become evil they lock away there leaders thought aka xenort. now after xenort wakes up at ansums feet he is dazed and confuzed and struggles to retrive his memeries. remeber how i said twilight was like pergatory? well thats were xenort first goes to get his memories. now heartless or in purgatory. waiting to be judge by the key blade. that is why xenort studies them. now micky says he studies heartless to rule the worlds. hes not. the only reason he trys to destory every one in his way is because he knows they will lock his memories forever.the reason i think this is because it says any one with darkness in there heart will be consumed by the heartless. if so why wasnt xenort. he had greed to control the world witch is pretty dark. now why didnt the heartless consume him especaly when he was so close to them. the note at the end of kh2 is micky saying the the old man is back. he was “reborn from his sleep” witch the chasers put him in. now micky wants sora and freinds to awken xenorts memoories and then have xenort bring back the chasres to defeat the old man once and for all.
this is all theory. but it should not be taken lightly

Honestly, I disagree with it being a whole new game. No doubt they’ll tie in sora’s tale. I doubt they would leave KHII with that ending, and give out a game like this, with the whole keyblade war and whatnot.
And as for ps2 release blah blah blah, I’m guessing ps2 AND ps3. Just like twilight princess; wouldn’t that be the best bet? More money for square anyway.
But yah, that’s just me.
I think I would die from sadness if they totally ditched sora and the gang. ouch. my heart XD
As for the three people in the video, WTF! My mind hurts. I don’t even want to make any guesses, I’ll only be disappointed. At first I thought that it was Roxas, but I’m sure I’m wrong. And the blue haired lady, wha…O_O I was thinking of Fabula Crystallis when I saw it, But I have absolutely no clue. And some say Xehanort is the brown haired guy? O+O wow, I never thought of that. What with the yellow eyes, I thought he was Ansem the Wise. But what do I know? Oh well XD That’s not really bothering me.

I don’t know, thats risky for square. Alot of people don’t have a ps2, a psp, AND a gameboy. So reaching out to so many consoles for one series is asking alot from their fans.

Here’s another theory: I believe that the entire movie takes place in the past before KH1, because there were so many keyblades (from the great keyblade war) when in reality there are only 3 or 4. And like i said b4, the old man and Xehanort from KH1 are wearing the EXACT SAME clothes!! so this is why i think the old man and Xehanort are connected somehow.(see below)
When it says “birth by sleep”, I believe it means to explain how Xehanort came to be. sleep: being defeated, and birth: how Xehanort appears on Ansem’s doorstep.
At the end of the video, you see Mickey looking concerned out in the distance. I believe Mickey (and possibly the 3 chasers) stops the old man but doesn’t destroy him completely. Instead, the old man wakes up in Radiant Garden drained of his powers and his memories. (basically, i believe Xehanort and the old man are the same person).
This would explain why Xehanort had extraordinary talents, not to mention they both have white hair (doesn’t mean much). (if you watch the egnigmatic soldier battle and read the translations, you’ll see that this theory is quite possible).
“one legend says that the weilder saved the world, while another says that he wrought chaos upon it.”
(from ansem report 9) the one who saved the world was mickey, and the one who wrought chaos was the old man, Xehanort.
One thing i haven’t thought of yet would be what Mickey’s message to Sora and Co. could have been about. If anyone has any thoughts or replies, feel free to speak out, i’d really appreciate it.

Also, I believe the 2 bad guys in the video, were also chasers (keyblade makers) but they lost to the darkness and betrayed the others. Thus when it says “the lost two”.

LOOK AT MY IMPORTANT KINGDOM HEARTS THEORY BELOW.
THIS THEORY IS SUPPORTED BY THE ANSEM REPORTS AND THE SECRET ANSEM REPORTS SHOWN IN BOTH GAMES.
Birth by sleep refers to Xehanort and maybe Sora. Xehanort was reborn when he lost his memories. He AWOKE in radiant garden after being ASLEEP. At that point he was REBORN. That old man in the Kingdom hearts 2 final remix secret ending is Xehanorts true form. He is and was in all actuallity an old man until they defeted him in the war mentioned in the KH2 original secret ending.
