Rumours
Kingdom Hearts 3 rumours (that is just rumors for you American readers) and speculation are found here. Please note this is not factual information, but purely guess-work. We have no way of knowing whether or not this is true yet.

WHAT WE KNOW
The three armored characters that are shown in the “Sunset Horizons/The Gathering” and “Birth by Sleep” secret trailers ARE NOT Sora, Riku, and Kairi. Similarly, the bald man is not Ansem/Xehanort or his Nobody/Heartless.
The names of the armoured characters are: Ven, the Roxas-like character who is frozen; Aqua, the knight with blue hair; and Terra, the largest of the knights and the one who’s face is revealed at the very end.
The Enigmatic Solider is, in fact, Terra, and is hinted to have some connection with Xehanort, though what that connection is, is current unknown. An interesting trend between them now is that they both look similar, and are ‘Enigmatic’ secret bosses.
There are a lot of keyblades, a war is coming or has passed.
The Crossroads are important.
Has something to do with the Keyblade bringing chaos.
DENIED RUMORS
As hinted by Nomura, the story WILL NOT revolve around Sora, as he wants to leave Sora ‘on a break’ for now.
THERE HAS BEEN NO CONFIRMED BOX ART. The box art you see online bearing the name “Kingdom Hearts III” is not the real box art, as there are several flaws - there is no subtitle for Kingdom Hearts III and the side of the box actually has “Kingdom Hearts II” as it’s logo.
The next game will not be titled Kingdom Hearts 3.
The next game will not be on the Playstation 2, as Nomura has stated his last game for the PS2 was Final Mix +.
WHAT WE DON’T KNOW

The place in the Kingdom Hearts timeline this trailer takes place in.
What the text means by “birth by sleep”.
These worlds are based on my own assumptions and predictions, they are to be considered rumors.
Kingdom Hearts III will continue to feature Disney related worlds since that is the main aspect of the game. Due to some new ownership and popular previous worlds, many new and old worlds will likely make a return.
Pixar Worlds
Pixar worlds are an absolute in Kingdom Hearts III. Previously, modern-classics like “Finding Nemo” and “Toy Story” were not featured in Kingdom Hearts because, despite the Disney name, were registered with Pixar, a seperate company. But since the development of Kingdom Hearts II, Disney finally bought Pixar. As a result, all Pixar characters and movies are under the Disney Empire and due to their critical and commercial success, it would be a missed opportunity not to have these characters featured in the next game.
Toy Story - “Andy and/or Sid’s Room”
With new ownership over Pixar, we may see a new level where Sora and Co. are the size of toys, much like when you shrink in Wonderland in the first game.
The Incredibles - “Nomanisan Island”
Everyone remembers the secretly evil island from the Incredibles where the super-family spring back into action to take down the nasty Syndrome. It wouldn’t be a long shot to say that Sora, Donald and Goofy might don some tights and help the family out in the next game.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
A world and characters that were heavily requested in Kingdom Hearts II but never made the cut. We may expect some appearances in the next game.
“100 Acre Wood”
The one world in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II where no Heartless roam. In this world the player simply plays through simple mini-games. This has proved to be popular, especially since it is completely optional and provides a good game for younger players. Since it came back in KH2, it’s likely it will come back once again.
“Olympus Colisseum”
The tournaments on the Olympus world have been favorites of fans since the first KH game. Being one of the most visited world in any of the games, it would be unheard of to exclude it from the next game.
New World - “Sand World”
The world visible in the Secret Trailer at the end of Kingdom Hearts II may be a world in the next title, considering the World That Never Was from Kingdom Hearts II was featured in the Secret Trailer from the first Kingdom Hearts.
“Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden”
Being the very most important world in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, being the root of all evil and good, it’s quite likely that it will play another large part in the next game. Probably being the world that is safe to return to at any time full of shops like Traverse Town or Twilight Town.
“Destiny Islands”
Since this is where the characters were last left off, it’s almost impossible for the game to not begin here. And with the game likely being on Playstation 3, it’s an excellent place to present the amazing new graphics. A world full of palm trees, sand, water, a nice sunset/rise and a quite little village.

Groundpounder124: The real problem with your theory is that you are saying that Namine was created from Kairi’s body. However the truth is that she was created from Sora’s body and soul. So Namine couldn’t have been created from Aqua’s body and soul in the first place.

groundpounder: aqua/namime/kairi do all look pretty similar. thats a possible theory. the fact that aqua looks concerned when ven gets frozen doesnt really support anything. this was discussed awhile back, so im not sure if you were posting here then, but they could just be friends.
because she has that look doesnt mean they are….dating. think about it, if one of your close friends got frozen alive and then tossed off a cliff, i think you’d be pretty concerned too
though they probably do have a romance thing. that always happens in games hahaha. in that case, good call on the “sora and kairi having a crush on each other influenced by aqua and ven”.

