   Axel did not die yes he faded away but ONLY faded away I think he’ll be making a comeback maybe not as himself but…differently
   in all the things I read having to do with Axel’s disappearance said nothing about him dying clue/foreshadow much?…yeah Im a Axel fan XD

   Roxas -> Actually, those things you mentioned are not Organization members’ powers: it’s just that each one of them has a corresponding “element”: nothingness (Xemnas), space (Xigbar), wind (Xaldin), ice (Vexen), earth/stone (Lexaeus), shadow/illusion (Zexion), moon (Saïx), fire (Axel), water (Demyx), time (Luxord), flower (Marluxia), thunder (Larxene) and light (Roxas).

   They also have corresponding FF jobs (some of which are clear if you observe the Nobodies each one of them command/some other peculiar characteristic), although I don’t know all of them… for example: Xaldin -> Dragoon Knight; Larxene -> Ninja; Roxas -> Samurai; Demyx -> Dancer; Saïx -> Berserker; etc., etc.

   I agree that Roxas could have special powers; still, I think giving hearts away would be something that only Kingdom Hearts should be able to do. But I don’t think it’s possible to say that Roxas came back just because he was able to contact Kairi, and also don’t agree with the he “willingly gave up his heart” part; for heaven’s sake, he is a Nobody, and Nobodies don’t have hearts…

    Roxas -> Where did you get the idea that all of the Org.XIII members have powers? The only one who had a special ability was Namine, and that was because she was created differently than the other Nobodies (Kairi didn’t lose her heart; she just left it inside Sora’s)… Plus, IF anything can give the Nobodies a heart, that would be Kingdom Hearts itself.

    Ranyx -> I’ve read somewhere (in this site, I guess), that if Nomura did what he wanted to, Axel would die/fade away/whatever you prefer waaaaaaay before than he did (near the end of KHII)…

    i think i heard rumors that kh3 (or whatever they’re calling it) is a prequel or something, and i dont know about axel being revived, or any org XIII members for that matter, but if that rumor is true, it’d probably be more about when the org served as ansems assistants in hollow bastion and the whole keyblade wars bit, cause i heard other rumors that sora won’t be in it.

    Axel is still alive I can feel it all because he faded away doesn’t mean he’s dead he could’ve beacame whole not dead.Plus he said to Sora Roxas made him feel like he had a heart so and he said Sora made him feel the same.So all the Organization 13 members have powers so just mabye Roxas’ power is to give a nobody a heart.

    right, can i just say… why is everone arguing about kh3? if it comes out, it will be yeeeeeaaarrsss yet! no one, not even nomura has said comfirmed a kh3! but if he does make it, there is a high chance org 13 will be making a comeback, the characters had too much mistery, too many questions left un-answered about them! and DEAD PEOPLE CAN COME BACK! look, malificent came back after she died in kh, am i right? and theres something about an organization 27 or summit like that, org 13 might be involed with that, its too hard to come up with 27 or so completely new characters! we dont find out what happens when sora, riku and kairi are reading the letter, it could be that org 13 has re-risen or summit… but my point is that no one knows about kh3 yet, so there is no point arguing till we know for sure…and thanks for the traslation, hikaru!

    And now, after reading gamemaster 1087’s comment, I’ve got another idea… the person Xemnas is talking about may be Kairi, and the “awaken” part may refer to the fact that she is a Keyblade wielder (scene after Xigbar fight, anyone?) and may be able to become a Keyblade “Knight” as well (although “Keyblade Amazon” would sound better)…

    You guys have it all wrong. When Xemnas says “I wonder if the one that is with Sora won’t awaken” he is oviously talking about Kairi or Riku. Duh! ” the one that is with Sora” has to mean one of his friends. Either that or it means Roxas, because that is Sora’s Nobody. Either way you all are wrong. Axel faded away because he put his whole being into the attack. He WON’T be coming back.

    Axel faded away. he’s dead…. its not insinuating anything, they’re wondering what happened to axel and why he’s not at the meeting and Saix tells them why he’s not there. simple as. Xemnas is the only one insinuating anything. and thats only if Sora will realise that He and Roxas are back together

    Luxord: Maybe he became complete… he could have won something by betting his own existance.

    Luxord: Exactly. Perhaps Axel bet something that didn’t exist, and managed to win. Don’t you think it’s something he could do? It really suits him…

    Saix: It’s worthless. All he would win is nothingness. Axel couldn’t stand the void of not having a heart, was lured by one and then destroyed. He was weak.

    Xemnas: But… there are people who can wake up* thanks to their weakness. I can see it… Axel touched Sora’s heart. I wonder if the one that is with Sora won’t awaken*…

    * The literal translation for “mezameru” is “wake up”, but I think that’s not the meaning intended. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get a better word, since my English vocabulary isn’t as great as I wish it was.

    P.S.: I guess I couldn’t translate Xemnas’ line very well, but I hope you people will be able to get what he meant. Anyway, I hope this helps with something. ;D
