Which Nobodies gave Twilight Gems? I never had any problems gathering anything else…even Orichalcum and Orichalcum +. I think I’ve had a grand total of 2 Twilight Gems the whole time I played…but like, 15 Twilight Crystals.

I wonder if Xehanort is the guy who turned himself fully to the darkness cause’ Terra said that he wanted to engrave his hatred for Xehanort is Soras heart (x_X Crazy old keyblade master.)Because there are 4 paths. 2 for light and twilight (Terra and either aqua or ven) and the other 2 went down the paths of darkness (xehanort and either aqua or ven, most likley ven.)1 of them came back from the darkness and was forgive ( aqua or ven) and the other one either
a.was baldys apprentice or empty shell, like the Riku replica from COM.
b.Xehanort IS baldy and his apprentice is his empty shell.
Xehanort probaly is Terra’s nobody since they look some what alike. Xehenort is probaly the apprentice because his name spells the anagram ‘another’ or ‘no heart’ IF YOU TAKE OUT THE ‘X’ *HINT HINT* Xemnas is ANSEMS nobody. people keep on forgetting this fact no offense.
this could be why Terra hates Xehanort. Also the Riku replica could come in place soon maybe saying that Riku goes back into the darkness and stays there, finding his replica or ‘ANOTHER’ but it could also be mickey who goes evil because nomura said that we will be shocked about the king in the next game.
OR
Sora goes to the darkness and Riku gets the keyblade ike in kh 1 when Sora’s heart failed the keyblade went to Riku. Riku and Terras names are similar so maybe the keyblades are too. Sora might fall into the darkness and see that it is better than the light and stay to find his lost memories when he does he gets angry that he lost them and goes against them.
OR
He thinks it is wrong and goes back to the light getting ‘the way to dawn’and Riku has the regular keyblade. wind is to sky as Sora is to Ven as a nobody is to his somebody. land is to Earth as riku is to Terra. Sea is to water as kairi is to aqua. get my drift?
mickey is to cheese as cheese is to mousetrap as mouse trap is to death of mouse (lol, i had to put that in)
ok..fine what i really meant was dark keyblade is to dark realm as mouse holding dark keyblade should be to the dark because of that keyblade.

we only forgot it because we know that Xehanort just stole Ansem the wise’s name. really its no further use for us unless maybe someone else in the next game wants to be stupid and steal his name or something. and Xehanort was probably a chaser, then became whole, so he couldn’t be Ansem’s Nobody
in addition to what u said about Sora and Riku turning to the darkness, i agree with that, because remember- at the end of kh2, Sora and Riku out of nowhere decide to reside in darkness or as Sora sais “the other side”

yeah.. i kinda confused myself writing it but i had to write it or else i would go nuts with that theory in my head. thats all i need. to sit up in my sleep again and ask ‘where’s my weapon.’ i don’t know y i did it but my grandma said she answered ‘i don’t know’ and i said ‘i don’t like you’ and went back to sleep turning the other way. thats what i get for playing kingdom hearts 2 every night up late. lol. i could only imagine what i would do if she said i had it. probably beat the crap out of something.
OH YEAH! remember when Riku told Sora, ‘youre still all you’ when Roxas went back into him. MAYBE Sora isn’t all him. Roxas takes control and comes out again. that could explain ven.

In this case, Ansem = Xehanort. He took the name ‘Ansem’ in some twisted way of honoring Ansem the Wise as he continued his research, and the other apprentices called him ‘Ansem’ after that. (And since we love anagrams, note that ‘Ansem’ rearranges to ‘Names’.)
If Xehanort was Terra’s Nobody, then that would mean that Terra would be a Heartless. Ansem (Xehanort’s Heartless) was the only one to retain its human shape, and I don’t think that a Heartless can use a Keyblade…it’s rather contradictory.
Sora got his memories back when Naminé put them back together. What memories does he have to find? And if Sora :: Ven in your theory, then why does Ven pick up Way To The Dawn in the first trailer? And I don’t think that the Keyblade influences the wielder (i.e. the Dark Realm’s Keyblade turning Mickey to the Darkness), but rather the wielder influences the Keyblade. It’s like the legend of Murasame and Masamune being incorporated into FFVII; how Murasame’s sword was bloodthirsty whereas Masamune’s sword sought to protect life…when in the game, these blades find their way into their opposite’s hands (Sephiroth carries Masamune, which he uses to kill pretty much everything he sees, while Cloud can use Murasame, which he uses to protect his friends).
Sora can’t be Ven because Ven is a different person. They just happen to be connected by their names and the fact that they both use Keyblades.
Xehanort IS Xehanort’s name…it has to be. Why else would Terra use it? (Though I have always liked that one fanfic’s explanation where Ansem the Wise gave him that name, intending for it to be ‘Another X’. It’s so poetic. Just about the only fanfic that I like better is the one where Xehanort locked himself in a room without windows and turned on the emergency sprinkler system when he tried to use the computer.)