Hey another theory here: If Tazimus’ theory were true fact could maybe Namine have been somebody else’s body before she gave it up to Kairi? Now here me out. Look at Namine and then Aqua and then vice versa. They look pretty similar. What IF Aqua gave up her body to Kairi like Ven did to Sora? It might be the reason why that Namine and Roxas like each other so much like Sora and Kairi love/like each other. I mean Aqua looks REALLY concerned when Ven gets frozen and falls in the Birth By Sleep trailer. Maybe Sora liking Kairi and she back is influenced by Aqua liking Ven. Just a theory, but I fidured why not voice it?

Just uh read all your comments and noticed people are repeating things that have already been said and answered which wouldn’t be a problem if I didn’t also notice no new noobs are saying them beyond commenting on tazimus prime’s theory nthing’s new! well here’s an idea you ever noticed how sora’s outfit always has a hood but he never puts it on? maybe he could? Is that perfect..no BUT IT IS AT LEAST A NEW IDEA!!also RALT this is suggesting to get it over with that roxas is sora and kairi’s nobody and so is ven but tazimus prime has already contridicted that theory…bye!

Okay, Here’s just a thought I had about the time Xehanort had sent Kairi to Destiny Islands.
If the birth by sleep game takes place ten years before Kingdom Hearts one and Xehanort sent Kairi through the dark corridor when she was ten then that’s four years before Kingdom Hearts 1, That leaves six years so could it be that Ansem The Wise had him as an apprentice long before that of when he sent Kairi to Destiny Islands,Say around the time of birth by sleep?
In the secret ending it says memories of Xehanort, quite interesting.

shadow15: First Kairi’s Grandmother’s story is just a children story and has nothing to do with Kingdom Hearts. Nomura has already commented on this. Second Xehanort sent Kairi through a dark corridor to test it out. He noticed that she was naturally resistant to the darkness so he tested the corridor using her. That’s how she ended up on Destiny Island.

Maybe the memories of Kairi,Sora and all those memories just lead to memories of others maybe even Xehanorts so if she wanted perhaps she could look back to that time or something, maybe someonelse remembered it.
If Xehanort was the one who sent Kairi away to the islands was he trying to help her or what because she was ten when it happened meaning four years before the first Kingdom Hearts maybe that’s how long ago in between all this happened.
But was Xehanort an apprentice when he sent Kairi away?
Many things to wonder about, but i’m going to give it a break for now.

Now, Ralt has made me think about something here.
Namine is Kairis nobody as Roxas is Soras nobody seperately.
Also, The flashbacks with Kairi Sora seems to just enter them what is he entering through exactly?
Cause I mean Kairi somehow forgot all about it when she appeared on Destiny Islands and this makes me wonder also about how Xehanort lost his memory and only remembered his name.
But what of their families is really confusing or it just doesn’t matter, So were not really sure if Kairi lived with anyone on the islands or not while her grandma probably just disappeared but where does her grandma get the idea of a keyblade war considering her age it could be that she knew more about it than we think and so on and so on…
Getting back on topic, So before what was Kairi doing asleep exactly in the first place during Kingdom Hearts 1.
Could they have been trying to restore memory through someone or something and as to the Roxas and Ven connection also being with Namine and going as far as Aqua in my theory but not the point what I meant with the flashbacks is Vens connection could have brought it up maybe.
What happens to Xehanort when he becomes a heartless could be like how Riku could be possessed and overcome his power maybe Ansem The Wise did too when he was Diz.
Yeah, correct any of this if some of it’s off so I can improve it and explain some other things as well, Though it’s just theory…
So what when Roxas sees Soras body floating there asleep they are the same body?
The same with Kairi, is it like both Namine and Roxas’ bodies are Soras, They could have just been recreated through Ven, Maybe similar to how Xehanort came to be except for the heart thing and the another and no heart I believe means another person and the other having no heart…
Well, Yeah I still don’t fully understand it and I probably still explained it bad, oh well.

Ralt: Well you would wrong on the Namine part. First you see Kairi’s body in Neverland and in Hallow Bastion. Second this Ansem Reports tells you everything you need to know about Namine:
Secret Ansem Report #9
I should have expected nothing less from a Keyblade-wielding hero. Sora and friends defied the machinations of Organization XIII and rescued Naminé. Naminé was a witch who controlled the memories of others. Most likely these powers were achieved through a special process when she was born. Naminé is a Nobody, created when a young girl’s heart left her body. Yet she has no corresponding Heartless. This is because the “young girl” in this case was a princess.
Kairi, a resident of Radiant Garden over which I had ruled, was one of the Seven Princesses that uphold the realm of light. With no darkness in her heart, Kairi produced no Heartless, and instead of vanishing, her body remained in the realm of light. In other words, both the Nobody called Naminé and the Heartless—proof of a lost heart—are extremely unstable beings who lack the bodies needed to produce a Nobody. Therefore, they also lack Kairi’s memories. One reason for this may be that Kairi’s heart did not return to the darkness when separated from her body, but rather migrated to another vessel…deep within Sora’s heart. That is, Naminé is an alter ego of the Kairi who has directly interfered with Sora’s heart.
Could this be why Sora and those whose hearts are connected to him were able to have their memories controlled? She is a “non-being” in the truest sense of the word; having not even become a Nobody and with nowhere left to go, she is but the most fleeting of shadows.
Secret Ansem Report #10
Sora went to sleep in order to recover the memories he lost in Castle Oblivion. It would take quite some time to bring back all the memories he had created in his lifetime. But Organization XIII held sway over Castle Oblivion. Sora would need to be kept someplace more secure. I persuaded Naminé to move the slumbering Sora to Twilight Town for safekeeping.
Naminé. As I have written here before, she is a most unusual being. Born of the same process as a Nobody, but lacking virtually all the elements of a Nobody. Perhaps she continues drawing in hopes of capturing that which she lacks: the memories of others, especially Sora. I have arrived at a hypothesis. I believe that Naminé was born as a special type of Nobody when Sora attacked himself with the Keyblade, causing his and Kairi’s hearts to leave their bodies simultaneously. Naminé emerged as Kairi’s Nobody…but the body and soul necessary to exist as a Nobody belonged to Sora.
When a person’s heart is stolen, a Heartless is born with no sense of self, and the body and soul left behind give rise to a Nobody. But what if one willingly releases one’s heart from one’s body? Sora and Xehanort retained their selfhood even after becoming Heartless. Then there are Kairi and Naminé. Kairi was exceptional for having had no darkness within her heart. Also exceptional was that her heart, once freed, migrated to a new vessel—Sora. The combination of these two theoretically unlikely exceptions may be behind this anomaly. There are matters I must attend to while Sora is sleeping. A new ally has appeared on the scene: Riku.
Third Ven can’t be Sora’s Nobody. Because Nobodies and Heartless didn’t exist ten years ago. Also BBS takes place in the past anyways before Sora even wielded a keyblade.

Tazimus Prime:Yeah, I see where you’re going.
But to point out a few misunderstood things to you,
First of all I didn’t mean Xehanort began to look exactly like the DS I thought it would be pretty clear that you would simply just see some similarities, and who knows maybe there is more than one creature like the DS but still, I mainly was talking about his changes on that part.
So it’s like Master Xehanort was the bald dude ten years ago who could weild keyblades and whatnot, as to now there is a younger character as an apprentice to Ansem the Wise he turns to the darkness all of a sudden and takes his masters name, what if he took his masters name before and him thinking he was Xehanort were some after effects of something.
What I meant about organization XIII’s past is their origins and such and where they were from and how their story went, It has been kept a secret especially with main characters in the org.
If there’s still anything you think you don’t understand please ask.
Now to continue, They say a certain Xehanort opened a door to kingdom hearts or a realm or something I clearly don’t currently remember but that’s not the point i’m trying to get to.
What I mean is he must have used a keyblade or sacrifice a heart or something, but this part I didn’t bring up before in my theories and i’m still not fully understanding it here.
When Xehanort turned to the darkness his eyes turn yellow and his skin gets darker as well as his difference in hair length, well when it comes to Xemnas the hair is longer i’m pretty sure while Xehanorts is shorter and the most part for it is that he just suddenly takes his masters name and also uses it for his apparent nobody.
It seems as I said before Xehanorts heartless kept a body and Xemnas was made at the same time so if Xemnas was his body and soul and by comparing the similar differences I believe that it’s just the darkness that held up Xehanorts body as similar, as we notice he where’s Master Xehanorts clothes so he had to do with something.
The hearts influence on the body is exactly what I mean with how Xehanort is a heartless and how his nobody came to be.
So I think that the young Xehanort was just how Master Xehanort kept himself alive through another not that he totally took over another body but did an experiment to take their form.
As I see it the DS and MX are two almost totally seperate characters.

Tazimus Prime: I believe Namine was created when Kairi’s heart left her body into Sora’s because a Nobody is the soul and body left over without a heart… the fact that she had no darkness in her heart only made it so that should could not produce a heartless. So Kairi produced one nobody (Namine) and no heartless.
That being said, Roxas was definitely Sora’s Nobody… but since Sora had Kiari’s heart in him at the time he could have produced two nobodies which could mean Ven is also his nobody. Thats my thoughts on the matter… let me know what you think.

Ok guys her is how it went down. The night Sora got the keyblade Kairi’s heart went into Sora. We all know this. The reason it went into Sora is because it could become a heartless because Kairi’s heart has no darkness. Therefore she can’t become a nobody either. However when Sora turned himself into a heartless he Namine was born using Sora’s body and soul. It’s in the Secret Ansem reports.