Oh man, I don’t remember…but it was written in second person, and it was really good; it’s hard to write like that. The reader was Ansem the Wise…and it has some great interaction between the charcters.

so Xehanort stole Ansem’s name just because he forgot it after that war? i thaught it was to make everyone hate Ansem the Wise and not Xehanort. another thing, i don’t think Terra has that much of a connection to Xehanort(Xemnas for this matter) because he was a chaser like the other guys.
the way i see it is that one soldier came from the path of light, one from the path of darkness(Xehanort), one from the path to dawn, and i think the last/first one is called the rhode to result & wonder.

Nonono, he took the name because he was heading the research. Since Ansem was their master and had ‘given up’ the project, Xehanort took the name ‘Ansem’ in secret as a way of designating him the head of their project.
If each is from a different path, then I think they look something like this:
Xehanort – Darkness
Ven – Dawn
Aqua – Light
Terra – Twilight
Xehanort is pretty obviously the representative of Darkness. Ven, in the first trailer, picks up the Way To The Dawn Keyblade, which seems rather indicative of his alignment, and he and Aqua seem to have a relationship, whether romantic, or more of the brother-sister type. (I think the latter is probably the case; Ven looks quite young, while the other two look older. Aqua probably acts like the ‘big sister’ for the group. We see her looking out for the other two, supporting and protecting them with her magic throughout the fight.)
Aqua’s connection is to Kairi, a Princess of Heart. You couldn’t be connected to the Light more if you TRIED. This leaves Terra to represent Twilight. If Ven and Aqua were close, then it follows that Terra and Xehanort would have been close friends, as well. (And if they were friends, then it would only make Xehanort’s betrayal even more painful.)

Well I don’t know whether the three knights are actually aquainted with Xehanort, so if someone can tell me whether this was mentioned. But I do know is that dawn is just another representation of twilight, and there’s only three. Light, twilight, and darkness, and the three keyblades represented that. sora’s keyblade which is light, Riku’s keyblade which is twilight, and Mickey’s which is darkness (keyblade of the dark realm). I don’t think Xehanort being with darkness had any part in this. So with accordance to dawn, it’s pretty much used as a substitue for twilight.
Terra = Light
Ven = Twillght
Aqua = Darkness
I don’t think Xehanort has any part in this, and may just be acquainted with them.

We’re under the assumption that the three knights knew Xehanort. At the very least, Terra knew him, since Terra’s only dialogue is discussing Xehanort. Really, most of what we have to work with is speculation at this point; most of the theories posted here work under the postulates that:
a) The term ‘Chaser’ refers to Terra, Aqua and Ven
b) Xehanort was a Chaser at one point in time
c) Since he was a Chaser at the same time as the others, they all knew each other.
(None of these are confirmed facts, but they seem most logical to us given what we know…which, honestly, is very little.)
True, Dawn is just another version of Twilight (by dictionary definition), but there’s no balance otherwise. I’m not sure if I mentioned the yin-yang here, or elsewhere in the discussion of Twilight and Dawn, but though both Dusk (aka Twilight) and Dawn are ‘twilight’ in the sense that they are defined as dwindling or faint light, they are not the same. Both contain light and darkness, but Dusk (what the game would call ‘Twilight’) has more Darkness than Light. Dawn has more Light than Darkness.
It’s like varying shades of grey on a spectrum between White and Black. There are warm greys (‘dawn’) and there are cool greys (‘twilight/dusk’). Just because I’ve got two gray colored pencils doesn’t mean that they are the same. My ‘Warm Grey 20%’ colored pencil and my ‘Cool Grey 70%’ pencil are both grey, but they’re completely different.

we asked square and nomura about kh 2 fm and they both said that we will be happy by the end of the year with it. they probably will release it in the NA because it has over 70 changes according to the site, they have the books and the music cds for it and it includes COM, it is like a whole new kingdom hearts game plus another one. they put out a lot about it so we probably will get it.

Well, I guess it’s not really dialogue, since Sora never says anything, but it’s that ‘Aqua…Ven…Keyblade’ monologue that Terra says before you fight him. Then, when you got back to challenge him again, when he mentions engraving his hatred for Xehanort on Sora’s heart.
(The fact that he specifically mentions ‘engraving’, and that one of the definitions of a ‘chaser’ is a metal engraver…hm.)

Everything that Terra says has to do with Xehanort…and the fact that he calls him ‘Xehanort’, and doesn’t say something like ‘The one you call Xehanort’ seems to imply that Xehanort is his real name.

nomura said it takes place in both the past and future. so either:
1. that battle takes place in the chasers time place and the future during Sora’s time when they awake (hence ‘birth by sleep,’ a new life without darkness.)
OR
2. the chasers fight that battle in the past, and now Sora and them have to go through the same battle.
OR
3. the battle happened in the past with the chasers, but now they have to team up with Sora’s gang to go against the same enemy to keep time from repeating itself.
OR
4. that battle took place in the past and the chasers loosing caused all worlds to have darkness in their hearts because of baldy releasing kingdom hearts and using it for his own dirty deeds (how naughty XD), meaning that sora and them have to awake the chasers (birth by sleep) that need to be cause terra looked like he was still in a dream world with the way it was layed out, and have them defeat baldy or another enemy and prevent the darkness from fully taing over those worlds.
these are just theories.
